medics getting robbed ?

SOOoo if you played arma 3 altis life you know that robbing medics in bannable but lets say that a guy called a doctor to come to his house and check him up. and 1 doctor goes there and as soon he enters the house the gets told to put his hands up. and then the criminal calls the police to give him 20,000$ (or more) for the hostage or he dies. for me that's verry stupid if someone does that becouse i would protect the medic if he is getting robbed. but what do you guys think.

@DUCATISLO Well, that seems fair enough. Well, unfair to the medic, but that seems within the limits of role-play. I hope it wouldn't be abused a lot, but I don't see why that wouldn't be allowed. If someone was to straight up steal the medics supplies.... well that's a different story.

i think medic would just be robbed for there supplies but i think some community servers will have rules that medic's MUST not be robbet becouse that's bannable

Medics are the neutral people that should be left out of situations like that. It's like one of the unspoken rules. It's not illegal to not cover your mouth when you sneeze, but you do it anyway.

yep. it's one of that rules that don't exist on paper but that everyone naturally knows like the rule that says that if you visit friends and want to play videogames with them after eating chips you have to wash your hands before playing

Idk, if the medical personell start helping the other team, they are no longer neutral, they are the enemy

Well, IRL medics, should be willing to save anyone and so why should it be different in identity. (if at war then, its different) but i am talking about all the medics in a country have a duty of care and health to all. And also I am sure that they won't be able to rob them in the house because they cant most likely hold guns up to someone in the house and use it. because what if you invited me in to your place and I had a gun? i pull it out and tell you to give me everything. It wont be allowed because if the owner invites someone in the the other guy is defenceless if he cant use his gun.

You cant compare everything in the game to real life, because its a game

Sure medics have a duty of care and health, but since you already used the real life argument, I doubt medics would start treating the area before cops clear it, which in I.E altis life, medic just run in and try to get that revive

In real life. Medics work with the cops. They call the cops if a scene is not safe. EMT's are trained to be cowards. 1)Self 2)Partner 3)Patient 4)Bystanders... In the military and in combat, medics are protected at all times and casualties are brought to them. This isn't a military sim, but medical personnel are not neutral. They are law abiding citizen trying to save lives while still having the responsibility to safeguard their own lives. That means calling cops and staying away from active shooters.

and that means if a criminal is shooting medics he can be sure that no medic will reanimate him

depends on you're jurisdictions(servers) guidelines. You might have to wait until the officers disarm the assailant or just say fuckem and leave him for some other medic

That's what makes me think that there should be a clinic, rather than people calling a doctor over to their house and be at risk of getting robbed. There can be a clinic that a person in need of assistance would visit the doctor that would be at the clinic.

Or. If not a clinic, they can have a hired guard escort them to a house.

Robbing a medic shouldnt be bannable but it should be massivly looked down upon in the community as they spend their time saving lives.

It should be noted that medics are not millionairesure, so robbing them would just be a bit cruel rather than going for something worth while .
