The shop says that the prices will go up when this gets released but I'm wondering if there's going to be any kind of forewarning about it cause I'd like to buy a copy but throwing $30 at once is a lot of money for me. The other question though was whether we could buy the $15 version and then pay another $15 before the module comes out and whether it would get us the $30 one since donation rewards stack on Asylum's website.

as soon as there is a release date for the town square module you know when the prives will rise. 

Yes, you can buy the 15$ package and upgrade for another 15$ to the second package. Just visit the shop site again while logged in and the shop will show you the upgrade possibilities.
