So I am expecting to share my apartment with my girlfriend but it's important to me that she is able to use the apartment and possibly remodel it or whatever she wants even when I'm not online, can I hand her the keys?

So you can have as many roommates as you have bedrooms (though married couples might be counted as 1 user as they share a bed, at least according to this here)

 

but there'll be only 1 owner, and you can decide who gets more permissions as a roommate and who just sleeps on the bed in your house.

How will adding player permissions work? will it be a physical thing where the owner has to walk up to the key hangar and add someone's name or will it just be like go to menu > options > housing > add member?

Question for @Vix

I dont have the answer and also Im not Vix but, I think the key hanger idea is gold. It could be a neat way to illustrate how many players can have permissions to the home. I honestly see it working very well.
