Another Character Idea

So I have made a character idea in a previous post and I have decided to just come up with a bunch of backstories for different characters cuz why not.

Name: Colandrea Jones

Nickname: Coco

Race/Ethnicity/Nationality: Born in America, Black, doesn't know her exact ethnicities

Appearance: Dark Skin almost like Ebony Wood. Tall. Toned body due to exercise. Dark Brown eyes. Shoulder length Dreadlocks

Age 37

Goals: To complete her transition into a woman. (she's trans btw)

Personality: She is a take no shit kind of a person but won't always look for confrontation. She is generally distrustful of people as she has known transphobia all throughout her life since she came out. She, however, isn't a mean person. She knows how dangerous the world can be and does not intend to die anytime soon.  

Personal Facts: As I said above she is in fact trans. She is longing for a sisterhood. A group of women where she can just be one of the girls. 

Sexuality: Straight (Likes men)

Education: High School Diploma, Dropped out of college (will explain why)

Natural Assets: Confidence, Experience

Possible Occupations: Drug Dealing/Manufacturing. Anything that can get her money but will not murder for money   

Background: Colandrea Jones was born Cole Jones to Doris Jones and Fisher Jones in the Atlanta Georgia. Ever since she was a young she was.. different from all the other boys. She was always a little more feminine than the rest and was bullied because of it. The only one who supported her was his mom. Around the age of 12, she heard about men dressing up as women and she was so fascinated by it. She got into her mom's closet and started trying on clothes. She felt.. right in those clothes. At age 15 she (still he at the time) came out as gay. His dad was infuriated. He tried to beat her but her mother got between them. She told him that he either accepts her (him) for who they are or the dad is kicked out. He left and left them all alone. Time passed and she (he) accepted himself as a gay male and although he faced incredible hate from people he learned to live with it. He graduated high school and got accepted into a local community college and got a shit load scholarships including things like the tall people Scholarship and the divorced parent/single parent scholarship. (they are real scholarships btw) It was during his first year at college when he fully realized his identity. She was a woman trapped in a man's body. She dropped out of college to work full time to pay towards her transition. She joined the U.S. postal service (I know, boring af but a girl gotta do what a girl gotta do.) 6 months into her job her mother died from cardiac arrest and left everything she had to her. She, although saddened, used this to her advantage and finally was able to start HRT, hormone replacement therapy. After 2 years of using her late mother's funds for her transitions she finally legally changed her name to Colandrea. As the money ran out she realized she needs to find a more disposable income. After the house was seized by the bank she set off to start fresh. She found her way to the Island that Identity takes place on and will try to find a job to fund her hormone treatments. (hormone treatments are rp)
