crime affects property prices

simple idea if a certain area lets say turtle beach has a lot of crime in a 24 hour in game period like 3 murders, 2 police chases, 4 cars get stolen property values would be affected causing cops that live there to protect they're areas more and really change up how real estate markets could work, like hiring people to cause violence in a neighborhood so they can buy a house cheaper.

Sounds nice, however this would not effect prices extremely hard. Prices are made up from land size, property size, nearby malls and supermarkets, how close it is to nature and a few other factors. Also it is mainly crime in the span of years that effects pricing and not something that happened last week since it could just be random. However this does make sense, homes with a lot of crime bring more risk and are therefor cheaper. However if a group of players decide to terrorize a street for 1 week would it be fair for the home owners to then get their homes to be worth a lot less? Of course this means those owners might hire a PMC or security company. It has pro's and Con's.

The following post's ideas MUST be implemented within the game considering that it realistically aligns itself with the economics of the real world.

One is literally capable of purchasing households within Detroit for merely $10 due to the amount of crime and lack of services within the region.

I think you have a good point but if you think about it: Let's say you want a house and it's to expansive. You could go out and pay a few hooligans to create trouble in that area and completely dominate a marked witch would be an extremely deep roleplay. 

I hope this gets implemented. BTW yes it is shit for the people that live there but that's how live goes. If you give the players nothing to worry about it will get boring. Think about a player with 2000 hours playtime. He has so much money he has nothing more to do. This would create a way to get money out of peoples pockets back into the economy.

The land-owners and tenants would be expected to invest in private security officers in order to reduce the criminal activity that exists within their neighborhood in order to increase the value of the region.
