Posted March 28, 2017 (edited) Certain societies, such as the Amish or Mennonite communities, tend to prefer to reside within the agricultural era rather than the industrial era. In the process, an extensive amount of "cowboy"-minded individuals would prefer to travel on a horse or a pick-up truck. Finally, Law enforcement officers, such as The Royal Canadian Mountain Police, often ride throughout numerous towns and cities on horses. Thus, it would appear to be an interesting idea if players could possess the option and ability to travel throughout the land on a horse rather than an automobile. However, players shall be expected to provide the horse with food, shelter, training, and nurture in order to ensure that the horse fulfills it's role. Imagine a local farmer that decides to invest in a horse in order to visit the local town or city while traveling through terrain that exceeds beyond a road, such as a field. Critique: It would be abnormal for players to travel through an urbanized city on a horse. Response: Not at all, Mennonites and the R.C.M.P. travel through urban cities in order to either purchase materials or patrol neighborhoods. Posted March 28, 2017 I agree! I definitely think there should be horses, it would totally cut down on gas costs, but as of right now they've said no to horses :c Maybe they'll be added in the future like in an expansion or update! Or maybe since they're in a partnership with spatialos, they'll be able to add more features into the game, including horses and horseback riding! I think it would definitely make traveling through the forests, mountains, off the grid, etc. a lot easier than having to maneuver a car on unpaved roads! Hopefully, they'll look into it

Imagine, chasing a vulnerable citizen on a horse with either a machete, shotgun, or revolver within an abandoned forest prior to roleplaying the idea that the carcass was fed to the pigs within the ranch. Your character sounds a lot like one of the criminals from a Criminal Minds episode! Hopefully, you've seen that show before, if not, then just ignore this

Well, remind me to never stumble upon your ranch in the forest! I don't wanna be pig food!

The character shall be friendly as long as the visitor possesses a unique purpose towards visiting the ranch. I.E. purchasing livestock or crops OR selling items. Posted March 29, 2017 I gotta say that horses would be awesome! The idea of ether living on a ranch or in the woods with a horse to hunt off of, or to move animals from place to place would be super cool. Or maybe riding though town like its the 1800s. Posted March 29, 2017 Horses has been one of the #1 Recommendations for a while, I'm sure it is just a matter of time XD. The thing is that the starting out animal system will be minimal but growing over time from what we currently know.
Posted March 29, 2017 In the process, it would also provide horse-breeders with a life-long career that involves selling racing horses to individuals that intend to compete with other players in horse-racing, resulting in the formation of a casino-like venue that consists of a race track for individuals to bet on horses. Finally, a "horse-ranch hotel" could be formed in order to provide couples with the ability to rent a two-bedroom residence for their weekend honeymoon. Posted May 8, 2017 Imagine owning and breeding horses on a farm - I would love that! Frankly, I'd prefer horseback travel over vehicles any day.
