I love the quiet and peaceful way to make money
and how the Mafia works with allies

you could achieve the narcos for:
safety
work
transport
Finding and / or kidnap other players
etc.

I'm not going to lie, we really need other careers that aren't criminal groups/families/organisations. We have so many criminals that we don't have enough law enforcement. And because there is so many criminals it means that people are less likely to police officers. Its a shame actually. I was hoping for more variety like @KevinLangston said.

Don't worry my friend, there will be just as much police. Already i have seen lots of people saying stuff about being cops. You will see.
