Glad you're interested in joining! Private military will be fun, but you'll probably want another job since private military work will only be certain times or events. There's another guy @Qlight123 who is your age that runs a transport company, perhaps you could be one of our truck drivers and work with him. Having an armed driver would benefit our trade routes a lot, or you could just simply provide security for our transports.

 Im down for that!

Hm, I thought of going solo, but I'd rather join you guys :)

1) Age: 15

2) Location: Cyprus (Google it) xD

3) How long have you been gaming: Woah, well I don't quite remember, since I was 5. Started off with FPS games like COD and then resulted to PC games like League Of Legends, some CS:GO and more:)

4) Which role do you currently prefer: I personally prefer the business direction. I love business, and this is what I'm following as a living further in my life. I do economics(no clue if that would help me haha) and I love the business feature of this game.

5) PvE, PvP, or Hybrid: To be honest PvP or Hybrid are fine, while PvE are kind of boring. Especially in this game.

6) How many hours per week do you plan on playing: ~2 Hours/day weekday, 4-5 hours weekends

6) What is the reason why you want to join: I really wanna get to know people in this game, and have fun with it. Don't want to join and be ganged from other teams, and play solo since that would not benefit me. Hope I can join, would be amazing to be part of you guys. Best of luck, and see you soon!

Hm, I've read pretty much that there will be different types of businesses, but there are more to be released :) Once the game releases, and see the full list of available businesses, I will choose one and let you know. Probably going towards Stock Market. I heard people saying it's possibly going to be in the game. Overall, any business haha.

After a bit of time, I sort of know that my role within The Neighborhood will fall into the 'Business owner' category, so I can be switched there from the current 'undecided' status.
My business is a Jack-of-all-trades kind. I know it doesn't really give much detail, but that's because there's simply not much detail to give.

We dont need to use physical force. If you are charging more for your legal good and services than what the Bureau regulates is fair, there will be another business selling the same goods that we are already affiliated with that are selling them for a fair price.

People will know they are selling them for a fair price because we have professionally checked their prices against the fair market using our business model.

In short, if you have higher price than what is rightfully fair, we will find someone else to sell it for a cheaper, fairer price; And provide a place for consumers to know where the best deals are at.

If you are unconcerned with the influential power of liquid markets, then by all means continue to manipulate your prices above what is fair.

Perhaps you are even totally correct, and our corporation will fail in its endeavors to stabilize a healthy economy for everyone, however we will retain the belief that consumers have the right to affordable fair prices with a reasonable margin of profit for the merchant.

by doing that practice not only would you be eliminating healthy competition in a laissez-faire capitalst free market economy. By getting other companies to sell the same goods for cheaper you are going from being a regulator to a proponent for certain businesses you favor. What specific indicators do you use in your business model to determine whats a "FAIR PRICE". Because what I consider fair you could consider outrageous and vice versa. Ultimately it should be the consumers choice to decide what is a reasonable buy and what not to buy.

We believe that unregulated "free" markets, as you determine it, often leads to corrupt monopolized companys gone extortionists.

Our model, done on a per company basis, sets a defineable prize zone in which would be considered fair for the consumer and profitable for the merchant; At a booming maximum of a 300% profit margin.

If no regulation is set place you will witness radical split between upper class and middle class, leading to unaffordable markets for the middle class and eliminating them to poverty level entirely.

With no middle class consumer base, merchants will have difficulty selling their goods and services at all.

Rest assured the FMMB is in the best interest of both the consumer and the merchant, for a stable and growing economy.

1.) 300% profit margin may be booming for your dreams, not mine. Who are you to limit my entrepreneurial goals?

2.) Laissez-faire is the best economic model because it allows business owners the best potential for economic growth

3.) In a Free Market economy you don't force the consumer to buy, if they don't like the service or high prices, they don't have to purchase

4.) I am currently the only Mining company in Identity, When the game start I'm going to aggressively mine Raw Materials, Are you going to limit my inventory as well? What if I clean the map are you going to take away my inventories and "trickle it out to other mining companies".

5.)Regulatory Agencies rarely work, due to push-pull factors necessary to make everyone happy

I'll tell you what I can do, I will not allow you to regulate me. However, for for fear of me becoming a monopoly. In game when I begin mining resources, I will separate and properly price my resources in three separate packages.

The low class package -

The Middle class package -

The high class package -

This will ensure a middle class remains on my part at least, I could care less how other businesses affect the economy and I will not be punished for it

I will determine prices at a later time but they will be within affordable range for each class once I get a feel for the market.

As far as my resources I will not let you limit how much I acquire, because that just goes to show my hard work in game and I will not be punished for that as well.

This is the best compromise for anyone because I do not limit myself to a 300% profit margin. and I do not limit my materials.

And your still able to do your regulation thing.

EVERY government that isn't some form of authoritarian leadership has economic regulations set place for the best interest of a growing economy. Not just to keep merchants filthy rich.

In a "free-market" (such as the one the united states uses) there is still regulation to ascertain a growing economy; Our foundation only seeks to give merchants a price range for their goods, to keep prices low and affordable while still giving room for merchant profitability.

Why would we limit your inventory? We encourage merchant growth to maintain a booming economy. Our corporation  is not here to tell merchants what to do and how to do it. Our foundation is here to benefit everyone and keep the economy growing for everyone.

Every single first world nation and super power on this planet has regulatory offices for the economy and then some. The countries that do not have regulatory powers are often dictatorships and other forms of authoritarian leadership.

I cannot understand where you have gained this notion that our foundation seeks to limit the potential of your inventory or work.

Once more, we ENCOURAGE merchants to bring as many goods and services to the table as they possibly can.

Our goal has always been, and will continue to be, to ensure affordable prices for the consumers and reasonable profit margins for merchants.

The 300% profit margin is reasonable, given the following example:

Merchant A has expenditures of $100 from start to finish to make a couch. Under no circumstances should they be selling that same couch for 50 grand ($50,000). This destabilizes economies and separates the economic classes into that of poverty and that of upper class.

Also at this junction in time the 300% MoP we allow is just a placeholder until things launch off and we can really see the effects of our allocation of profit.

Again, we will be working with any merchants on a personal per company basis to figure the best course of action to benefit the entire economy, and not just the filthy rich.

1.) Every "GOVERNMENT" has had some form of economic regulation in place for there growing economy. Therefore, I would assume you are running for office, which would grant you the legal jurisdiction to actually regulate businesses in Identity.

2.) I offered you a compromise package to assure Aurum Mining would prevent this situation of class division because I am trying to Co-operate with your agency. You ignored it.

4. ) The assumption is you would be limiting my inventory because you are limiting my Profit of Margins, Where does the abuse of Entrepreneurial freedoms stop? Not saying the intent is there but if you open one door where does the other close? You essentially would be pulling the strings of my company like a puppet for consumer happiness.

7.) I intend to bring many goods and services to the table, and I will allow the consumer, not a "regulatory agency"  regulate my prices with what the consumer believes is valuable by the extent to which they purchase.

Taking a look at your example if Merchant A has expenditures of 100 dollars from start to finish to make a couch, but is an incredible artisan to where his work, services, and salesmanship are unmatched . Under every circumstance he has every right to sell that couch for 50 grand. This may destabilize the economy but economic classes were not created to be equal.Only in a Utopian society would that be possible, and having that mentality on this example is a very socialist way of thinking. Why should the Merchant be punished for outstanding work and the overall outlook of the economy when he is practicing his craft to make an outstanding living for himself. Now, however if he makes the couch for 100 and does poor work that is another story.

We will never seek governmental office, but will constantly seek governmental backing in our policies. This means while we seek to have our policies enforced, in the event we acquire government backing, it would ultimately be up to the current government the legal extent of our foundation.

Because the current model of in-game economy has not been disclosed, nor has anyone had time to understand the processes involved in obtaining value, we are not setting any policies in stone and will most likely re-evaluate our current model after some much needed data has been acquired about the markets. Once this has been achieved we can more directly answer your questions about workable business models.

We only seek to keep the economy balanced, stable, and growing. We understand the concern about corruption in the offices, but ultimately, in the event we acquire governmental backing in our policies, it would lie in the hands of the government to determine the legal extent of our foundation and/or any of our policies they would want to review.

The quality of craftsmanship is accounted for in the process of determining the cost of production. If you are creating superiorly crafted goods, you will be allocated a fair price increase as permitted.

as I will continue to to explain to all merchants, we are not here to force you to earn less money. We are here to maximize the amount of capital you make while still retaining high numbers of consumers for your goods.

Our current business model is a GUIDE for us to establish a common means of determining fair market value in a fluctuating liquid market. We will be working with businesses on a PER BUSINESS model, meaning we will determine fair market price ranges for each business independently. What one merchant is selling his couches for maybe be fairly marketed at a higher price than what another couch merchants fair price would be considered.

Every step of the merchants creation process, starting with concept of idea, is taken into account when we are determining your fair price range.

I implore all merchants to consider endorsing our Foundation for their own benefit.

Mr. Crowley; President of Fair Market Merchant Bureau

Is legal representation still required in the Neighborhood? I might be interested. Nothing says hello like a solid, uncontested lien on the house of annoying individual 'x'.

That being said:

1) Age? -> 29

2) Location? -> The Netherlands

3) How long have you been gaming? -> Since I was.. 4? ish?

4) Which role do you currently prefer? -> Lawyer / owner of law firm

5) PvE, PvP, or Hybrid? -> Mostly PvE, not scared of having a gun under my desk, just to be sure.

6) How many hours per week do you plan on playing? -> 20-30

6) What is the reason why you want to join? -> If you're good at something... never do it for free. If you are truely good at something, just make sure you're not on your own.
