Family First, Mission Always. Stay Safe. Though, America is far more democratic than it was originally in the First Republic/Old Republic. No longer do you need to have even a single ounce of interest in this land to be able to vote, all that is required is age and ID. Even non-citizens can vote in certain areas in the US. Even then, we are still a republic; but, very loosely so, and within this century, we will barely have a republican (not party) government. We have a constitutionally limited representative democratic republic -- that is the technical term for the United States form of government, if you want to get nerdy on the subject.
