Posted August 18, 2016 Hello everyone, I am aware that the planned servers for identity will likely hold up to 300(+) players on a server. Does anybody have knowledge on how many people modern servers can hold? How much do you think the servers can go up to? Also I would hope that a server of 250/300 people would not be too laggy because in a game a large as identity, it is more fun and immersive with alot of people in a server. Posted August 18, 2016 (edited) MoTown and Paratus talked about this in an interview with Markeedragon on YouTube. They said they do not have an official number yet but servers will be somewhere from 100 - 400 people. My guess is around 300 will be the final number. But they have to run more stress tests. Alright, thanks for the info. Personally I think 100 people isnt large enough for an extremely immersive experience. If it ends up that we can eventually do atleast 250+ then that's good.
