College Sports Viewing with Other Alumni at the Theater!!
Mordacar posted a topic in Ideas & Suggestions
To draw in millions of players in the USA, cut a deal with the Power 5 NCAA broadcast partners to live stream games at a special town theater screen. Players will pay $10 (real cash via a pay now button) to enter, half goes to Identity, half to the broadcasters. A search for "Ohio State "will tell you when to show up to see the game with other Ohio State fans!!! A search for "Alabama" will do the same etc. It will be like a virtual tail gate party!! All fans must agree that if they enter as a troll it only takes three votes by others in the theater to evict you with no refund. Eventually you can build stadiums and sell out a 300 person section at the 50 yard line or half court line. The game can be time delayed and virtually recreated in 3D! -

Would love to see a Motown and Paratus ... this would be the name of it haha type of arcade... Mini golf type of place where you can go and compete and play with friends..... You can play all these mini games and they would come out with tickets after you paid for these tokens with your in game money.... then you would get tickets that would come out.......there would be certain "seasons" that would last a certain time to redeem these items that a person can get and once they are gone they are gone.......maybe you can make them trad able that people can buy then or just say they can win a teddy bear on a date and give it to a loved one...... This would be cool since you could put these items out in your personal space or maybe wear a unique shirt you got from playing a game.... the mini golf would be kick ass to for having fun with that and meeting new players and just jumping in a car with four of your best friends and heading off to the course... @Motown @Paratus you guys keep up the hard work and keep doing what your doing and cannot wait to see this game go from there........

boxing Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather. Who are you cheering for?
Mastahakill posted a topic in Hangout
So it's actually happening! This is going to be a great end of the year. I'm just wondering who you're cheering for! I'm cheering for Conor McGregor. Don't get me wrong, I love both fighters and I believe Floyd Mayweather is an amazing boxer but I think Conor McGregor is gonna win this one. Also where are you guys from? -
Anyone else a fan of wrestling and would hope that we could be professional wrestlers or run a pro wrestling company like wwe? I guess the closest thing to pro wrestling would be boxing or mma fighter/promoter. But if we could do professional wrestling, that would be amazing

Gym Animations / Minigame / Physics I know gym mechanics and stuff are a long way but hear me out. I think there should be animations so people can see you lifting weights or doing some sort of workout in the gym on Identity RPG. It would also be cool if there was a mini game for lifting weights like in GTA SA when you had to press "X" and"O" back and forth as fast as you can to get a rep and also choosing the weight you're lifting before you start. I think it would also be more interesting if the weight plates changed depending on how much weight you're lifting, or you'd have to put the weight plates on the olyimpic bar yourself. Gym Mechanics One more thing as well, I think it would be cool if you get a temporary skill depending on what part of your body you work out. For example legs, If you do leg workouts you should be able to run faster. "When you build strong muscles in your lower body, you are able to push off the ground with more force. Each running stride takes less time, and you can cover more distance with your steps using less effort. Stronger legs and glutes propel you forward and enable you to move faster and fatigue less quickly, while also helping you maintain an energy-efficient posture and running form for increased strength." You should also be able to run a treadmill or a track to increase endurance and lose weight. There should also be some sort of skill to gain from arm,chest/back workouts. I know it doesn't need to be this detailed but you guys are the professionals, this is just an idea. Thanks for your time!

Not sure if this was recommended already, but while I was searching the forum I came across somebody making a Boxing League and I got an idea. What if the devs somehow found a way to livestream the fights, so then people can watch them live on their TVs at home? Also this could open avenue to new careers, such as sports-casting, venue-management, coaches, fighters, etc.

born to bleed Professional Boxing Team/League 'Born To Bleed'
Mastahakill posted a topic in Other Careers
Born To Bleed is a professional boxing team looking to turn our fighters into champions by helping them achieve their full potential and bring greatness to all of Identity RPG. The 'Born To Bleed' Team competes regularly and are very competitive always looking for competition. We want to motivate our fighters to give their best effort at all times whether it's in the ring or training. To join you must train with a Trainer which can be found below along with other information. If you want to set up a fight with one of our fighters message the Team Leader or a Trainer on the forums or come into our gym so we can schedule a appropriate time for the fight. We also host events sometimes with a grand prize! If you are wondering why there is so few openings, it's because we need to focus on our fighters and having too big of a team can be pretty difficult. We want to be able to give everyone even attention and opportunities. If this team is manageable we will create more openings and jobs. (Age):Optional (What position are you trying to get?) (What makes you wanna join the team?) (How active are you?) (Tell us a little about yourself) (Anything else you would like to tell us?) After talking to us, we will call In-game or let you know on the forums or direct message if you got accepted into B.T.B. (most likely on how you contacted us.) Rules:No weapons, The fighter must only use their boxing gloves (or fists if there are no boxing gloves) to fight. No drug use such as weed, cocaine, heroine, steroids, etc. Use of these drugs will automatically disqualify the fighter. No bad sportsmanship, Fighters must not curse or insult the other fighter or this can result in a warning or a disqualification.Fighters must obey the referee at all times or they will receive a warning or disqualification.Fighters must not attack the referee or they will receive a warning but most likely a disqualification.Fighters must not attack the other fighter after the bell (or the end of the round or match) or it will end in a disqualification or the fighter will receive a warning. If a Fighter "floors" their opponent, they cannot hit them when they're on the canvas. If a fighter is absent when his fight is up, he has 1 minute to show up or it will be considered a no contest. If it is an event, the fighter that is missing his opponent will move on to the next fight.Fighters only have a 1 minute break between rounds, taking too long will result in a warning or disqualification. When a round is over, the fighters must return to their corner.(These rules only apply if there is mechanics in place for these.)If you score a knockdown on your opponent, you must go to the farthest neutral corner while the referee makes the count. The floored boxer has up to 10 seconds to get back up on his feet before losing the bout by knockout.A boxer who is knocked down cannot be saved by the bell in any round.Referee/Judges:Referee's and Judges will most likely just be hired to avoid cheating and/or favoritism. If we cannot hire one, we'll have somebody on our team and/or the other team to judge and/or referee to fill in the spots. The Referee will be in charge of enforcing the rules, stopping the fight if somebody is knocked out, or if nobody is knocked out the Referee will announce the final decision made by the judges at the end of a fight. Judging: Since there is no take downs, kicks and other stuff, The judges will keep track of whoever ever lands the most good punches, using good technique and blocking. If nobody is knocked out, the decision will be made by the judges. They will choose whoever they thought was the best fighter and be announced by the referee after he gets the final decision from the judges.Rounds and Time: There can be 3-5 rounds and each one will be 3-5 mins. It depends on who's fighting and what kind of fight it is.Amateur Fights: I match up one of my fighters with another fighter from another gym/club who are around the same skill level, unless there is nobody else to fight and they still want to fight but they risk a butt whooping and a loss on their record that I'll keep track of. A Amateur Fight will be 3 rounds and 3 minutes with 1 minute break between rounds for corner men to tend to their fighters.Professional Fights: This is when I match up my best fighters with the best fighters out there and put their skills to the test and put it on their pro record, no matter if it's win or loss. Possibly being a reward at the end A Professional Fight will be 5 rounds and 5 mins with a 1 minute break between rounds for corner men to tend to their fighters. Special Events: I might host special events and might have people pay for tickets to enter the fight and spectate it. We'll have people from multiple gyms and teams to compete for the grand prize while trying to improve their record while getting recognition. Each event will have at least 8, 12 or 16 fighters. It will be set up like this. All fighters that participated will get a shout out for their teams and a thank you at the end of the event. Match Up and Event Example: -
Disclaimer: This topic is about association football (soccer), NOT American football. Hello fellow sports fans! As many of you know, the developers have stated that sports will be a form of entertainment in Identity. Therefore I present to you the community's first top level sports league. Due to the name of island currently being unknown, it will stay Identity Island. I present the Identity Island Football League (or Identity Premier League) The league will consists of 12 teams across the 3 cities, which each city starting with a chief club. The other 9 clubs must be purchased for $100,000 and you will become the president of that club (with full customization, from team logo/name to hiring, etc.) with a reserved spot in the 1st season of the league. Ash Hill: -Ash Hill FC (chief club) (buy able for $250,000) -(Open club spot) -(Open club spot) -(Open club spot) Roseport: -Roseport FC (chief club) (buy able for $250,000) -(Open club spot) -(Open club spot) -(Open club spot) Turtle Beach: -Turtle Beach FC (chief club) (buy able for $250,000) -(Open club spot) -(Open club spot) -(Open club spot) As the president of the club, you may hire managers, coaches, and other officials that deal with players and field management. League Season The start of the season will begin with a recruiting/transfer window. This time period will last approx. 2-3 weeks in where teams may recruit players or trade players with other clubs. (AFTER THE TRADING WINDOW CLOSES, PLAYERS MAY NOT BE TRANSFERRED TO OTHER CLUBS) As a player: You will show off your skills to various teams interested in hopes of getting selected to be on the team. Tryouts and combines are the best ways to be scouted. If a team is interested in you, they will offer you a contract and once both parties agree, congratulations you're on a team! (more details will be provided) As a president/manager: You must actively scout for the most skilled players to assemble you're league squad in hopes of a title win. Hosting combines are a good way to find talent in the Identity community. If you are interested in a player, a contract must be made. The following must be included: -Salary (per season, not per year) -Signing bonuses (if any) -Length of contract (maximum 2 in-game years, until renewal) After all 12 teams have assembled their squad, the regular season will begin Each team will play each other twice throughout a season (once at their home field and once at that of their opponents) , for a total of 22 games each club plays. The scoring goes as follows: +2 points for a win/ +1 point for a tie/ 0 points for a loss Clubs will play 2 games a week (one on Saturday, one on Sunday, unless rescheduling is needed), so each season should last no more than 3 months. The team at the end of the season with the most points will be declared League champion. The champion club will receive (along with the title) a $1,000,000 prize (might be subject to increase). Conclusion: This is all just in the works of development and I would really like the community's opinions on the matter. I plan on turning the Identity Premier League into the most popular sports/entertainment feature in the game. If you are interested in becoming a player or manager in the League or if you have any other questions, feel free to comment below! Like and share with those who could seriously be interested!

(Updating list as I get more ideas) Not sure if this is in the game already, but here are some cool concepts that are based off of the "Art museum", "Paintball", and "Movie Theater" as they are very nice additions to the game. So I thought of some other things of the same kind of genre, I see them as "Tourist Attractions" or other kinds of entertainment and the culture of what "Identity" should have someday. ________________________________________ Average Level Difficulty Concepts (Reasonable to Question) * Starred concepts make more sense if you continue them with the "More Advanced" projects listed. Amusement Park - A main amusement park resort (Water park, Roller coasters, Food Stands, Haunted House, ect. Should be extremely big and amazing looking like Tokyo Disneyland) Resort / Honeymoon / Amazing Visual Scenery - Beach Resorts ( Like Sandals Resort, clear waters & tropical plants, animals, and atmosphere) Traveling Entertainment - Carnival (Carousel, Ferris Wheel, Bumper Cars, Swinging Hammers, Octopus, Tilt a Whirl, ect. a tiny carnival/circus that travels around to different areas) Festive / Events - Festivals (Music Festival - I know someone who would love something like Ultra, Food Festivals, Holiday Festival) Fair - Clothing Fair / Goods Fair (Pop up event that sells unique clothing / Items only sold by console) Shows - Car Show (Pop up event that sells rare sports cars only sold by the console) Live Entertainment - Sports Centers (Players should be able to play a sport and if they're extremely good they can get in on the Sports Centers) * Museums - Historic Museums (Should be able to find rare fossils around the world to give to the Museum or hold onto and auction off) * Historical Artifacts & Treasure! - Ancient Ruins & Temples to explore and gather rare treasure from them to keep, sell, or steal. (codes & messages required to break into different rooms devs can give hints about each treasure hunt) To have ancient ruins and temples you should first give identity a real history as to why those items are valuable. * Historic Entertainment - Medieval Entertainment (There's a place called "Medieval Times", they do real life jousting on horses, dress in medieval clothing, give you a medieval meal, and for an extra fee; you can pay to sit in the throne, eat like a king, wear a crown, and tell what you want the actors to do to each other while watching them and eating your meal.) ________________________________________ Miscellaneous Concepts (Reasonable to Question) Identity Wiki / Interactive Dictionaries in Game - A wiki section devoted to explaining in depth on the information of items, with an in game item called the "Dictionary" that you can open and click on words that will then pull up Identity's official Wiki Page. Example: History of ALL the Businesses that surpassed 1 month and what their purpose was, the time opened and time closed. Toggle to see all the currently present owned stores. Identity Interactive Map in Game - A consistently updated Map that works with the "Wiki" mapping out all the businesses, farms, dig sites, ect. For players to toggle their map to. Clicking on any of the dots located over a specific site will pull up the wiki with the information on that site. ________________________________________ More Advanced Concepts (Culture, Globalizing, Planet, Solar System) Warning! If you shit yourself when thinking about things too hard DON'T READ THIS SECTION! Note: No, I of course do not expect these concepts any time soon or at all! This is the "ADVANCED" section. These are idea's I will be putting out there to the general public. This is more for those who take interest in thinking "bigger" or give reasonable alternatives to help make some of these ideas easier to achieve. Culture and History of Identity - Story line of it's history and how it became of modern day civilization. Have a historic museum solely about Identity and where things started. For example "Massive stone statues were carved 10000s of years ago this is what they look like" then you can throw in if Identity will become a "Planet" within some kind of solarsystem. If you guys will add that some day waaaaaaaay into the future you could add in some aliens. You could base it all off of earth's stuff but make it as if you're creating your own civilization. (To me what's the fun in exploring something I already know in the real world? That's what I love about videogames. Their creativity, difference, and similarities.) By giving addition to the "Culture" of identity and what the different cultures could inherit, you can add in a whole lot of other fascinating things with your own choice of design. For example you could create a "Yik yik" fruit native to the "Orsik" people of "Juskar" which live high in the frosted mountains and "Yik yik" is a yellowish pink star shaped fruit that grows off a tree that looks like a "Lepidodendron" tree that has gone extinct in our world. For now the real world is a very good template to copy off of before expanding far off into this more abstract realm of creativity. Human Advancement - As years (or "x" amount of time) go by for this game, you could give it a "new era" where it surpasses the modern era into a futuristic era. When town square becomes more "of the past" thing and is considered a historic momentum to be preserved. That would be fascinating. Evolving all the architecture into something more "futuristic" looking for some areas while preserving others for other players to maintain. Then you could have pockets of people who enjoy the modern era and be considered almost like "meditates" to those who want to embrace the more "futuristic" era of the video game. You can constantly evolve the game at whatever pace you wish. Just look up "Pre War Exploration - Fallout 4" to see designs. Space Exploration - Space exploration, like a NASA site. Launch rockets & satellites, into orbit. Travel out on a spaceship (again if you wish to use the "human advancement idea" you can evolve those rocket ships into something more practical. Plasma ships. Creating a sun to harvest plasma. ect. ) go out and travel to the moon, or other "planets", Identity could even have 2 moons! Here is what it would look like if Saturn was much closer to earth. A Bigger Planet - Here is just a tip to Dev's "You don't need to worry about the size of your planet." It can be extremely tiny so long as it is a planet, this would let you guys continue on into the solar system development, THEN you could create an entirely new planet much bigger for players to go to, just have a bridge between the two planets and make up some random history that this other planet happened to fly out of it's solar system and conveniently stopped close by to the original planet. You could even make it a huge event for players to build the bridge! Then if players no longer need the old planet you can destroy it. To destroy your old planet make raiding ALL things readily available! Have a nuclear fallout! Put up warning signs for players to move over to the NEW planet so the old planet becomes a wasteland, dangerous, and apocalyptic land! Throw all your garbage on the old planet! Continue to explore the old planet! Have the old planet become a 24/7 PVP zone! The idea's are endless and wonderful! So only the mighty can continue to explore the old land for undiscovered and abandoned treasures!

I know there was a soccer ball in the YouTube video about home customization, but to what extent will we be able to play full blown organized sports? I'd love to spend a couple of hours at the baseball diamond or soccer field with my friends.
-
I was wondering if sports will be an option for a career. Like could a person play football, futbol, tennis, lacrosse, etc. I think this would be a great idea allowing players to become sports stars along with sport announcers. They could have stadiums and whatnot. I would love for this to be a thing. :)\ -VaxJezus

We look forward to putting on action packed fights for the citizens of Identity.

A Good idea would to add in basket ball courts where you can play chilled out games like in nba 2k its called mypark and would seem a good idea in a game like this, also other ideas could be boxing gyms or gyms in general. A Good way for this game to be free would be the idea of organised crime like drug dealing, smuggling and good transport would be a very effective way to get money, make a name for your self and bring heat to the game. This would bring many other aspects to the game and would make full effectives of the games police officers and also meaning of power trying to control the map.
-
Can you consider adding sports like soccer 1 basketball 2 football 3. And also can you make the teams and leagues player managed and owned. Full customization of uniforms stadium ticket prices you can watch game at the arena or television or pc. Different arenas so forth.

I have recently heard of this game and have been psyched ever since. I've been waiting for a game like this all of my life but no one has ever been able to deliver. Identity has the best chance of making my dream game come true so I desperately hope at least some of my suggestions can be implemented in the game. 1) Freedom of Choice: This is the most important aspect of the game I'm looking forward to. I've always wanted to play a game that is focused mainly on the Sims aspect of real life as opposed to a game like GTA 5 that is basically just a game focused on criminality with limited option to do anything else. I want to have the freedom to lead my own life without being forced to engage in any type of activity. I know Identity is being built mainly as a police/criminal type of game but the ability to add non-criminal gameplay in addition to the detailed Sims aspect of the game makes this game ideal. My main suggestion here is please focus more on the non-criminal aspect of the game, try to make non-police non-criminal aspects/activities/careers of the game just as detailed and comprehensive if possible. 2) Realism: Realism is another big issue for me, making the game as real as possible would be perfect. My suggestions here are making the day/night cycle much longer than in GTA 5. You want to really enjoy each time of day without it passing by in just a few short minutes. I wouldn't even mind having to wait for my character to sleep for a decent while at nights if that's what it takes. I understand some players may not want this so having different servers with different settings could accommodate all types of players. Other suggestions are realistic walking/running speed unlike GTA 5 where first person mode always had you running. Realistic stamina so you wouldn't be able to run indefinitely like in GTA 5. Realistic season changes if possible. Realistic trash/waste/dirt forcing the player to do regular cleanup of the house/office, putting out trash, and washing clothes/etc. Bigger city sizes: if possible please make the cities bigger than Los Santos in GTA 5. Though Los Santos had a decent size a bigger city would be a lot more immersive and fun especially with lots of available activities. 3) Careers/Jobs: Please try to add as many different jobs/careers as possible. This is extremely important in giving the player freedom of choice and lots of options to explore. It will really increase the game's replayability. Here're some suggestions: - Doctor: Instead of having an EMT that heals players it would be a lot more fun if you had an ambulance driver who'd delivery emergency patients to a hospital where a player doctor would do the healing/surgery/etc. The doctor could take care of both "dead"/severely injured players as well as treat regular patients with common sicknesses. - Financial manager: Someone who will invest/trade for other players assuming there will be a decent and dynamic stock/commodity exchange in the game. - Garbage man: Assuming there would be trash in the game, waste management worker(s) could take everyone's trash once a week using a garbage truck. - Postal worker: Instead of delivering mail directly have a post office where the post office worker receives and delivers all player mails. - Regular office work that could somehow relate to other aspects/jobs in the game (examples> DMV where players would need to renew their registration/license/get car inspections/etc. Insurance worker, realtor, accountant, etc.) - Hotel manager: Assuming there will be hotels/motels where players could stay when out of town. - News reporter/anchor: You could be a reporter or anchor either filming real in game events or reporting on them, could include weather, business, and sports news as well. - Cook: With real cooking where you'd have to correctly use ingredients and process them correctly, etc. - Gym trainer: Where you help people in the gym. This could give a strength boost to the player working out giving them results faster so they'd have an incentive to hire a trainer. - Lawn maintenance: Where you have to maintain people's lawns and landscape - Cleaning service: Where you clean other players' houses, businesses, yachts, etc. - Regular jobs like managing a store/business, attending doors, bouncer, farm worker, assistant of all types, security, dog walking, etc. Some of these jobs can also be done by AI in the absence of players. 4) Activities: Please for the love of god include A LOT of activities in this game. One of the biggest let downs of GTA 5 was that it had a big map with very little to do. Almost none of the buildings could be entered and a lot of easily programmable activities were not included. Here're my suggestions in this area: - Allow players to enter/explore as many buildings as possible even if they're not directly related to the game. - Allow players to interact with as many things as possible, little things add up and go a long way to significantly increase immersion, a lot of it is easily programmable. In GTA 5 for example they had built a theme park but you could only do two quick activities there even though the structure for much more games/rides/activities were already built. - Sports: Soccer and basketball are the two most important but any additional ones would be welcome. Sports should include skill levels that increase the more you play. Your stamina/endurance/strength would also affect your performance. - Snow/ice activities/sports like hockey, skating, snowboarding, skiing, or just sliding down the mountain on a sled. - Public swimming, tanning, spa, billiards (pool), air hockey, arcade games, cycling, jogging, hiking, camping, kite flying, frisbee, flying drones (with camera if possible), etc. - An extensive gym system with lots of available machines/free weights/treadmills/etc. requiring a player to go through a decent routine and spend some time there regularly to become fit. 5) Businesses: Once again it would be great if you could include as many businesses as possible, some could require a direct player involvement, some could be done by AI. Here're some suggestions: - Parking Garage/Lot: Someplace players can park their cars for a fee, great for busy locations with limited parking space! - Laundromat: Where players can have their clothes washed - Restaurants and cafes - Bars, clubs, and lounges - Internet cafes - Malls, regular stores of all types - Car washes and auto shops - Tanning salons, spa, barber shops, arcades, etc. 6) Other: - College/University: Perhaps you'd need to get a degree for certain jobs like medicine where you're required to sit in long/boring lectures every day for some time before you're qualified. This will ensure only patient/interested players could go through the process to get the job same as real life. - Park-o-meter on some locations? - Online business rating where players can rate businesses. This will ensure the businesses who do a good job get more clients just like in real life. - Game events have consequences in different areas. For example if there is going to be a dynamic stock exchange a business/corporation performance will have affect on its stock price. Or commodity prices fluctuate based on weather/in game events/etc. - Car GPS has real GPS sound with directions not just a line on a map. - There should be AI in the absence of players. If a players is not available to attend a business/job an AI should replace his role. You shouldn't go to an empty business/store/etc. Also some AI could be added to increase population density and have them do boring mundane work regular players wouldn't do. - Video games: There could be video games in the game, you could play on your phone, computer, or in an arcade/internet cafe. 7) Flying: I know this is probably not going to be in the game initially but I think this is too important a field to be completely left out. Perhaps after the initial release when you work on adding even more size to the map you could introduce flying. This game just won't be complete without the ability to fly and it would add an extremely fun career of being a pilot. I've heard there's a plan to double the map's size by adding another island in future DLCs, you could then introduce airports and give the player the ability to travel to the other island by air. Please don't rule out this feature.
