suggestions Character customisation/in-game changes
NoGutsNoXP posted a topic in Ideas & Suggestions
Hi, I was just wondering whether something like this was implemented or planned to be implemented into the game. A lot of the issues I find with games like this, are that they lack some depth within the characters themselves, especially in-game. I've seen previews of the characters customisation menu and i haven't seen any options pertaining to body-type/ build? I'd find the game a lot more interesting if something like that were to be added, as it would make customisation more realistic and would allow you to create a more diverse population of people and people could also replicate themselves as an in-game character more accurately. If this isn't something you'd add to the character customisation menu, maybe allow it to be done over time in-game? e.g, eating excessively causes weight gain, training at a gym increases muscle mass etc. I believe adding such realistic options to the game adds more depth overall and would really make it interesting to me. thanks for listening, personally i think options like this would be quite immersive, adding such a high level of detail and customisation really creates a life-like game.- 1 reply

Hello! Just as a foreword, this is a roleplaying thread. I would hope most would be familiar with how role play works but; I will start with a brief description of my character and placement in the identity world, but lets see where it goes! Purely set this board up for character development, networking and hashing out relationships before we get into the game itself. Enjoy x Setting: Coffee Shop Ryver; an auburn haired mid thirty, pondered over the contents of a criminal file. Delicately stirring her morning coffee, the room filed with busy people, with busy lives all individually not taking a blind bit of notice of each other. She sighed and glanced away for a moment, catching a reflection of herself in her smartphone she thought, if anyone could even deduce at this point that she came from 'a cult' upbringing in Arizona. Wearing her grey designer dress and sling back stilettos, she was a shadow of herself. She retained her free spirit and tenacity to right the injustice's in the world but she knew she had to conform, her one small token to her past was a woven bracelet in muted tones in the colours of her family. Red for love, green for peace and yellow for happiness, the pillars of their belief system.. Although she hadn't spoken to her family for some time. Snapping back to the problem at hand, the file. It was missing most of any hard evidence, she knew this would be a tough one to swing...

It's been a busy, eventful and productive month for the Identity team at Asylum! Only a few weeks ago we released our first video showing real in-game content, the player housing system, and Identity has gotten a good bit of much-needed exposure! If you haven't seen the video, visit Identity's YouTube channel. Our programmers, especially Henrik Sonesson, have upgraded our inventory mechanics and created two new important gameplay systems these last weeks. The library which you'll have access to in the Town Square module is now in place and functional. Players can both read public domain classic books in-game, or even write their own and submit them to the library for other players to read. In addition, the NPC shop systems are now in place. When you enter most shops you'll be able to find the items you need on racks or displays around the store. Grab what it is you're looking for and then make your way to the cash register to make the purchase. In some places you can preview the items you're holding even before buying; for example, in a clothing store you can go into a change room. This system even allows for shoplifting some items, although player-crafted or very expensive items cannot be shoplifted on official servers. On the art front, we've brought on new artists and are continuing to build the world you'll be exploring. We've also been focusing on the interiors of buildings and characters. We've gotten our first facial hair assets and are approaching a complete character customization system. An overhaul of character skin and hair has Identity's characters looking incredibly life-like in comparison to other MMORPGs. Next on that list for a re-work is the eyes.

Number of Characters
Valtorix posted a question in Tourism (Q&A)
I searched the forum and didn't find anything. Will we be able to create more than one character on a single server? Or will we be limited to one? I want to assume we're allowed more than one, but I'm not entirely sure. -
I'm not sure where to post this so I'm posting it here! I was wondering if there was any extra info on character customization. I love RP games where you can make your own character and make them look as unique as possible. So I just have a few questions when it come to the extend of making your character: 1. Will there be set number of facial features (kinda like on IMVU where you buy different eyes, lips, head shape etc and combine them)? Or will there be sliders where you pick a default then rotate, enlarge/shrink, color etc.? (I hope there are sliders kinda like in Sims 4 because that gives players an opportunity to make unique looking characters) 2. Will players be able to own beauty shops where people can go just for customization. Like will I be able to make custom hair, eyes, nails, skin etc? 3. What will be the range of colors, especially for skin tones? Is there a limited selection on colors or is it more of a color wheel situation? Thank you in advance for any answers I get

Hey all. EDIT: Also the modules. I'm considering purchasing the passport that grants you beta access but I'm not sure yet as I have this question. In many games that have a beta testing period you can make a character but once the full game is released, that character is deleted. Will this be the case in Identity? So if I made a character in beta would it be deleted when the full game is released? Thanks~

Will we be able to have multiple characters or will I have to have 2 accounts. It would be cool both ways though. both characters will have no affiliation with each other in game. Thanks, Luca Santarelli
