Can you go to jail for singing bad in the karaoke bar?
NanoSpace replied to mrmccheesie's topic in The Town Square
I know, I'm talking about more along the lines of harassment and stuff so that people can feel safe during their sessions. -
I think with this type of public game it would benifit them to get it rated, hopefully they decide to do this later on.
-
So like, if they were to decide to make DLC later on, what type of theme change would you like to see?

I guess, but I still imagine it would be a good idea to have player mods to help out, especially when this game gets bigger. Bad PR is never good and if there is anyway to prevent it, it's always a good idea. -

If not arrested, then definitely there should be a system in place to allow mods/admins to do something with people being verbally abusive so that the servers can still be civilized and safe from verbal abuse. I already know that once this game comes out the trolls are going to flock here so fast, just thinking about gmod makes me shiver. -
I can understand the tenseness of this wait, I really hope they can get the information they need to make the decision in time to make the deadline they made for themselves. I believe this game is real, but in the past they have made claims to certain deadlines, and when they passed they didn't bring it up, which is a bit sad to see. I want them to prove me and everyone else with worries wrong this time, but as they say "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me"

I hope the low moderation on Official servers isn't a problem for very long once the game comes out, I feel like that would discourage people from playing on those servers, which would suck for the people who do... I feel like they would need to create a network of trusted people to become mods/admins so that many of the Official servers can get the moderation it needs to give a good PR image.

Was curious what people thought of a Switch version of Identity? The Switch is optimized for the engine that Identity is being built in and it would be mind blowing to have a game like this on the go. What do you guys think?
-
Yeah, watched it as well, was a pipe dream anyway, but hopefully technology catches up to my dreams, hehe. Also, the Nintendo Switch can run Unreal Engine 4, the main problem with this is because the switch doesn't have the ram or gpu power to run a game like Identity, but mobile technology has come a long way in such a short time, hopefully that trend continues. Also, as for the "family friendly" comment, games like L.A. Noire and DOOM as well as Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus are coming to the Switch, honestly Nintendo are trying to appeal to a more mature audience and hopefully they can continue to work on their image.

Hey, just curious about who is giving the moderators applications a try (including myself) and what you are looking forward to if chosen?
-
Then I guess I just gotta cross my fingers that they do good on optimization because my PC build is of medium quality?
-
Its runs fine on medium build PC's that can run GTA V and such. The Switch has Skyrim SE and Doom running on it, I think with some optimization it could possibly be playable While that is very much true, this won't, if it does happen, be for a few years if not more, hopefully Nintendo can fix up those problems but I can see how if they aren't that it won't come anywhere near the Switch

Let's try and promote Identity through the Reddit page

I believe that the devs have said in the past that they would consider doing consoles, but it would be after launch, which is what Beach told me they said and memory isn't a problem since the Switch supports micro sd cards up to 1tb.

At this point it would probably be incredibly hard to insert ourselves into a reddit like that, especially with that much hate towards the game. It would probably be better if we were to create our own sub reddit. Also, while the Office Tour video does show that they have an office, it doesn't necessarily show off the game, it can be used as an argument for it not being a scam, but because most people are usually cynics on the internet, you should probably add a bit more examples with it -
From what I've seen, the survival rate for a headshot wound is 5% while the good quality of life rate after such an event is 3%.

In the post it tells you to message ether @LuckyDuck or @HairyGrenade with the guidelines of the post.

You should ask them if app development for phones and computers is a thing in the game. Don't think that's ever been asked before.
