I stumbled on this game by sheer accident. Was watching some random youtube video, only marginally paying attention when a snippet about this game came up. I'm glad i checked it out, but i've not seen it mentioned in anything i've watched since.

I think it largely depends upon the success of the game and the cash shop. If it does well, then i'm sure the dev's will adhere to their tauted ideals. If however, they don't generate the anticipated financial return, i'm certain they will be less idealistic about the content of said cash shop. I, of course, mean no disrespect to the devs, but i've seen a number of games say one thing, then have to change direction to generate income.

When it's ready. I have not seen an E.T.A., but i don't expect it'll be a terribly long wait.

Currently, i'm on the forums a lot, but there's not really a lot of activity as of yet, so there's not much to really respond to. In time though, i expect to see the forum bustling with activity.

As a long time player of APB: Reloaded, i really enjoy hanging out the window of a cop car, shooting at the criminals amid sirens and flashing lights. That being said, i don't really think people would use such a mechanic responsibly. As it says in the Bible: It is easier for a camel to fit through the eye a needle than for a gamer to not abuse a game mechanic.

This is something they should definitely be working on. More marketing = more exposure = more money.

Just had a random thought. What kind of shops will players be able to run? I'd like to see a bakery that gives out donuts and coffee to cops. Would increase police presence in that area, keeping crime down. Whole circle of life goodness.

I too would like to be able to shoot from vehicles, but i've been around enough to know there are too many assclowns that would abuse the mechanic in every way imaginable. So, with regret, i have to agree that it's probably best to not have it on official servers.

Well, while i plan to play a law-enforcement person, and will of course comply with the rules and regulations therein (mostly), i have no desire to build a character around it. I will simply be a guy that plays a cop IN a game rather than "Bob the Cop," OF the game.

You might get a better response if you were more polite. As in, "Would you please release a video explaining how elections for President or Prime Minister are going to work? Also, can you please explain how prospective home owners can begin the process of purchasing their new abode?"

I don't know what RDM/VDM is, explain? 1. I'd also like to know about cheating (mods, hacks, scripts, etc), and the Dev policy on this, as well as what's being done to combat it. It will happen, it always does. I've seen too many games simply ruined by this and the Dev's inability to properly combat the problem (if they even cared at all). 2. Regarding housing and real estate: Will we be able to just by a plot of dirt and build our own house on it to live in or sell/rent? 3. How will law enforcement be alerted to crimes? Example: Depending on server population, a few criminals could make short work of an area unless there are automated systems in place to notify law enforcement players that something is amiss. 4.a. Regarding the prison system. How are prison terms actually served? Can the convict simply log out and play other games while the sentence runs its course? 4.b. What about executions of criminals? Are inmates executed? If so, what happens to the PC? Do they just respawn at their apartment? Do they have to reroll an all new PC? 5. How are rerolls handled? As in, can we respec skills, change appearance and/or gender, etc?
