How much gb is the game going to be expected.
LuckyDuck replied to Emiellio11's topic in The Town Square
If you are going to keep looking for size, then I advice you to look at a later date, I mean after we have maybe all 3 modules because that is the best time to get a accurate answer, but it is however your choice. -
I'm new! (sorry if you've answered this 100 times)
LuckyDuck replied to RampageAU's question in Tourism (Q&A)
Ok, yes you are right it has been answered many times, but anyways I am happy to help. Beta is not due until after the 3 modules and so it will be about next year Q1 or Q2 time. The 3 modules are known more to be Alpha stages. The first module was delayed if you look at the 5th dev blog which was sent out via email in march to backers. The percentage bar for the first module is 89% but that is manually updated and only is updated when the developers feel like they have hit a milestone in development. I hope this helps, but you can also go and check out the 2 FAQ's for a lot more answers to questions. -
There could be a guide but what is the fun in that? I would love to be guessing my way through cooking it instead of reading a guide but that is my opinion; however it could be a guide made by the devs in-game or a community made guide done on steam. I have no clue.

just go sign in the shop and it shows you the price difference instead of the price without a package.

Capped that info on the day/ night ratio was confirmed on twitter ages ago, also was said on discord too I believe and maybe even a interview somewhere. and also it will take roughly 1hr 30 mins to walk the whole island as it was said also in the same places before. You can upgrade your package and you will only have to pay the difference of what the other package is; for example I have the $250 pledge, my upgrade costs $250.

You will have to by the RV which then you can stop anywhere and have it as a Meth Lab (When a meth lab RV cannot be driven) then you have to go buy the ingredients where you then put them in and cook it. up and a possibility of something going wrong if you put wrong ingredients in.

Ask the devs! Exclusive Q&A with the Identity developers
LuckyDuck replied to Woritmor's topic in The Town Square
yes that is the correct term, you have to pay tax to keep your house and for cars, you have to pay insurance if you don't want to lose the car completely if it gets destroyed in an accident etc. But don't think taxes for the car no. Boats might have to have insurance or taxes i am not sure. -
Clarification on what can be done in Town Square Module
LuckyDuck replied to Ryan0714's topic in The Town Square
The first module is only a social module and no jobs will be available in it. This module is so that the backers can try out different social things while they wait and also maybe meet new players and have a laugh for instance singing on the karaoke stage with friends, watch things together in the cinema. Trying the customisation's for the apartments. Painting, writing a book etc. Here is a link with more details as I may have got some examples wrong. http://www.identityrpg.com/info/modules/townsquare/ The point of early access is so you can enjoy some parts of the game while you wait. After the Social module, shortly or soon after there will be the S.W.A.T. module and then lastly the racing module. Beta is where we will get the first chance of a job likely.- 1 reply

Because No one decides to search first, and so it causes the forum to clutter making the searching harder to find specific posts.
-
They will see what they can do but like it is said, private server owners maybe will have an option to disable it.
-
You can have 2 characters I believe and that you will only be able to play as one at any given time. So you can log in as one but to play as the other then you have to log out and log in with the other.

Ask the devs! Exclusive Q&A with the Identity developers
LuckyDuck replied to Woritmor's topic in The Town Square
If you buy a house, you pay something every so often to keep the house and so that is why I may just use the term as "rent". -
How much gb is the game going to be expected.
LuckyDuck replied to Emiellio11's topic in The Town Square
Well I can say no one really knows how big it is going to be because the game is not even half way finished and so really there is no way to tell. However it probably won't be as big as GTA because there is no "Single player or as many AI/ they are not roaming". I will guess around the same as what @Dahoom152 said; 30 - 50 GB but I could be wrong. -
House ownership and renting
LuckyDuck replied to Dahoom152's question in Tourism (Q&A)
There won't be 300 homes if the player count is 300 and so houses depend on player count but they won't consist of the same numbers because that means the houses won't be unique or worth as much to people as they would if there is a small limit and like double or so players to houses, but yes with you can own 1 and rent that 1 out. However apartments likely will be able to be rented out in a different way if not the same way. -
House ownership and renting
LuckyDuck replied to Dahoom152's question in Tourism (Q&A)
I would say it means you can only rent 1 house at a time but I could be wrong, however you can rent your apartments I am sure. -
will killing players drop loot?
LuckyDuck replied to BlazinBender's question in Tourism (Q&A)
This has been answered many times before, but here is the answer: What ever you are carrying will be lost except for clothing and your Mobile. So if you have cash on you it can get stolen, same with guns and other items of value but not sure what other things have been confirmed. -
Hello @BlazinBender Welcome to the community! Enjoy your stay and check out the 2 FAQ's for more Awesome info! Nice to meet you and enjoy the rest of the day. Best regards, LuckyDuck.

On official servers it will likely be the chief being a dev and also you only progress through the ranks if you do your job well as it is all automated and no one selects who ranks up etc. However private servers can appoint who they want and such.

This comes under the same category as pretty much building buildings, which unfortunately is not on the plans in the development of the game. I would love it too, but it won't happen any time soon and so all houses are set out how they are in the map already/ how the devs make them.
-
It could be possible in the future maybe but not before the full release or even at full release as that is not as essential as other features.
-
To clear things up, The modules are set to release this year after being delayed and the first module was delayed from early 2017 and we are still waiting but it is set to release soon. The second module won't take as long as the first one and then the 3rd module will be released either in late this year or early 2018 with the beta shortly after that module. Then if all bugs and fixes have been complete then the game will release after that, which could be Q2 2018 or as late as Q4 2018 if no problems occur and no more delays happen.
-
There will be no camera/ recording objects like that in the game because they are heavy networking objects and take up too much resources; however unfortunately it is not on the agenda for the future and so YT is the way you have to go. I would love this as much as you and I would love to see the devs change there minds! There won't be a electronics store a such I believe but I don't think they have mentioned about it not being a possibility in the future, just don't hold your breath on it being something.

All options of pledges give you the full game at full release and the $30 (Founder) pledge or above gives you access to the modules, beta and the full release + extras.

Player Loyalty Complications
LuckyDuck replied to URSAMAJOR03's question in Tourism (Q&A)
I believe if the person has not completed a job, they will not get paid for it and so to be paid the job/ content has to be delivered in this case.
