In the game, you have to make yourself known! A sea server? I don't believe they will get a server in a region which won't be popular. They will likely cater to Australia, Europe, and the US but I could be wrong to not say they might cater to Asia and other regions too.

If you want to be famous, then you have to make yourself known in Identity! There is a concert hall you can also hire out and change the theme on!

Hello and Welcome to the community! Please take a browse on the 2 FAQ's which are linked in my signature. Hope to see you in the game some time. Best Regards, LuckyDuck.

You won't be able to upload or import things into the game unfortunately and so you have to do things in the game, maybe write stuff up and then go and play / sing etc.
-
It won't be a job, as it is an extra and so it is up to the player to charge etc to receive money for playing or singing.

Hello and Welcome to the Identity community! Please feel free to have a look at the 2 FAQ's I have linked in my signature as they have a lot of great info I expect you don't want to miss. Remember the Full game is heavily discounted at this point and in a couple months when the Town Square Module releases that will change. If you don't like the little information we get and cannot be patient, I will advise you not to pledge because delays are inevitable and at the end of the day it is good to have a delay to make sure the modules, beta and game are complete and polished to their fullest potential. I hope this advice helps and I am sure you won't regret it. I hope and wish you well and also if you do buy in the beta and modules I hope to see you there. Have fun choosing if you want to help/ wait for something and hope you make the decision which makes you happy. Best Regards, LuckyDuck.

GTA money is easily got, and this game will have it a lot harder than that. You could be earning $20 for every in-game hour and right now that would be for every 10 minutes real life time is 1 hour in game. So you will get $120 for 1 real life hour with $20 as the hourly rate as an example. So if you 3 hours then you will make $360 in game. If you want to earn more than $1k then you need to work 9 hours real time to get $1080 in game. That to me is going to be hard enough to make / earn a lot of money. So for every 45 hours real time you will earn a total of $5400 if you earn $20 per in game hour. Ok, so at a $20 rate, if you want a car you will need roughly $30,000 and so to earn $32,400 you need to work for 270 hours real time.

The full customisation options won't be shown until Full Game Release but you will know/ see some of it in the Town Square Module.

The interface/software that allows us to make products
LuckyDuck replied to Curivity's topic in The Town Square
Hello, So the design tool in game for clothing is that you will be able to add shapes and other assets given in game to design the clothing with nothing being able to get imported/ exported etc. I don't have a clue on how many different objects can be designed but designing cars is not something, however there is a possibility of manufacturing them but "Car Dealerships" are AI/ NPC owned and not player owned in which is for very good reasoning. Wigs, I have heard nothing on them to even be in the game and so I wonder if they would ever be. I hope this helps a little bit and I am sorry to say there is not too much info on these things. Best Regards, LuckyDuck. -
No houses will be buy'able with "Real Life Money" maybe an apartment but not a house to keep them unique/ worked for.

I was giving an example. A phone could cost a lot more yes but they also can cost as much as a shirt. The price range can differ a lot and also that is for both clothes and phones.

Using popular streamers to get Identity out there
LuckyDuck replied to Whitefeather's topic in Hangout
They can't ask for money from game devs because the devs don't exactly say please can you stream but they say "You can stream" if you want to. If a streamer is streaming a game that they like, it is because they like it and well it is there choice to do it. Anyways, yes you can watch streams on the in-game TV (and no that wouldn't count as breaking a rule like meta-gaming in my opinion.) In general if a streamer helps the a game out, it is generally a choice they make and are not forced to make it, therefore won't get money for it because they didn't get asked to do it. I do think people could start asking for money as they help games when streaming. -
Ok, right the way in game money will work is the $1 in game will be like a $1 in real life and you will get things costing closely to real life e.g. a house will cost $100,000 or more etc. A T-shirt may cost $30 and phones may cost like $100 or so for a new model. Everything will be as close to real life as possible and so in that case it will be hard to make money in the game.
-
yes, you can also go and buy a net to catch fish and sell the fish and then buy a fishing rod because you won't likely have enough money to get a fishing rod straight away.
-
You will likely start with $50 or $100 which would be enough to get you started, but it would not likely be more because it would take the point out of the higher pledge tiers.
-
They would have to pay to use real brands and so no. If they however did get permission for free without anything to give in return then I am sure they would use them but that would not happen without a price and so it won't happen.

Kidnapping
LuckyDuck replied to YaLocalOreo's question in Tourism (Q&A)
Well you will be able to ziptie a person and then take him somewhere etc. but it will be more an extra not a mechanic and so RP will be involved likely if two players want to do that.- 1 reply

Real talk, Crimes Needs to Be Scary And Risky.!!
LuckyDuck replied to BillyTheKid's topic in The Town Square
The jail time is set to 45 mins for testing reasons as of now but will and could be more than a couple of hours depending on what the developers feel is good enough + 1 hour is nothing and so if you want people to break you out then it will surely be only worth it if the prison time was more than a couple hours. -
Well the devs said a couple of months on stream and so they would not have said that if they said another thing to psisyn.

S.W.A.T. module
LuckyDuck replied to Greenrj73's question in Tourism (Q&A)
It will be players likely as no roaming AI/ NPC's + it is a competitive module and so you won't be against AI/ NPC's with that. -
Yes, that is correct and that means that the racing module won't hit the initial 2017 release because it will take time for the devs to perfect it and also because unforeseen problems which could occur along the way too but generally it will be much better.

English: They will only make the prices dearer and not cheaper because they are already cheap as it is already, if you want it as cheap as it is now then pledge but if you wait until after the first module or for full release the price will increase heavily.

Can you be a Lawyer within the game?
LuckyDuck replied to Beany's question in Tourism (Q&A)
Yes you can. -
They will add other forms of payment methods in the future but not likely to be before the first module releases however it is unknown to when there will be more payment methods.
