For the pledge apartments, if you decorate it on official server 1 and then go on official server 2 as the other one is full, you have to start over with the decorating that pledge apartment. The devs want to allow pledges to go on all servers including private servers. On Official servers, if you own a house on server 1 you won't own it on server 2. Apartments on pledges will be available over all servers. If private servers are able to get a shared database like your example @brians999, it won't be the same as what you want e.g. If you own a house on server 1 then that same house is not owned by you on server 2. Houses are limited and that means if you own a house on server 1 then no one else can buy that house on server 2 which is why on server 2 you have to re-buy the house to own it on there.

The pledge cars will have car insurance for them instantly, but it could be for a short or long time period before you need to pay for it etc. -

They initially wanted to get 300 players per server but they have the potential to go bigger, as the technology allows them from partnering with SpartialOS. Official servers will have some things connected (A database which connects character stuff) e.g. if you are wanted by the police on one official server then it applies to all of them. Private servers are separate and privately rented by players. The private servers are in no way connected to other servers. There is no hacker Job. 1. Bank robbery will sort of work like PayDay 2 etc. 2. No hacker job. -
Each server has it's own world. Official servers however will have some things connected to each other official server. The community private servers are not in anyway connected to any other server.
-
Well it is how they have decided to do it and it looks as if it is a decision already made but it don't matter as we can rent servers at least. Also The servers will be hosted by the server providers that they choose.

I agree with what @TheNerdyChef said above. I don't think it will be added but it would be cool. -
S.W.A.T. cannot drop the gear on the ground and no one can take the gear as it will be abused.
-
Yes, maybe but it won't work with the way their network is set up and so renting a server is the only option.
-
No, no one else can get their hands on the police gear.

I have no clue and know nothing more than anyone else does about them. -
Commercial buildings and other buildings

I believe that warehouses can be owned by business' and probably an office building could possibly be an option for business' also. Junk yard's not that I know of and same with parking lots. -
No NV goggles, but for cops and s.w.a.t. the gear is customisable

@hightowermusic Hey, as far as refunds go and to the purchase of the game. In-fact you are donating (Pledging) right now to help the dev fund this game and make it reality. The devs are refunding those who ask before the first module is out but really don't have to as you are donating and they are giving you items/ the game as a thank you for helping them out in the very early stages. After the first module releases they likely won't give the refunds but that is not a certain answer and so it is really down to them if they close the refund option. There will be no subscription for the game and if you pledge, $15 or more now you will get the Passport (Full Game) and anything else if it states it. The 3 Modules are an Alpha stage; 1st Module, the Town Square also known as the social Module will include your apartment if you have one but will not include the money as it is not needed in the module as everything will be free as of then to test. Cars will not be featured until the 3rd and Final module and that is when you will be able to test and view your pledge vehicle if anything. The pledge items will be available in Beta and then will be available in the Full game as all progress before full release will be reset. As for age, you cannot have a kid/ teen avatar and it will be only an adult one. You can make your avatar look old but no kid avatars. You can role-play as someones else's grown-up kid/ (Adult). The game will be age rated 18+ If you look at the Apartment customisation video, you would see that they show off 3rd person view a little.

Servers options
LuckyDuck replied to TraxxasBoy520's question in Tourism (Q&A)
Hey there, I can tell you can only rent servers and you cannot host servers locally, on a dedicated server or such. You will be likely able to change the starting money amount but you will not be able to spawn money. I hope this helps. LuckyDuck. -
You can join the police force likely at BETA to properly play; however the second module will allow you to play a competitive mode of Cop vs Robbers.
-
Modules(Alpha) are standalone pieces of the actual game but can run on there own. 1st being the Town Square (Social Module), 2nd being the S.W.A.T. Module (A competitive cops vs robbers module) and finally the racing module which will be on the race tracks which will be in the full game. All of these features are apart of the full game but are just standalone parts as of now and would be put together with more features creating the Beta, which will be the closest thing to the full game.

It is a person who bends around the law in most cases and are considered criminals in the TV show "Arrow". There will be not a feature/ mechanic for this and yes you can do it but, you will be considered a criminal. You won't get hand cuffs or tasers etc as they will get abused if given the chance. The police are there to do that work and so if you do go and do something like that, be prepared to be arrested if you get caught. Vigilantes are considered a criminal.

You can write a blog/ post or something into the newspaper but not sure if a magazine or such will be in the game but newspapers are confirmed.
-
@SmashUp Would be a great addition! I am not sure about this as it has not been mentioned.

The Car dealerships are NPC owned I believe but you will be able to buy and sell your own cars likely.

Night Vision Goggles For Police Officers
LuckyDuck replied to JessicaMadisyn's topic in Ideas & Suggestions
Most areas will be lit up by street lights, a "Torch/ Flashlight" is what a police officer would be using.
