That is a estimated time frame, I said it wasn't a release date and it wasn't an Official release date which I clearly stated there has only been 2 Official release dates given. Estimates are estimates because they are more than likely going to be missed but those who give estimates usually calculate the time frame but are not sure.

Yeah, I know and they made the mistake of that, however they did only have 3 devs in the first year, they also had to redo the Town Square 2 times causing more disruption in development, They also had to redo all UI because the software was discontinued of updates and was useless when upgrading the game engine. 3 things which they didn't account for back then, also they only had the kickstarter funds as funding. Also they didn't realise how hard it would be and so they thought it was enough and so they made that mistake. We all make mistakes. Yes, they have that guideline for a very good reason indeed, but does it take 2 years to make a Triple A Game, no. In fact most games start a year in development before kickstarting the game, but that means they have previous/ little funding before it. Asylum, never had funding before their kickstarter and so they started at the very beginning when they got that funding. That is what they did wrong IMO but then again everyone has a different situation. Kickstarter states projects may surpass the timeline. Look, Did Star Citizen deliver while having the most funding a kickstarter ever got? They delivered late I believe and they did delay some modules also. You back a kickstarter project not buy and so you back a Idea, a dream, something you would love to see. Yes games always surpass the kickstarter usually even when they start there development a year before which gives them 3 years. This one had 2 and if a kickstarter game surpasses the 2 years even with that extra year, you should expect one with development starting at the end of kickstarter. Yeah, and so who's right is it to delay it? If the backers get that choice then we would have a broken Early access game basically because no one really has patience and wants games when they're not ready. Also 2 years isn't "Forever" and them delaying it was not for their sole benefit but for the benefit of the community and game also. No, the tracker is up to date and will be completed once they submit the build to steam for review if anything. Also they updated it everyday but it only changed visually when they had completed a task fully. Yes it is hasn't been updated for ages because people also complained that there was no visual change. Estimates are not release dates unless it contains the full date: Day/Month/Year Estimates are not release dates. Does it include the Day, Month and Year? Nope, it is not a release date.

LuckyDuck replied to Rockzz's topic in Private Server Discussion
Hello @rockzzAnd welcome. I hope all goes well with your community. However just remember there won't be any Private servers until the full game release and not at The Town Square modules launch. Well anyways good luck and hope the community is successful! Regards, LuckyDuck -
Kickstarter projects only allow Maximum 2 year deadline and so the devs had 0 choice on when they got to estimate it then unless in a 2 year period. My point exactly is that it was not their fault that they could not increase the time line on it. That being said my opinion is they had 2 delays only because of that. However okay, it technically is a delay but having a estimate is not a guarantee

You cannot get a delay if there is no date and so Only 2 dates meaning only 2 delays in the case of "Official release dates that were promised. There were no Other Time frames of promises.
-
That stuff is for the full game release and it would be on quantity but no that information will be closer to the full game. We are coming to the first Module not the full game.
-
Yes, you will have the NPC drug dealers to sell to while also being able to sell and buy off players. You can buy off the NPC too.
-
You got the source from someone who wanted to help and that same clip is what Michael was talking about. There is no need to block people who want to help out. Just Michael didn't have the clip at hand and so someone else decided to provide it for you which is nothing unreasonable.

So basically the full game experience will be around beta which is after the 3 Modules. The Town Square module has no economy, not Jobs or anything other than Social aspects of the game. The S.W.A.T. Module will give a competitive 5 v 5 or so game play experience and then it wil;l be the racing module. Beta will include all of this and more being the closest thing to the full game which includes jobs, / open world and that also includes the full game map size.

It wasn't Motown, it was Paratus (John), the guy he shoots is Motown.

There were only 2 postponed releases and so you saying always don't make sense because they only gave 2 Official release dates which were March 21st 2018 and April 23rd 2018....

This game is inspired by the Asylum Life: Altis Life server on ArmA 3 and Also the Gmod RP mode PERP! The difference is that the mods are limited to just what they are "Mods" and this is will allow for a lot more features as it is not limited to the ArmA engine or the map size which Gmod allows for. A standalone allows for a lot more than just a mod.

Hey, what do you mean by this place? do you mean the community on this forum? This community Forum is for the upcoming game Identity RPG. You can find more info about the game on the following pages: Identity: About Identity: FAQ Identity: Modules There are 3 Modules, The first module is known as the Town Square or the Social Module. Module 2 is the S.W.A.T. Module and the third and final module is the Racing Module. After the 3 Modules, we will get the Beta, which will be feature complete when released, being the closest thing to the full game.

The steam keys are sent out in batches and so the first wave of keys has been already sent out. You should get your steam key within the next wave or so.

Remember, Town Square is the 1st Module and does not contain the full experience of the game, it is just a small piece of the full game.
-
The steam store will be published before the end of October, which then steam will takes a couple weeks to verify the application (Identity: Town Square.
-
No need to apologise, everyone makes mistakes. However no, the first one got pushed to the April one and that got pushed again. If you look at the latest dev blog: you will see that the store page will be published within October! We then have to wait for steam to approve the application on steam before the module can release. Yes, when I find out, I will happily notify you

It was cancelled and also I found that a lot of the rewards were copied and pasted from Identity's kickstarter reward list and changed slightly. it Also has something they copied and didn't change at all. https://gyazo.com/b6c3d47144de36389741201735627380 (Read what it says and then look at this) https://gyazo.com/c97eb955ef641738f649fd11db0f9a6d

The module/ game was never to be released in 2016, yes there was a estimate for then but that is all what Kickstarter allows for campaigns a maximum of 2 years. The module has only had 2 Official released dates and they were in 2018, 21st March and 23rd April. So my personal advice is if you are not sure/ scared then you should wait before you pledge until you are comfortable! However the bulk packages will soon be removed completely (Not sure when but I will try find out) and so only the individual packages will be available. Remember also that the game play you have seen is of a early developer build for the 1st Module. So this is how it works with the different things which will be released. Firstly there are 3 Modules; these 3 modules are 3 small standalone pieces of the full game. After the 3 Modules, is the BETA. The Beta will be the closest thing to the full game and will be feature complete. Module 1 - Town Square, this module is a social module and is the first module making it the base part of the game. You will be in a closed off Town Square with 30 - 50 players per server. Module 2 - S.W.A.T, this module is a competitive module based on different cops VS robber scenarios which could happen within the full game. This module will be like 5 v 5 team games. This is where you can get to try out and witness the gun mechanics within Identity. This module will be in development for the shortest time compared to the other modules. Module 3 - Racing, this module is where you get to race against friends or other players on some streets of Identity and different race tracks that can be found in Identity's full game! This module will allow you to try out the car mechanics and physics. After the 3 modules Beta will come. Beta is going to to be the closest thing to the full game, likely including the full game map, and will allow you to try all the main game mechanics like Jobs, cars, guns, careers, etc... in the open game world. Remember if you are not confident on the game, please wait before pledging.

It being published to steam, doesn't mean it releases then. It needs to be approved by steam and that can take a couple weeks.
-
No, they have always been focusing on it but streams take the last hour of the day and Sean is needed with focusing on the module too as he is not only taking the role of CM but is the Art Director too! 1 hour is a lot of time, which can be used to focus on the module IMO. The streams have only stopped for a few weeks until the Module is submitted to steam.

There are already bars, I believe some are ownable but not all are. No banks will be player owned nor will have jobs in them. However a player can create a business and act as if it was a bank rather and could always lend money for interest or look after other peoples money. No gas stations are ownable by players. Car dealerships are also Un-ownable It is already something you can do! I believe something has been said before, but the answer will be in the twitch clips directory. You can be a mechanic to repair cars...

This feature is out of the scope and so would come after the full game release if it was to be done.

1. The people who are complaining are the ones who will get their key in the next wave or so of keys, there were only 20,000 keys within the first batch of steam keys and to not stress the asylum servers, they are releasing the keys in batches rather than all at once. 2. The Modules are not Beta. This is the order; Module 1, Module 2, Module 3, then Beta, then Full game release. The 3 modules are small standalone pieces of the full game. It won't be seen in your library until the steam page is up I believe. Also you will be able to download the day it releases and not before the release. Seeing as I am giving you answers, I may as well give my Opinion on the game as a kickstarter backer not a moderator. So for one, I have been waiting since the beginning. I also backed/ the project Idea and have waited since, I did get a little disappointed when the module was delayed 2 times earlier this year but because I had waited 3 years at that point, there was no reason to give up. I have stuck with the project and I do know that games take a long time, they take longer than you think because companies with the funding don't announce the game until they are close to the finish line of development. I always believe in this team because they have the passion and will to make the game the way they vision it and not let a publisher or investor destroy the vision. They may take longer than other teams, but they have definitely kept the vision they started with. A rushed project is forever bad. Don't forget that the first year of development they had a 3 man team, they have reworked Town Square 2 - 3 times but we have nearly got the module with it's close release very near. The team is capable of completing this project.
