Games inside this game (Many ideas in one)
LuckyDuck replied to SkyH1gh's topic in Ideas & Suggestions
There won't be such a job in the game and it will be harder than what you think to implement something like that. Things in theory sound easy but really are difficult to pull off. There is no modding and the modding won't be until at least years after full game release. -
Not really an advantage. It is not much to start on. Every player will likely start with $100 or something likely the $4000, is not a big start and it won't get you far. It gives you a small head start yes, and same with the sports car will give you a small head start but it won't make a huge difference. Also the developers needed to give a little incentive for players to pledge $500 USD.
-
Prices will increase with the new website upgrade/ launch. Also some if not all pledge packages will either be gone or changed with prices or Items/ rewards. The new website/ upgrade is set to take place before or by the modules release. We will give a warning to everyone before it happens.

What happens when you die? How long are you dead? This should come up with some realistic thing that makes it a necessity to avoid dying. 1. You will lose all items on your character except for clothing and your phone. You won't lose the place in which you are at, e.g. career or job. 2. You won't be dead for long, possibly 5 minutes or a little longer. 3. Official servers will be casual and so won't have big RP elements like a having a necessity to avoid dying. -
Hobbies/Jobs
LuckyDuck replied to Cdeb123's question in Tourism (Q&A)
Yes, for careers e.g. Police, Fire and EMS. There will be a locker room for the Police as this is and has been confirmed/ explained already. To go on and off duty as a officer you must go into the police stations locker room and get changed into your police uniform for "On Duty" and your civilian clothes for "Off Duty. I will very much say that it is likely the same with EMS and the Fire Department but these are things that have not really been worked on but I imagine will be similar to the Police career. When "Off Duty" you can go and do what ever you want to do. Hunt, Fish, Pick Apples, Farm, Mining, Lumberjack, Treasure hunting, scuba diving, exploring and many more. There will be Offices you can buy for your business' Yes, you can create your own Brand logo/ company logo, store vehicles and all sorts. (Not sure where or how you get the storage space). 1. Yes 2. Yes 3. Not sure 4. No 5. Work (not sure), Personal (See Twitch clip Directory) 6. Likely 7. Not Livestock and not sure really on the rest. 8. Fuel prices will be realistic but the Governor can change it but it will be capped to how high and how low it can go. 9. Yes, cars and other vehicles can break down. 10. The Speedometer will be fully functional. All of the car things will be functional. 11. Cool Idea, I will give this/ forward this idea to the devs for you. 12. You can be a car mechanic (See twitch clips directory. 13. For your Driving license and more things like becoming qualified to be a police officer, Fire Fighter or EMS you have to watch a tutorial before getting the license or qualification to get such a career. 14. You can eat and drink at restaurants -
serverit
LuckyDuck replied to eXelent's question in Tourism (Q&A)
What do you mean by this? Do you mean something like Private servers? Well private servers will be hosted by Asylum and won't happen until full game release. If you don't mean those then can you please give more details so that I can help/ understand. -
Right now, on Official servers the maximum prison time is set to 45 minutes but is subject to change with testing where required. Private servers will get to adjust the limits on the Prison times.
-
There will be a short time that you have to wait to allow the paramedics to be able to respond, however we have no certain time frame for it as of yet. You also will respawn at your last bind location like your apartment but it would be at least 1km - 2km away from the point of death or hospital.and the distance is also what comes in to prevent revenge killing. (Distance is something I believe it is but I cannot remember the distance said and so it is subject to change if I am wrong).

Nope, You cannot host a server on your PC. You must Rent a server and this is the Only option, otherwise you can join an Official server! @Aerotactics This is the answer on another post. The twitch clip explains and answers the tutorial questions. There will probably be online tutorials made by the team and/or the community. There's also some features in the game that requires passing a small tutorial, for example passing your driver's licence in game, or when you apply for the police officer career. Some other stuff will probably be with a little bit of trial and error, like the more risky stuff (*cough* making meth *cough*). Here's a clip that explains a little bit about the kind of tutorials you'll expect to see in the game: https://clips.twitch.tv/BraveUninterestedEchidnaArgieB8

Like @Kardlef said, it is your money which makes your choice alone. If you want some advice, I can give you it; You need to put the 2 options on a imaginary scale, 1 side with upgrade and 1 to not upgrade. Then you need to weigh out the thing which go with both, like for instance I want to upgrade from my current pledge the speed demon but I however want to do it because I want to help fund Identity as much as I can, but on the other hand $250 in 1 go is quite a lot of money to spend in that 1 go. I instead decided I would help more by Pledging for my friends and so far I pledged small amounts for 5 different people, 6 including me. I have that option to upgrade and the biggest thing I want to do it for is to give more funding to the team and so they can progress more. I also put on the don't upgrade option I had was that I need to save money for my new PC and I am going on 2 Holidays abroad this year in which I need to prioritise to. I have very little out goings currently but I need to be ready for the things I am going to be doing during the year. If you wish to go for the upgrade because you; 1. But feel like what you are getting is not enough. Well in that case you will never really feel it is worth it. If you wish to go for the upgrade because you; 1. Want to help fund the game more. 2. Don't mind what is given. 3. You don't need the money in the close future. Then you should go for it. These are a few details which weigh for me, but some things are different, which make it so that I have to help in a different way. I hope this gives you insight into your decision but know that you are the one making the choice and not anyone else. You can look at different advice to help in making that decision but it is you and only you who decides what you do with your money. Best of Luck and I hope you make the best choice for yourself. Best Regards, LuckyDuck.

translate Help with project translation (Ajuda com tradução do projeto)
LuckyDuck replied to TiliGamer's question in Tourism (Q&A)
Hey there, the developers will be using professional companies of their choice at full game release for any translations and won't be doing anything before that time. The Modules and Beta will be English Only with no translations until Full Game Release. -
Menacing hooded robes?
LuckyDuck replied to hussar's question in Tourism (Q&A)
Hoodies, yes. I am not sure about that one butt possibly. However; Q: Modding Support? A: We're exploring this as a possibility, but a decision regarding mods likely won't be reached until several years after the full game is out. -
1. Coffee shops are there I believe, well cafe's are. 2. You can create your own Gun Store already. It is just rare / expensive to get assault rifles 3. You could be a tour guide but it is not a job. Hotels are not own'able. 4. Teacher is an extra/ a RP thing and is not a paid thing. You can do it for RP and could potentially charge people. 5. You can write reports in the newspaper or even Live stream (External Software including YT or Twitch) to then allow players to be able to search or watch you live stream on the in game TV. 6. You can do this already. 7. No, Banks are not Own'able and have no player employees for many reasons.

All guns will be in view on your character. No concealed weapons. you can make a biker gang and there are biker bars but no controlling them nor will you get money from them. They are safe zones, also known as Sub Hubs.

That "House" won't be in the TS Module and is not something they are focusing on getting updated as they would rather get the TS module stuff updated first. Yes they made the video the #1 priority to get it out to us but it doesn't mean that the things which won't be in the first Alpha module would include those things. When you see the TS module trailer, then you should judge it on such things like the environment but also remember the game is Pre-Alpha at this stage and no game has "Full Game Release" graphics at such a point.

Not in Identity. You must do your job to get paid.

Hurricane because the first 2 options are not realistic and the war/ invasion won't be possible as there will never be a military in the game; well possible but military will never be a option.

Police radio ranges, dispatch districts and flagging system
LuckyDuck replied to donmartini112's topic in The Precinct
Yes, I can say hat there will be no restrictions on it happening in Official servers, as if you are wanted then you should be cautious and not in the open where the police can find you easy. Private servers can enforce against it happening and so best bet is to go on a private server that will prevent/ enforce against it. -
I believe that if you play on the official servers then, your character, Pledge items, Also cars which were purchased in game will also transfer and aswell as the money you have in your bank. At the same time, if you have 0 in your bank then you will have 0 on the 2nd server. Q: Modding Support? A: We're exploring this as a possibility, but a decision regarding mods likely won't be reached until several years after the full game is out. No, Chief of Police cannot do that, but on a private server. The Owner can create his ranks for the server.

No Jobs in the 1st module. And so no RV because it is a vehicle and so the meth lab won't be in the game until likely the 2nd Module, but I doubt that unless they have it in one of the competitive game modes. The guns and vehicles yes, indeed won't be in Module 1 but will be in module 2 and 3. The Meth lab will more likely be in the Beta which will be after the 3 modules. The arresting animation will be for the 2nd Module too. Most/ pretty much all of those things were showing things which you can expect some game play be like, except better. But I pretty much agree with you.

The Artwork was only shown at kickstarter not before and so 3 years ago. They started work on it from February 6th 2015 when kickstarter ended and so only 3 years in development.
-
No, they are 3 separate standalone pieces of the game. However The Town Square will eventually have access for you to go into the firing range and the Police station and shoot some pistols. Otherwise You will have to wait until the Beta which is after all 3 modules get put together and more content gets also added on top of them.

There are only blueprints right now and no pictures.
