You can have an restaurant as a business, players will be the key thing in the game. No Roaming AI/ NPC's. The AI/NPC's will fill in the cashier positions for shops as that is better suited.

Hackers and mods
LuckyDuck replied to Dazerbake's question in Tourism (Q&A)
There will be an anti cheat system made from scratch for identity and I also believe Steam VAC bans will be something with it. Hackers, cheaters, exploiters are not tolerated and would get a game ban. (Permanent Ban). -
server Hosting a server on Identity
LuckyDuck replied to Alphoni's question in Tourism (Q&A)
The person who rents the server will sort that stuff out. Yes. I will ask again about this. Not too sure, I don't believe this is planned but I will ask about it for you. -

server Hosting a server on Identity
LuckyDuck replied to Alphoni's question in Tourism (Q&A)
You must rent it through Asylum Entertainment. You can find the answers in the twitch clip directory: Official servers will basically be casual Role Play while private servers will have the ability to enforce RP rules. No to money. You cannot spawn in in-game money at all! However I am not too sure about different ranks but I am more certain that you will be able to do ranks for donators. What do you mean by this? If you mean on Official servers then it is a definitely a no. Private servers will have a minimum amount of slots that you will be able to rent, it will be better for RP, You can enforce rules, make the server white-listed to control the servers players. You can find out more in the twitch clips directory. -

in-game moderation for official server and modding
LuckyDuck replied to Hipik47's question in Tourism (Q&A)
Q: Modding Support? A: We're exploring this as a possibility, but a decision regarding mods likely won't be reached until several years after the full game is out. Official servers will be more casual RP, and will have mechanics in place instead of RP rules like RDM or NLR. There won't be RP enforced upon the official servers. However, if need be then the devs will hire moderators. Private servers will be able to enforce rules and RP more as they will have a bigger and more diverse moderation team to handle those things. -
Who knows this answer?

Also, other than the devs talking about it on the twitch streams. It is here, shown on Dev Blog #014: You will see this when you scroll down: https://gyazo.com/7841362344f568cd84cb584d6be9599c -
in game currency?
LuckyDuck replied to Millasixonesix's question in Tourism (Q&A)
No, it is not pay to win. You will only use in game currency to buy things. You have to buy the game though as it is not free 2 play! -
@TIBURON7013Yes, 3rd and 1st person!
-
No, everything other than the first Module is TBD. Module 1 is April 23rd yes! The game will be eventually on MAC and Linux, but last time I checked that would be at full game release. Here is a twitch clip about it; (Will the game be available for MacOS?) https://clips.twitch.tv/SuperBoxyMosquitoDxCatSorry but the answer is no for modules and beta. Most likely at the full game launch. You can kill people yes, there are guns. The game world is filled up of Real players, no roaming AI/ NPC's in the world. So only real people are roaming. NPC's will be fillers for things which are boring or need to be filled up. Modding is not planned but if it happens it won't be until a few years after the full game release.
-
Module 1 releases on April 23rd not the full game. It is an Alpha stage. No, No plans currently for a console release as the devs want to focus on the PC release. They said they will look into console porting after the PC full game release but they can't promise it will ever make it to consoles. It won't be for a couple years after the PC full game release if it ever were to happen. All Game translations will happen after full game release for PC. You will be able to buy it on steam yes, not sure if it will go in stores though but it will be on steam. Yes, you can be a mechanic in game. No, you won't earn money from or in Real Life. You get paid for doing tasks. You can do/ make/ manufacture or distribute drugs for wealth. You can rob the bank, no entering player houses as you need permissions from the owner to enter. There is no robbing homes unfortunately. You can go on duty or off duty whenever you like. You don't get a schedule to choose. You will just respond to where fires will be and put them out. If you

Yes, diseases are planned, drug buffs and de-buffs are something/ are planned. You get withdrawal symptoms if you try to stop taking drugs.
-
No, There is no planned air vehicles to be in game controlled by the players.

suggestions More Suggestions 3 Topic | TV Jobs And Customization items in vehicles
LuckyDuck replied to ProtectedSquid's topic in Ideas & Suggestions
No video camera's in the game, but you can use external software to do such things like stream to YT or Twitch and people can watch your stream on the TV. Comes under the same Boat as the first one! External Software but everything like this won't give you an income in game. The devs said already that cameras will be limited and so no place-able working cameras is possible due to it being a big performance hit. Houses are safe haven's and that means no one can enter without the owners permission. Not cops and no one with out permissions. No need for that. -
EMS Vehicles, Weapons, Clothing, ect
LuckyDuck replied to Shnikies's question in Tourism (Q&A)
No, there is no substitute for civilians. Also, yes you can have a player run business for that if you wanted but as I have said in the past. You have to get the equipment like guns or stuff if you want them. Players cannot create armour no. Police are the only ones with Armour. There is no Armoured vehicles either. The game will consist of civilians, cops and criminals. A lot of the players want to run their own business and without having cops and criminals, then it wouldn't be a game based on Modern US which has gangs/ criminals with drugs and violence. Also without either of them means that it won't be essentially a real life sort of game. -
Yes, you can put a bed. Yes it will be.

EMS Vehicles, Weapons, Clothing, ect
LuckyDuck replied to Shnikies's question in Tourism (Q&A)
No, Civilians cannot get police equipment/ clothing or cars. No undercover cops is no civilians having any use of such items. If you want to make / do private security, then you have to get weapons, there are zip ties and so they could be used instead of cuffs but no police uniforms or police cars will be usable by civilians. You have to provide your own things and also no body armour for civilians either. -

character Logging out
LuckyDuck replied to Eranza's question in Tourism (Q&A)
Your character will disappear after a timer of like 30 minutes. -
Indeed it does come to help if you have good internet and hardware, but it can be heavily factored by the server itself. The server side part won't be an issue due to the network of servers in one server.
-
No, you cannot have any undercover cops on private servers like Official servers. If it was available, then it would only come with modding if it was able to happen.
-
This is not a planned feature for the game, and likely won't happen because it will make it too easy for players to get weapons.
-
Age Restriction?
LuckyDuck replied to Gamer3412's question in Tourism (Q&A)
The game is rated 18 but there is not a way the devs can prevent anyone younger from playing the game. -
Questions about fire
LuckyDuck replied to Puttipott's question in Tourism (Q&A)
1. No player started fires. 2. Fires are randomly generated. (Your car could potentially catch fire, no explosions though.) 3. Fires are random, but I don't think they spread (Unsure and will ask). 4. Houses are safe haven's Also known as Safe Zones. They are not enterable by others without permission and so no, fire won't be in homes. 5. No furniture cannot damage furniture.
