Question about Town Square.
LuckyDuck replied to RampageAU's question in Tourism (Q&A)
Module 1: Town Square = Social Module, Module 2: S.W.A.T. = A competitive module between the cops and criminals, Module 3: Racing = You race on race tracks which will be in the full map, you will also race on the some streets too. No delivery/ jobs..... Beta will include, Full game map, Jobs/ Careers, and most of the game mechanics which includes all 3 modules and more. Basically Beta is all 3 Modules emerged into 1 + more content as I have listed above a bit. (IMPO) I hope they eventually show a road map, but not sure when or if it will be something they do. -

LuckyDuck replied to RampageAU's question in Tourism (Q&A)
The Town Square is for social aspects, you can RP as you like but the RP for me will be more in the Beta and full game. -
@Citybuild122 Last time I checked, I was told the Modules will not show on steam store or even be purchasable on steam. The game will show for the full game release on steam store. However you purchase through the website and can download through steam. I will see if any changes have been made since I got told.

identity Identity Map is bigger than the gta 5 map
LuckyDuck replied to ProtectedSquid's topic in The Town Square
The map is and has always been said to be bigger. The map will be 225km2 which is bigger than the GTA map. Also, the Full game servers will have between 300 to 500 players per server. The amount in the end will be determined by testing, however it definitely be between 300 to 500 as we know from this point. The devs could potentially allow for over a thousand players but they feel it will be too cramped/ The map won't be as immersive with so many players. -
Question about Town Square.
LuckyDuck replied to RampageAU's question in Tourism (Q&A)
A Town Square, The Full map won't be until Beta which is after all 3 modules. The First module is only a social Module, there are no cars or jobs but there are things to do e.g. Karaoke, cinema, write a book, paint, chess/ checkers. The Module will be updated frequently with small updates adding things as they are created. No, Those things will come as with in the Beta after all 3 modules. There is no currency in the first module. Everything is free to test. -
Extra rewards as a compensation for the constant delays.
LuckyDuck replied to Plumis's topic in The Town Square
@Plumis It includes the $150 pledge tier, $500, $1000, $2500 ones. Yes majority of them are higher than the $250+ but 1 is the $150 one. Also they are doing it because those pledges don't seem to be worth the money to pledger's for the money they cost. The rest of them are entirely fine for what people have spent.- 51 replies

Computer Requirements?
LuckyDuck replied to Million's question in Tourism (Q&A)
Q: Recommended/Minimum System Requirements? A: There is still a lot to optimize and stress-test, so we don't yet have the data to support a proper conclusion. While a lot of the game's textures and models will be highly detailed, we still plan to offer lower graphical settings for those running older hardware. -
In game cash
LuckyDuck replied to ANOKATA's question in Tourism (Q&A)
There will be no typical wages for careers. You have to do jobs to actually get paid and so if you afk/ do nothing then you earn nothing. -
question about the in game
LuckyDuck replied to TueurSingler's question in Tourism (Q&A)
The Owner can give you the permissions to use his apartment if he has enough bedrooms then you can live there too. Cash no, Someone would have to physically go and withdraw the money and give you cash or at least transfer it over to your bank (if possible with transfers). The owner of the car can give you spare keys/ basically adding you on as a friend to allow you to drive his car but I believe he has to get it out of the car garage likely in order for you to use it when you have the keys/ permissions too use it.- 1 reply

You can pay with in game money in the beta (Not modules) and at full game release.
-
English: The Modules are not Beta, Beta is after all 3 modules, The modules are small standalone pieces of the game and are more an Alpha. Beta will be the closest thing to the full game. French (Google Translator): Les modules ne sont pas bêta, Beta est après tout 3 modules, Les modules sont de petites pièces autonomes du jeu et sont plus un Alpha. La bêta sera la chose la plus proche du jeu complet.

identity release Question when the game will come out ??????
LuckyDuck replied to Koster's question in Tourism (Q&A)
You will get a steam key via email when it is ready, You will download the module from steam but also you will have a Launcher for the game itself which you will log in with your store account. The first Module will be compressed and it will be roughly 10 GB. The Modules and Beta will be Only English. At Full game release you will find that Private servers will include other specific languages but the Official servers will be English Only. 1 week after the new website releases the pledge packages will be risen in price or removed from the store and no longer will be available. -
The dev blog's are roughly a month from each other. I don't know what day in May though.
-
Hey, for module 1 if you have not got a pledge apartment, you will be provided a temporary one for the module so you can play around with the customisation. If you have a pledge apartment then you will be able to use that to play around with customisation. Once the new website releases, you will have 1 week before the pledge packackages will be changed, either completed removed or price risen.
-
There is a tracker at the bottom of this page: https://www.identityrpg.com/info/modules/townsquare/
-
Yes but most if not all packages will be gone, single package items will be purchasable instead after that week.
-
In The modules, yes, In Beta you will have to recreate the character as it won't transfer from the modules and from Beta to release your character won't transfer. For the full game release, if you create a character on an official server then it can transfer between other Official servers but not from a Official to private or Private to Official or Private to Private server. If you need more details, please visit as there are a lot of updated / new answers.
-
That was just the announcement, it wasn't a dev blog. The dev blog isn't due out until May.
-
You mean 3 days before. Monday is not the day after Friday.
-
The simple answer is a no for the time being. Q: Modding Support? A: We're exploring this as a possibility, but a decision regarding mods likely won't be reached until several years after the full game is out.

Well. . . I figured this would happen. Another poll for everyone.
LuckyDuck replied to HAWK's topic in The Town Square
PM @Beach_Ball With the following info: Email on your store account, A receipt of payment, username of store account and roughly the date you pledged. Beach Ball will maybe ask you for more details to confirm your Identity and that you are the holder of the account.- 34 replies

New Delay is disconcerting, but I stay the course...
LuckyDuck replied to JohnNYBlaze's topic in The Town Square
They have no volunteer staff other than the Moderators. The moderators are not devs as well, they are voluntary and help with the community moderation only.
