How seriously the developers will approach the development of RolePlay between the players
LuckyDuck replied to Jack_ok's question in Tourism <span style='font-size:0.7em'>(Q&A)</span>
RP is down to the players really. Official servers will be Casual RP while private servers, can get more RP / rules enforced. -
It will be a feature with in the Town Square whether or not if it is post launch or on launch. I won't be able to get you the evidence because we don't have the twitch clips from 2 years ago. The page, is of what the module will have and so it is not false information. They don't state that any of it is for the launch either but they have always said that they would be adding things in updates.
-
The Female character was not worked upon as much as the male characters I think, but a lot of the customisations will be added further down the line as well.
-
No building buildings.
-
It might be a waste of money for you but those who pledge so much, I would like to think they are not doing it for the rewards and to actually help fund the development of this game as everyone who pledged a lot wants the game to succeed. The $45 price tag is because of the hefty chunk that steam takes from sales, otherwise they would lower the price tag in my opinion.
-
The community already knew it had to go through the steam process, it is old news for most.
-
If you don't upgrade to the Founders package which will be $15 as you have the Citizen package already, then you have to wait for the full game release before getting your steam key.
-
They will but, it has to go through steam verification first before it releases.
-
There will be Race tracks and you/ the community have to organise the illegal street racing.
-
it won't be like that for Official/ Public servers. It will be open with a small tutorial acting as a test/ qualification.
-
You will get a steam key in your email yes. However you will not be able to purchase the game on Steam until the full game release.
-
When it releases. If you get the $15 pack then you will get it at the "Full Game Release", if you get the $30 pack then you will get it when Town Square releases.
-
No one wants the game rushed. 3 things or 100 things, people don't want them to rush. The 3 tasks there well they are the biggest tasks. Also there were 4 tasks and one was completed a week ago. Yeah they are taking a bit long to complete these tasks but there is not so many working on them. Also they have to submit the module to Steam for verification before they can launch it.

what is that
LuckyDuck replied to mika's question in Tourism <span style='font-size:0.7em'>(Q&A)</span>
You have to pledge from the store page on this website, but you will get a steam key when it is ready. You won't be able to purchase the game on steam until the full game release. -
It was always said to be just after the launch as an update, like a lot of the things planned to come will be in updates too. They have shown off things, like the apartment video in 2017, they also just done a second live stream of the Town Square. Cars will be developed on after the 2nd Module mainly as it's not the priority right now. They had more funding from the publisher "Devolver Digital". This also helped them start and so likely a bigger team. I also seem to not see that the game is available in Early Access: https://store.steampowered.com/app/513710/SCUM/ It comes August 2018 which is Q3. First year of development, Identity had 3 devs working on it only. They grew their team but they also had to redo TS 3 times, Scum didn't. They also seem to have announced the game but after development started which is the opposite to Asylum. Identity was announced in concept. It started development after the kickstarter finished.

When the tracker is all green and then the steam verification process may start. Yes, there are 3 things in testing left to do. They are not going to rush it out for you, they don't have a time frame on these things. Town Square is a social module and so guns do not really count as social. The gun range will eventually be added into TS though like hairy said.

Hey, I only replied to one bit because I don't have the answer for the rest of the questions and I read it all. I didn't ignore any of it. I just never had answers and so I gave none. I usually say "it's done when it's done" only when multiple threads are on the same page and have been answered but still ignored by new players. Here, Under Please Do; 8. Search for content related to your questions. There’s a good chance that there may already be an answer to what you are looking for!

@Sasall The price will not be the same as it is now, the game will only be purchasable at full game release on steam and not before. So if you are going to pledge now, it must be done via the store page here: http://www.identityrpg.com/shop/ until full game release. The full game price will be roughly $45 USD on steam and it is too far down the road to even know if there will be regional prices and what they will be.

Here are questions which relate and were answered on a twitch stream: Meta (How does the Task Tracker work?) https://clips.twitch.tv/RacyDependablePterodactylYee Meta (Will new tasks be added to the Task Tracker?) https://clips.twitch.tv/SlipperyFaithfulRadicchioBCouch

We repeat this line because nothing has change and this line is the truth. The truth is annoying / harsh sometimes, but you need to learn to live with the truth. You might not like it but it is a fact.

Private Identity Servers
LuckyDuck replied to Rianpla's question in Tourism <span style='font-size:0.7em'>(Q&A)</span>
I wasn't sure whether he meant that as it just confusing as VIP is a package for Identity. However, you cannot give Money/ spawn money for such things. I am not to sure about whether you can give anything and I think it is a no but I might be wrong. (I will ask for clarification.) @Rianpla -
Hey, this thing has been suggested before, I cannot remember the answer that was given. However, IMO people will take the mick out of disabled people and this for one is not nice/ not wanted in the game. There will be a lot who wouldn't but there still will be the ones who do. I will get the answer we have had for this though. (PS: Will edit with answer)

1. The devs want to eventually add in diseases. 2. If your character dies, you will be unconcious for a short time until the paramedic arrives. If they don't get to you and revive you on time then you will respawn at your last bind location. You will lose things like Money and guns etc. which are on your character at the time. You can't lose the clothing or your in game phone though.

The guy made it for the EU as he is from the EU too. I would guess, Other is where the US comes under. @Norway174 I never knew that you were from Norway, I thought you was from Finland.
