at the current time, there are no plans for fan submissions, but it could be possible in the future.

Yes indeed people, have genuine reasons. I totally agree but not most of them. the majority are the ones who blindly pledge. I am very sure the ones who genuinely have asked for a refund because they have lost hope for it are likely including the reason, that they now need the money back. People do consider most of those questions but not all I am sure. Also even if you put $30 in, you should consider the questions, because at the end of the day when you pledge, the devs add it to the budget. If you refund after the money is in that budget, it screws them around with recalculating.

Yes indeed, but I said "A lot of" meaning not all of them are blind pledgers who refund but a lot of them are. Here are my things, I look for before throwing money and also most things people should be looking for. 1. Do I like the concept? 2. How big is the Team? 3. What estimate have they given to me for something to be delivered upon? 4. What estimate do I think is realistic? 5. What road bumps do I need to consider along the development roadway? 6. What problems could cause a delay in the development? 7. How long am I willing to wait? 8. Do i want to wait? 9. Do I think I have the patience to wait? 10. How badly do I want the game/ thing to become a reality? 11. How much do I want to help development? 12. Am I financially able to Pledge anything? 13. Do i need to consider any other options? After I have asked myself all these questions, I then decide whether or not I am going to pledge. In this case, for Identity I pledged straight away. I also pledged the amount I was financially capable to do but I wanted to help more but was unable to at the time. I still help in pledging for my friends. I also Pledge and get Beach to do a giveaway on the livestream. I am supporting them in every way i possibly can and Just because I love the idea it will be something, I also put in the fact that I am not going to get a refund because I pledged to help, I never pledged because i know I am getting the items in the pledge. I want to make the game a reality but if it fails okay. However People don't consider asking themselves half of these questions before pledging. They don't research things before making the decision.

I re-phrased and added extra to my original reply as I didn't phrase it correctly, to how I meant it. 1.25 mill is not enough indeed, games take a lot more than that. Also There is a risk in pledging to help a game in development. You need to take a risk to get a big reward. If you believe in the project then, you take risk or you will wait before throwing money in. We tell people to wait for something that satisfies them and not just blindly throw their money in, because when they do; the money might already be considered with the budget but then they realise they regret it as it was a impulse reaction. If you do not feel like you have got enough satisfaction from what you have now, wait before you pledge. Get the satisfaction before you pledge anything as then you won't want a refund because that satisfaction is full filled.

The game was kickstarted from concept, there was no game before the kickstarter and also you crowd fund your game to help fund development early on. A lot of the money was from their own pockets at first. Refunds don't counted, they might not make a dent but still doesn't change the stance. Also They are growing, but Games cost a lot more than 1.25million nowadays. The average game development funds is about $20 - $30 Million I bet. Re-phrased - Extra: The dev team is small, currently mid 20's on how many there are and well also the first year of development there was only 3 devs. They have grown and have been improving little by little in all different areas. There are not that many refunds, but a lot of the refunds are because people throw money blind without thinking about it. People do not research on things before putting money in a game which is in early development. @xfinityprime

Well they have investors and so that is something and also I am pretty sure this project is something they won't just drop.

? CYBER ? - Today at 21:23 remember that "testing" doesn't mean "hey i'll launch it and see if it looks pretty! herpa derp" testing = launching, assessing, trying to break under stress test, load balancing, quality assurance, maintenance AND if you found a bug, you gotta FIX IT, and then redo all that testing because a fix can spawn another bug. so just because the tracker LOOKS idle, doesn't mean that we have been. my 2cents from my side..

Here is one of the programming devs explanation of the "in testing" things; Also there was no official release date for last year, estimates but not solid dates. Beta release is after all 3 Modules.
-
The racing module will take longer than the s.w.a.t. module because of the car physics etc.

Please report any of these posts as we do indeed miss some and may not see them as more comments go on the post pushing them further out of sight.

There won't be roaming NPC's/ NPC's smoking please take a look at the recent TS module game-play video as it is shown that you can smoke. Click me ---> Video

The Developer Cyber's explanation on what "In Testing" means on the tracker. The 3D artists are working on assets because the last 3 things in testing are programming things and so the artists can't help on that part of the tasks.

You won't be able to use software outside of the game and also it likely will be a template to use.

suggestion Who wants a option that makes low end PC’s able to run it decently?
LuckyDuck replied to buller3008's topic in Ideas & Suggestions
In my Opinion, you should be fine but we won't know until the steam page is public and has the minimum/ recommended specs. -

LuckyDuck replied to buller3008's topic in Ideas & Suggestions
The Lowest likely will be a 750ti which is reasonable, but nothing can be determined as accurate yet as well as there are no proper benchmarks made to know accurate specs to minimum or recommended. -
Political Roleplay
LuckyDuck replied to Vela's question in Tourism (Q&A)
No, 1 governor for the server. You will add yourself to the voting list and it is up to you to do any campaigning and getting yourself known in the world. Players will then go to the polling station and vote on a candidate they want to have be the governor. -
Political Roleplay
LuckyDuck replied to Vela's question in Tourism (Q&A)
It isn't like parliament in the UK, the governor controls/ changes the things he wants to. -
I fully understand that, but instead of releasing the module early and then needing to focus on those last few things, I would rather them finish those things and update the module with other content instead of the update being for the pre-launch stuff. A lot of people are asking for them to finish the remaining stuff and same with releasing and finishing it after. but it will be better to finish them first.

Please follow the tracker found Here! Once this is all completed, it will be submitted to steam for verification before it releases.

The devs want to add diseases but it won't make it until after the full game release.

The last 3 tasks are the biggest tasks, also they make progress but not enough progress for a visual change. The problems which could occur during testing; a bug, they will have to find the source of the bug, fix the bug and also make sure that the bug cannot reoccur. When they fix the bug, they could cause more bugs etc. Programming is not so easy always as 1,2,3 like you may think.

Hasn't changed visually in 1 week**** Another way to have a question answered is going on the discord and asking Beach_Ball. I answered and corrected some of the things you pointed out. I don't have answers to everything as I know as much as you on some things. I have also conveyed over certain points another member gave/ suggested which are the same as yours. I too would love more info, but also I can't answer everything as you can see because I am a Moderator and can only tell you what I get told. I can only say, if I get answers for anything then I can give you some answers but until then, I will answer what i can to help. I read and understood everything on your post and yes, Beach_Ball already gave the answer that we are waiting on the Payment Provider for theirs side of things in which they have a few problems to deal with causing the delay for everyone. That is the truth and well if you choose to believe it or not is down to you.

The devs stream every Tuesday and Thursday. Gameplay streams not so much as you point those two out. They are Monthly Dev Blogs What are they to announce? If you say a release date, well we have the tracker instead of one. The Artist don't programme..... So how are the objects like the deck chair and lamp holding up the programmers? No, they said the new website will either come before or along side the TS module release. Please check the tracker for the progress on the TS module, as when that is completed the module will be submitted to steam to for verification and then it will release. They have a dev blog every Month not every 3 months. Also Beach_Ball the community manager does answer the communities questions. Also we are customers but at the same time "Pledging/ Donating" to help fund the development on the game. We get the perks in the pledge we chose to say thank you for helping development early on.

Prison
LuckyDuck replied to Jack_ok's question in Tourism (Q&A)
There are no guards, but the Prison will be open for players to join a gang, make make-shift shanks and so on. There will be lots of fun things to do. You can go and make a court case to try and plead that you are not guilty so that you can get out of prison earlier if you successfully get the Jury's votes as not-guilty.- 1 reply
