This is honestly my only concern. Economy sounds like it will be laissez faire so no qualms there. Lots of players will be cops or have civilian jobs. Money is all server side so hackers can't do anything with that. Really the only problem is if the game actually comes out. As much as I want the devs to be capable as it stands I'm skeptical.

Political Parties are formed when politicians with similar ideas collaborate and form organizations. As it stands there aren't very many people who want to be involved in government, much less run an organization of politicians. After the system is more fleshed out I think we'll definitely see political parties form.

That's troubling IMO. I'd rather they have a system where they say, "OK we've made this much progress in this much time" Instead of "Oh I feel like we can update this arbitrary scale an arbitrary amount"

I based my math on the fact that it took them 58 days for them to update the percentage 9%. My math checks out but, they're development pace could change. I have yet to recieve a comment on my estimate from the devs. What makes you so sure it'll come out around April/May?

I did the math in one of my other posts. That's probably worst case scenario though. I said it would take 232 days from the day I made the post which was on the 19th of February. I don't really have time to do the math now but the rate is 9% every 58 days.

The solution to this is to have Russian servers but not to region lock them. I think it's bigoted to essentially ban someone from a server because of their region/language. What If I have friend in Russia I want to play with but we can't because of region locks? That would just be stupid. Just have it so that some servers have RU in the name and some servers have ENG in the name. Problem solved.

I believe they said that metal detectors would remove guns and weapons from players inventory. Idk where they would put these (spawn and the hospital maybe) but I think there needs to be a lot of balance testing with invincibility zones before we find a system that works.

I think the AI are just going to be the cashiers. I don't really think a large portion of the playerbase is going to want to sit in a shop for 8 hours a day waiting for customers. Maybe it's just not my cup of tea but RPing a cashier is not very appealing to me. That doesn't mean there won't be jobs in sales though. I know of a few companies (including mine) that are planning to hire salespeople. Also I think I heard somewhere that players will be able to be used car salesmen, though I don't know if the developers confirmed this or not.

I think that's fine actually. If someone in real life is chasing you with a knife and run into your house and lock your door and windows, they most likely won't be able to get in. Honestly if I were in that situation I wouldn't log out I'd just call the cops.

That's what I hope. But realistically speaking I haven't seen much REAL evidence they're working hard. Just the occasional screenshot and even then there's only been a couple. It's not enough to convince me personally one way or the other.

Well if it was 55% at the launch of the website on 12/22/2015 and it took until 2/18/2016 for an increase to 64% the rate it's developing is 9% every 58 days. With 36% remaining this means it will take 232 more days for the bar to reach 100% at the current rate it is going at. However I think (and deeply hope) the devs just forgot about the percentage and/or it doesn't represent the reality of development. Any feedback from them in regard to this would be great (though as of recent they haven't said anything.)

Before you read this I should state that i realize it's the forums and I realize it's the internet and people are going to say stupid shit but it does slightly worry me. In a thread I was reading there was a small RP exchange going on between 2 members(Wasn't in the pub in case you were wondering), and someone commented on how the exchange was "cringey" and the people were "kids." I know that this person is entitled top his opinion and can think whatever he wants, but this is still concerning for me. I feel that this kind of attitude is going to discourage people from really getting into character and Role playing. It's the internet and this is a multiplayer RPG. It worries me that people are going to go into 2 players RP discussion and say "LOL check out these cringey kids they're role playing ew gay." If no one RP's in this game it's going to turn into a grind fest where literally the only activities in the game are going to be the automated ones put into the game by the devs. For my final point just imagine how much more fun Altis life would have been if the cops weren't such hard asses and RPed out a bribe every once in a while, or if the governor introduced a new law and the cops actually agreed to enforce it. That would be really cool. Except that if every time someone tries to RP another person comes over and says, "You're making a fool of yourself haha" when it already takes a lot of confidence to RP that cool stuff will never happen. I'm not saying everyone has to RP and I'm not saying that everyone should RP (But that would be really cool). But I would like it to be that I don't have to join a private community server if I want to RP and that RP isn't looked down upon by a majority of the players. What are you're thoughts?
