Core Transport is a corporation who's main focus will be to become your #1 in transport. Not everyone will afford vehicles in Identity, so we want to give people the opportunity to travel with ease across the Island, the system below is a beta prototype and we will be trying a lot of new things to see what brings more satisfaction to possible future customers. We are happy to be the first announced transport corporation on the old forums, and we had the pleasure of having the first business post in this section of the forums. We are dedicated to our community and we hope to co-work with you all so that you too can build a transit system you would like to see. I started Core Transport because i have a passion in all things moving. A lot of my family are in the logistics and public transport business. Core transport is based on real world collected data, we have several written documents describing how our logistical and public transport system will work on identity based on the information that we have right now, and a special thanks to @Motown for answering a lot of private messages on the site which in turn helped shape Core Transport. Every week, CORE Transport has a Friday and Sunday special which offers you a TWO WAY trips with any Inter city coach, for only $35.00, price includes vat, baggage and parking (if any) -----------Description of our Logistics system and how it works----------- Logistics - Deliveries and their cost: The way we will be calculating our deliveries cost is not by weight or type of goods but rather by how much room it will take in the truck trailer / van. Space in the truck trailer and van are divided into 6 zones, the costs would be as followed: SPACES 1 = 50$ | 4 = 400 2 = 150$ | 5 = 750 3 = 250$ | 6 = 1,000 Prices will be negotiable, and this is all a prototype. all feedback is much appreciated. Roles and procedures of the Logistical Driver. (1) The Depot: Drivers will collect their asset (vehicle) belonging to the C.T. Corporation at the start of their shift after the yard master / secretary* gives them their Driver Reference Nr and permission to depart from the Yard, once the driver receives his/her instructions then departure is permitted by the Security Guard. (2) The warehouse: The warehouse operators would be loading the truck before the driver arrives. Small vans or other truck drivers would be assigned to bring smaller goods to a company owned warehouse where the customers goods would be distributed to their final location. But it is possible to deliver directly from Factory > Destination if the payment reaches minimum for that process to occur. Its an important job to ensure that goods are loaded efficiently and effectively. (3) Secure Driver Procedure: When any driver enters a yard or distribution centre a driver number must be given, along with the vehicles registration plates and what kind of cargo is being transported. Core Transport is a 100% legal company and it is up to the Security Officer to ensure that no illegal contraband is ever transported. Heavy fines would apply for any contraband that would be attempted to transport. When trucks arrive and depart they are heavily checked by security officers to ensure the safety of the driver and compliance with the law. Dockets would be printed out for drivers with ALL the information they need to take off. This is not the finalized version of the C.T. system description. a logo and the full description will be uploaded in weeks to come.

Hey everyone, I'd like to take a moment of your time to give you an update on CTC for both our dedicated staff, investors and Core Transport Patrons. I would like to say that I'm happy to see Identity moving along and now with the release of the Town Square Module I think it's safe to say we're all pretty hyped - for the module and for the chance to get to meet you all in-game in character! Core Transport is still going strong with plans being formulated, our current graphics improved and new bus lines being developed behind the scenes, we are also working on a more improved distribution plan for our truckers and partnered factories and business which will rely on this service and as always, we will be going out into the real world visiting actual Trucking and Bus companies to gather real world data so that we can make a comprehensive system for smooth driving and to show we mean business. A special thank you to all of you who have kept Core Transport in mind and to those multiple investors who have pledged their in-game money of $1,000 and $4,000 and with all of those One's and Four's combined, we will have a head start and creating your #1 In Public Transport and Logistic solutions. @BrianHamilton We have many guarantees from several people with their stance on investing their starting money into the company for shares, I do firmly believe that from the moment we get in the game we will be the first with any sort of public transport vehicle such as a Coach or the equivalent. Hey everyone, I just wanted to share an idea about Electric and plug-in Hybrid vehicles. Being a person who pre-ordered a Tesla model 3 and an enthusiast of Electric Vehicles naturally I thought I should share this on Identity. In reality, I am the first in my family to make a pledge to never in my life touch a petrol or diesel pump and so far I have gone with my promise. I think that Identity should have a few Hybrid and fully Electric vehicle models to satisfy everyone in both your average vehicle sector and premium sports vehicles. I don't know if you need to put petrol in your cars in Identity but if you do I think it would be a cool idea to have some charge point infrastructure around the map but much smaller than that of Petrol stations to simulate the real world. Many companies offer home charging points and the Developers did say that you will have some limited exterior customization and this would be a neat little addition to charge your car at home. Minor public Network but possibility to open your own network as a business and set charge prices, parking etc... Manufacturers could produce these. Doesn't it take longer to charge than filling up a tank with petrol? Well... Yes, at home charging points it takes hours where as at public DC points it takes minutes. The way this could work in Identity is just to extend recharging times to something like 5x or 6x longer than it takes to fill petrol depending on the power output and vehicle. Electric Vehicle range can vary from 100 miles to 200 miles to 300 miles on a single charge, people can enjoy the instant torque on some EV models and more storage in vehicles for transport. Is this idea practical? That's up to you all to determine but I know that with instant torque ill be happy with any Electric vehicle that could be released in Identity. There is a lot of vehicle diversity so why not add a few charge points to the identity map, flare things up a bit and offer home owners and business owners the opportunity to install charge points to get more customers. Electric vehicle charging could open more possibilities for manufacturers to produce and deploy charging points for homes and stations, could you buy land to set up your own network? It would be cool to do something like that from land you might own (Not just charging, general ownership and management of land for whatever you want) What do charge points look like? That really depends on the country and county then companies like Tesla have their own network of Superchargers which charge your vehicle for 80% in 30 minutes (They can also use public stations) Here is a look at various charge points globally: The costs: Your average regular electric vehicle can cost anywhere from $25,000 to $35,000 while premium EV's (Electric Vehicles) can be from $65,000 to $115,000 and sports electric vehicles up to $200,000 Elected officials could amend rules based on Electric vehicles too, introducing or removing incentives and free or paid charging point access at government charge points (Excl. Privately owned) Here is a look at some common electric vehicles from each category: Tesla Model 3 ($28,000 - $35,000 standard version) Nissan Leaf (Avg. $27,000 standard version) Hyundai Ioniq (Avg. $20,000 Standard) Tesla Model X (From $80,000 - $115,000+ Premium Electric SUV) BMW i3 (From $35,000) BMW i8 (From $115,000) The question is, what do you all think? I know some people like the roar of an engine or find it unattractive to charge your vehicle but personally I firmly believe it would be a nice addition to Identity, the developers could always just make 2 or 3 models and a hybrid or two then see how it performs then offer more options in future updates. - CORE Transport Action Plan - Corporations are now divided so things like transport and logistics are listed as separate identities. We can't take two rout's but what I CAN do is to open a subsidiary corporation on an alternate character leading up to the formation of: -CORE Transport Lines & -CORE Logistics This would allow us to work with the system, but which one is a priority? how will it work for our staff that want jobs they applied and got in for? Well... that's up to the developers and here's why- CORE Transport has been an influential factor from the start, we have gathered real world data from being permitted to survey logistic and public transport systems at several companies, one in Ireland, England and United States. We have repeatedly kindly asked the developers for their thoughts on the Public transport sector in terms of city buses, coaches and minibuses / shuttles - Previously we were told that coaches wont be permitted in the game as they can easily block the roads (just like a truck can) so using that as a counter we received a neutral stance on the idea of buses and coaches and hopefully that has changed. If Buses, Coaches and Minibuses will be in the game - the CORE Transport Lines corporation will be launched first and be our priority and only later will we continue to open CORE Logistics. Thank you to all who have stuck with us and we hope our Business partners continue to be firm partners of ours into the future (especially that most of the businesses wont be set up from the start). Our investors have not backed off of the idea as far as we can tell and so we still have a pretty large starting capital to be your first and number one in public transport AND Logistics! Co-CEO Director of Operations Depot Manager Ticketing Officer Dispatch Officer Coach Driver Commercial Driver Bus Driver Security Guard Secretary More jobs may become available as information of Identity is released --------------------------------- JOB DESCRIPTIONS ---------------------------------------- -The CEO: There is only one CEO and that is myself, Astonair (Air for short) I handle all the advertisement's, designs and business relations with other company's -The Director of Operations is the man in charge of ensuring that the Depots and destinations are running perfectly clear, the DO (Director of Operations) will also create and manage bus lines, bus lines that are beaming will have more vehicles assigned, rather than those which may have one bus to multiple locations less frequently. -The Depot Manager ensures that CORE Transport always has the perfect prices for passengers and Cargo Delivery customers. The Manager also manages the advert campaign of CORE Transport, but this does not include other control over other commercial company's adverts. The manager must ensure that staff are working at full capacity to make sure the system is fast and sleek - to be hassle free for all customers. -Ticketing Officer, this is the person that firstly sells tickets in the ticket office / booth and writes down all the correct details on a special ticket that will be handed to the Passengers, the passengers would hold on to this ticket with a special serial key and regular information to be checked before boarding the bus, serial keys are written down and there can only be one like it (anti-scam system) In more rural areas or less visited locations, the ticket officer comes along for a ride with the driver, to sell and check tickets before passengers board the bus. The ticket officer will be using the Microphone system the most for sure, announcing arrivals, departures and other information to take the strain of a Dispatch Officer. Ticketing officers also go onto city buses to check tickets of passengers, as policy states that people can sometimes get on with no ticket checking, ticketing officers will get on buses at random times to ensure that people are not riding on the bus illegally. -The Dispatch Officer is a job for people who would rather have an office job, this jobs main priority is to keep tabs on what CORE vehicles (Buses, truck's, vans, other company's vehicles) and to ensure that they arrive and depart at proper times, buses would be directed to proper platforms, and most of the time, you will be using the Microphone System to announce arrivals / departures / info. -Coach driver, the name said it all for me, but here is some information anyway's: The Coach driver job is the most important and critical job in the whole company, as it is the heart and the reason for being (of the company) Coach drivers don't drive in the cities and towns, they driver to and from cities and towns having only one or two stops in each city/town before proceeding on its long distance away to the destination(s), it is the job of the driver to ensure that passengers are safe at all times, and that the driver always announces stops, updates and other information via microphone, Coach drivers are careful drivers, to ensure maximum safety and efficiency for the Passengers. -Commercial Driver, this is a driver that drives Trucks and Vans to deliver goods, depending on the good's size and demand, the Van will be a more likely option, or truck for long distance / high quantity loads. This driver does not need to worry about passengers, but needs to focus on its load, to ensure that the trailer (if any) is always secure, there is no one in the trailer (if possible) and that the transport of drugs is not tolerated. If departing from a CORE Depot, a security guard will always check and secure the cargo. (always on time) -Bus drivers, you might think that this is the same as a coach driver, but it is not, type Bus into Google images and then coach, the both have clear differences. A bus driver would drive a bus of different design (if any) around the more dense areas of the game such as cities and larger towns. A bus never leaves a cities / towns boarders unless it is an N/A service approved to move to another location. Bus drivers are in-charge of selling tickets to the passengers. If there are few passengers at a stop, the driver must find time to sell tickets, if its pact with people on a stop, the driver can let people right on to prevent time-loss. The bus driver cannot have chats with passengers while driving unless it is a general question or a request to buy tickets. -Security Guards always patrol around main areas where the CORE Transport company operates such as major bus stops or company commercial Depots, other than making sure no harm is brought to people when in large groups, guards check trucks before they depart for any Illegal consistencies or people on the back of the truck. Once the load is secured, the Guard gives the all go for the driver. -Secretary Manages all the messages / complaints / reservations / enquiry. All information is provided to secretaries so that Passengers/customers questions can be answered efficiently. Lol, depends what kind of migration be it economic or cultural thankfully in my case its cultural, but i am literally Irish, i have only ever lived in Poland for 5 years while i'm 11 years in Ireland, and i don't get called an irish farmer

@LionKingGamer We cant yet estimate the total wages for our drivers without having a full established financial plan before the game even starts, but we are aiming to pay better than others (if any) or default jobs.

@LionKingGamer were still looking at possible routs, but we dont want to release them just yet, i asked a long time ago on Twitter and according to @Motown it isnt the final version of the map that we have seen, but there should be a feature in the game to plan routs and assign drivers with our assets to them as a transport Corporation.

@TrueCrazyMan We havent really considered boats, we have a lot already on our development plan, so we don't want to take on too much, but perhaps plans could be made in the future once the game is released and we are more sure of our financial backing thank you for the suggestion!

@LionKingGamer We would love to have you work for us, but unfortunately i don't think we will br letting our drivers design their assigned vehicles, as we will be doing that on our own initiative meaning paid adverts on the sides of our city buses but none on our future inter-city coach lines. but thank you for your imput.
