There will be laws in the game. If players don't follow the law and get caught they will be spending time in prison. And if players are rude for too long there is a system that will boot players from the server. I'm sure the game will have a great community, not every player will be a douche.

The developers are working hard to bring us jobs that will be entertaining and interesting. They can't put in all the jobs out in the world. And if they took the time to put all these positions with careers, I'm sure being mechanic will be immersive and detailed.

Are you kidding me? Now look who's being ignorant.
-
Uh, what? I don't see what you are getting at. I guess maybe I am ignorant, but you aren't making it easy on your part.
-
What does this have to do with being ignorant? Ignorance implies that we do not know something,. What is it that you think we don't know?
-
I agree. Wrong section Thiago.
-
What do you mean Trustvainer?
-
I am upset to hear this as well. Why is it required to use PayPal? Credit and debit is so much simpler.
-
I thought I heard that it is possible. Ah well, if it isn't I'll play one career and then eventually switch.

Hey, that's what rpg are all about. Creating your own story and developing your character. Doesn't hurt to throw in some actual facts into the mix. We have the chance to be who we always dreamed we could be with Identity. So many opportunities before us. That done said, I'm finding myself torn between becoming a cop or a businessman. On one hand I like dishing out justice, and on the other Im a tech lover who would like to start my own electronics company. Hmmm. I might make two accounts.

Lol History wasn't one of my best subjects. But hey, Identity is an rpg. Good job, very detailed story.
-
Yes, I remember a conversation being brought up that there will be a court system and players will receive jury duty. Ahh, the developers think of everything.
-
Seems like some people still have the notion they can do whatever they please on Identity. This isn't GTA Online. This is a whole new world that is being created governed by rules. You can always go be a jackass on your own server, but honestly I wouldn't pay money just to screw up the experience for other players.

Looking at all the situations and the tactics required to handle each of them I am amazed. Identity looks to be just a step away from actual reality. There are as many job positions in there as real life. SecondLife doesn't even come close to this. These developers will undoubtedly receive the game of the year award for 2017, should it amount to what is being said here in the forums.

I go with laptops because of their mobility. Right now I am having to rely on a public connection due to low funds. But even with my own internet service, I would prefer a laptop. I sometime like to lay on my bed while using my current laptop. I will get a protection plan though. This is the laptop I am looking at getting. - https://www.walmart.com/ip/MSI-GP72VR-Leopard-Pro-284-17-3-LCD-16-9-Notebook-1920-x-1080-Intel-Core-i7-7th-Gen-2-80-GHz-16-GB-DDR4-SDRAM-1-TB-HDD-512-GB-SSD-Windows-10-Multi-La/55522710#about-item

Lol What kind of gentlemen's club is it? The English library/snooty type or XXX guy's fantasy surrounded by cigarette smoke and booze type?

As long as they can do the job it doesn't matter if they are teenagers. There is a lot of young police officers out there in the world who may look green but learn quickly and are capable of doing their job right.
-
Oh I'm sure it will get harder as you progress. More and more various tasks will probably pop up and require officers of different ranks. If they created all these different ranks and departments my guess is down the long road it's going to get more challenging.
-
Ohhh you like to talk a big game huh? You do know you are in the Law Enforcement forum, right? The Criminals forum is that a way lol... >
-
I believe a Chief of Police should be elected by the mayor and then it will be up to them to keep the department under control. I do not know if this is how it will turn out though. But, people might not want to wait around for a player to be elected mayor and may just decide to start at the bottom and work their way up. I believe these promotions should be optional though, as some of us prefer to keep things simple and stick to the routine we know.

Wow, all those divisions and ranks in this career remind me of the real thing in cities. I think it's cool there will be a K9 unit. One member asked about that. That question was already asked in another topic, and was told that there will be a system in place to make sure there is no corruption committed by police officers.
-
It is good to see others sharing the right mindset: a balance of upholding law and justice with respect for others. That's the kind of police officer I will be in Identity. I wish all you law enforcement officers the best of luck in your careers.

Well I know weed would be at the bottom and meth would be at the top of the list, that much is sure Arky. LSD and acid would be high on the list, as that can lead to dangerous situations. Cocaine sounds like it would be in the middle. I wonder how many of these drugs could even be produced in the game.

It's ok to get excited but you have to temper it with patience. This is a very small team of developers. You can't expect things to happen right away. That done said, I would like to do a little dabbling on the modules when they are released as well. At least we would be able to get a taste of it. There are plenty of other games out there being released that can occupy our time as we wait too you know.

What does this have to with law enforcement? What does this have to do with Identity at all? Find something better to do with your time if you can't post intelligent conversations. We have no time for pointlessness.
