I would hope that spending so much on a package would mean you outright own the apartment, and can not lose it, though I'm not certain how it will work. I can understand the actual houses forclosing, but not an apartment you spend actual cash on. However, I can't say for certain.

For the answer to the third question, I believe they will, depending on the property type. From my understanding there is an infinite amount of apartments in the world, but a limited number of houses. If you do not pay the rent/taxes on your property, you will lose it.

Welcome. I'm new myself to the forums, but I've been following the game for a while - I'm very excited for it. By the way, I absolutely love Florida.

If this is supposed to be based off of the United States, and revolve around the USD, so I don't see them implementing uniforms from other countries purely for the sake of looking different. Even though the uniforms of PD/FD/EMS look very similar, they're usually easily distinguishable, so I don't see this as being a problem. I am also not a huge fan of the jumpsuit look, too much to get in the way - tac pants and a polo shirt are plenty, plus the vehicles and equipment will look far different.

@Kracken Thank you. I'll help wherever I can, but for now I'll just join everyone in anticipation.

I do have experience working with LE as an EMT, but that's as far as I can go in regards to policing. Hopefully we'll be a benefit one way or another, whether it's through input regarding careers or simply testing the functions and abilities of the game. Backing it to begin with is wonderful support already.

@Kracken I can't speak for the others, but I do not have any experience in policing, my experience is only in EMS and nursing. However, I have always been interested in law enforcement and am strong supporter. I likely would have gone into law enforcement if I hadn't taken the route I did.

That's exactly what I'm trying to get away from, the GTA mindset. I'm looking forward to role players who will take it seriously, not simply beat up everyone they come across, or plow through people and property doing vehicle stunts. It seems to me that things in this game will take time and effort to obtain, and hopefully have real impacting consequences for criminal behavior.

I'm looking forward to meeting and enjoying the game with great people. Interaction with other players is what really makes a game like this enjoyable. I'm honestly excited about character customization, and being able to create my own persona. Outside of the gaming world I am a nurse, and having been in EMS as well, I feel I'll end up playing as a paramedic, though there are so many options I may try something completely different. The housing is another area that is exciting to see, and I'm anxious to get into that. I'm no interior decorator, but I do enjoy games where I can create my own space. I play Sims purely for the house building and decorating. I understand we won't be building our own homes, but the options available with the decorating are amazing. Yes, I know we are still a ways away from release, but I plan on investing quite a bit at the start, so I just need to make certain that I can get the options I want in a package before they are gone. I also want to be able to enjoy testing the modules as they come out, as well as the beta version so I can help the game become a success.

I plan on investing in the higher options as well- I never just do the basics. It sounds as if the top options do have offerings that place them well above the others, though I could be wrong.
