There are quite a few posts on this forum, and it might take a long time just to search for what u want an aswer to. For ppl just getting here its alot to absorb. My job is not to moderate...moderators who get pissed off because everyone isnt as computer, or forum savy as them, kinda defeats the purpose of having a moderator. Its like saying when i go to a store and ask where something is, and the associate treats me like im a moron, cause i dont work there and they might have to do their JOB, and save ME time looking for it. Since they have the experience and knowledge i dont. An attitude like that can really turn someone off, and make them never come back to that store. Some ppl are on cell phones and things dont look the same for them, as they do on a computer screen...i can NOT see any signatures cause im on a cell phone. Ppl did not treat me like an idiot when they responded to my question. Point them in the right direction with all that knowledge, instead of letting the condescending attitudes drip all over the screen. I just bought my new rig, i went for an i7-7700k @4.2 GHz , EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 SC Gaming ACX 3.0 8GB GDDR5X, Viper Elite DDR4 16GB 2400MHz, SeaGate 2TB SATA 3.0Gb/s 7200Rpm 64 MB Hard Drive, SanDisk+ 480GB SSD, ASUS TUF Z270 Mark 2 LGA1151 DDR4 mobo, EVGA SuperNOVA 850 B2 80+ Bronze 850W Semi modular power supply, and a Samsung 4k UHD Monitor, with 1ms response, AMD FreeSync. This is my 1st PC. EXCITED... doesnt even cover it! I'm so amped! I have never really gotten into PC and for me to go and buy a gaming rig (was NOT cheap lol) just because i want to be a part of Identity, shows how great Identity can potentially be. I think it would be awesome to be able to invite some friends over to my house, or apt and play some spades at my dining room, or kitchen table. How many ppl can you invite in your apt at one time? Can we throw house parties? Maybe the cops could pull some ppl over, after leaving the party, and driving after they been drinking. Can you drink and drive and get pulled over for it, and arrested? Or maybe even have some friends come over to play "Asshole".

I tried finding out what would be needed for minimum requirements. As they are not ready to set it in stone, And I needed to make a move cause I NEED to be a part of Identity. So i went for optimal and will have no problems what so ever when it releases now, I cant tell u what the lowest graphics card is, that will still run Identity smoothly. But i can tell u that, this will more than suffice your gaming needs. Intel i7-7700k@4.2GHz, EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 SC 8GB GDDR5X, SeaGate Constellation 2TB 3.0Gb/s 7200Rpm 64 MB Hard drive, Viper Elite DDR4 16GB 2400 MHz, SanDisk+ 480 GB SSD, Im sure thats overkill for this experience, that will be Identity, but as i couldnt find the minimum requirements I went the other direction. And since I had to have someone hold my hand as i explained what i want to do, and they told me what Id need to do it. It shouldnt be such a process for u, like it was for me

Cant we all just grow up, and stop fighting over the dumbest stuff. Just like gta v they released for 360 and ps3, doesnt have some of the stuff that released for it on ps4 and xbox 1. Theres a reason why ps4 and xbox 1 cost what they do, and why computers are so much bigger and cost so much more. We are all just gamers, EVERY PLATFORM is worth playing. ARE WE GAMERS or not. What does it matter what or where u play your games. NO PS4 and xbox 1 cannot handle Identity as it would release on pc, consoles have always been, a more cost effective solution for gamers that cant or wont spend that much for a gaming rig. Why all the condescending attitudes and answers? Is the only time we are united as gamers, when someone tries to say video games are a watse of time, and serve no purpose? Which is what I've heard my whole life. I started and continued on console till yesterday, I finally bought a custom gaming rig, i coulda bought 10+ ps4's or xbox 1's for what i paid for my rig...Now i think of consoles as stepping stones to pc gaming. And i want to experience everything i can as a gamer. PC doesnt have ALL the best experiences for gaming, consoles have had some awesome games too. Hey i cant stand minecraft, but to each their own. My kids love it. Do i poop on my kids because they like minecraft...No, its their stepping stone to greater experiences

I dont see any of that...Is it because im doin this all thru my S7 edge, and not a computer. This is exactly why Im waiting for my build to get completed and set up, before I make my pledge, this wednesday. Im afraid something will get lost or screwed up if I try to do it on my cell then, go on my desktop.

@gorgoroth Im in the same boat, well i was, I just blew $2800 for everything, including Samsung 4k monitor, I dont know what ur range is, but i wanted to make sure i could run Identity at ultra high settings with max fps. I will have no problem playing any games for a good while. Its not top of the line but it will suit my purposes for the next few years. Wow...well to answer your question anyway, Not right now, it will be PC only, they hope to explore consoles in the future if the situation permits. I would think though, that as much as they want Identity to be, it would really have to be dumbed down to be put on console. But i dont know that for sure. Im just speculating

I was wondering the same question, as I am new to pc tho, i couldnt really get anyone to gimme a direct quote as to what i would need, minimum requirements, to run Identity. So i said "F" it and got an i7-7700k/ ASUS TUF Z270 Mark 2 LGA1151 DDR4 HDMI DVI M.2 USB 3.1 Z270 ATX Motherboard/ EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Superclocked ACX 3.0 8GB GDDR5X/ EVGA SuperNova 850W Semi modular power source/ Viper Elite Series DDR4 16GB (2x8GB) 2400MHz red kit/ Seagate Constellation 2 TB 3.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s 7200Rpm 64MB Internal Hard drive/ SanDisk SSD+ 480GB Solid State Drive. My monitor is a Samsung 28" UHD 4k 1ms response for 399 at Best Buy. I know nothing about computers Im literally getting this because i want Identity. I would recommend Xidax, personally. Of all the Custom gaming rig companies i was looking into and trying to build a rig of my own. He actually sent me a msg, and called me, and hand walked me thru building a rig that would get me thru the next many years of PC gaming. As I intend to try and start streaming professionally. I took what he helped me build, and only because they had a limited style of 3 towers for what I wanted, I decided to get it built by a shop by my house that does custom rigs. They can definitely help you get an idea of where u wanna go, even if u dont buy it from them. I looked at player1, Digital Storm, CyberpowerPC, and Xidax. Xidax may not have had the best selection of style tower that I wanted, with what i could spend. If i can do something with streaming, and can afford to really go all out on liquid cooled rig upwards of 3 & 4k. I plan on goin to Xidax because they stand behind there rigs, LIFETIME Parts/Labor! The sales rep I spoke with was awesome, and was concerned with customer service not sales.

I am kinda curious as to how they are gonna come at this driving system as well. I've heard there's no bullet proof tires, you will need a license if you want to drive...legally. Car damage will be more realistic. And for the added immersion, you will be able to do things like use blinkers and even put on your seat belt, and change flat tires. I think the driving will be fine because its a different world, than GTA, with so much more to do. I mean the real world has ppl that get into trouble because they hate speed limits. Thats why there will be a racing aspect of identity, where the speed demons can go feed their ride some speed without getting into trouble. Im curious about the world as far as damage by cars. Will a police chase be able to end with a car goin off into the woods and taking out trees(not the disappearing kinda either;) ) Or maybe even some buildings, I can't imagine you'd let ppl crash into others homes and aptartments. Unless theres insurance and we can sue. But invisible walls every where will take away from the immersion. I can also imagine it will vary depending on whether ur on offical and unofficial servers. Fingers crossed it will be everything they hope to make it. Im taking a pretty big gamble that it will be

When i was alot younger, I got into that whole debate, "PC Master Race", PSN, and Xbox. Which is better. Then i grew up and seen that I was just robbing myself of unique experiences exlusive. These companies show me no love, no matter the thousands of dollars and just as many hours, I put into whatever platform I was on at the time. I now see it for what it really is. A business, to them it's make money. To us it's completely different. We dont play games because they are for a certain platform, or exclusive to one. That's why we get the platform, for the games. Now i think of myself as a gamer. I want to experience as much as I can. Im not gonna limit myself anymore, PC has lots of stuff I cant experience of PSN or Xbox, and vice versa.
