Yawn................. Really? Did you recently watch V for vendetta? -
Welcome Demo its nice to have you
-
Thank you Mr. Smith for posting here. Its an honor to meet you and be able to ask you some questions if you don't mind answering: In case of a huge increase of crime would private security companies be considered? If Elected would you request a police escort? How would you determine who becomes the police chief/would their be a vote? What are you're views on low level drug crimes? @GeneSmith
-
I will without a doubt not as a speaker but as a voice for the police force I think yourself and Mr. Cruz have good ideas but lets reinforce the campaign starting with the police, citizens, then the businesses
-
@GeneSmith I would post yourself in the police forums to gain their support but yes I am sure I will have questions
-
Hello Mr. Smith We in the police community have not had the honor to meet you nor hear you're ideas regarding safety, security, and compensation. Please send us something in the police forums I am sure you will get some hard hitting questions.
-
You guess? Becoming a leader there is no guessing please this is just ideas and thoughts for you and you're cabinet.

I have an issue with this whole FPS way of thinking and here are the reason why: 9mm Pistol average FPS is 1200 5.56 or .300 (average hunting rifle) 3000 fps General shotgun 2200 With the FPS you mentioned I assume you have limited knowledge on weapons and the use of them. A rifle, shotgun, pistol, and even a pellet gun can be deadly with the right user. I know the developers have been looking at ballistic reports trying to make gun fighting realistic but in the end you're FPS ideas just are not realistic. Police should have the same access to guns as civilians do but the rounds they have access to should be different. As many know you have HP (Hallow point) FMJ (Full Metal jacket) HE (High Explosive), and SP (Soft point) there are tons more but these are the basics. The gun no the public should have access to but the ammo no general ammo should be soft point while police use what the police chief allows. Moving on to SWAT and other special response units, these will be restricted weapons no one can own outside these groups. These will include your PSG1, M60, MP5A3, M240A1, etc.......... I think making you're gun laws much more basic don't try to get into FPS and all that because in reality it becomes much more complicated

Lol I have seen many like you come around different communities and yes they tend to disappear to a small room called a cell. -
I believe you just wait till the Modules come out
-
I know right the anticipation might kill us lol the Developers have a very excited community I am sure they will do whatever it takes to live up to expatiation.
-
You're very much welcomed to live that experience as LE with us here until things are released you might learn some new techniques and her some experiences you will learn from just like we will learn from your real life experience in nursing and EMT work.

Welcome to the forums @MittaBojangles enjoy.

Welcome Eric we have spoke on the police forums but I just wanted to say hello once again. -Ken

@Kaitlyn to be honest I figured that since you never mentioned anything regarding that field but you're experience will still help us allot. My girlfriend has her masters in therapy and also wants to be involved with policing here in Identity.
-
I am so glad I don't work in that field anymore to be honest. Policing in today's world is much to dangerous now of course my policing experience were mainly US Military bases and foreign countries so yeah civilian policing I am at a loss for but I could imagine its easily transferable. Seeing @Lavics79, @xVAULTxDWELLERx, @TheLegend27, @GotYourSix, and @Kaitlyn, we have some experience with real life situations along with in game situations. To be honest this group could be a huge benefit to the developers and the community regarding the game play regarding policing. Also I wanted to put this out there but the governor is something we should all watch, question, and focus on who we want elected since it could make our job easier or harder. So far I have had some great talks with @BobbyCruz and he seems very flexable in regards to us and businesses. Below you will find our conversation: Edit: @Motown maybe our ideas and talk could help.
-
@Lavics79 I like the style you mention police work is not something that could be considered easy. Its more about the ability of the officer to defuse situations and make connections to people they encounter.
-
I totally agree @Kaitlyn its going to be interesting to see how it all turns out and the type of people we get but so far its looking very good and promising.
-
@xVAULTxDWELLERx, @Lavics79 Hello to both of you awesome that we have so many people with real life experience I think with the real life and the game experience we could make the community much better/realistic.

@BobbyCruz Hello Mr. Cruz, I actually have a few more questions for yourself if you don't mind. Would tax rates go down when spending is down? Would you ever consider building your staff before launch so we all know who will be under power? How would you incorporate the police and local businesses together to assist each other? Whats the hourly pay for police? I have seen and read you're campaign message and I really like what I have seen -
Hello Thomas, I have a few questions for you along with some suggestions that you might consider, but first the questions. In case of a huge increase of crime would private security companies be considered? If Elected would you request a police escort? How would you determine who becomes the police chief/would their be a vote? What are you're views on low level drug crimes? Also wouldn't a fluctuating tax rate be better then a solid 30%? Crime is low or down why fund the same amount? Couldn't yourself and the police chief sit down and figure out expenses which would save the tax payer money along with pay you're police better rather then spending money on gear that is not needed at that time? @ThomasHetch

I love the idea to be honest but in reality and keeping things in the game realistic it just couldn't work. Police generally are not known to be extremely polite for many reasons. Now of course some are and some are not depending how the approach each situation. One idea would be though citizens could contact the department themselves to talk about the officers behavior either good or bad. But to be honest I had calls about myself saying I was very rude and angry during a traffic stop, come to find out its because they got a ticket and that made the driver view myself that way.

Thank you so much for the answers Mr. Cruz I am really enjoying the idea of you in control of our government. And thank you for keeping an open mind about the ideas I brought up.
