First of all the statement to be pro police and then have the "FBI" @FBI step in is very silly I hope he was not coached into that @FrancePourLaVie. If you have seen my prior posts I am very interested in policing people and to let you know a police department won't help with votes due to money we do this work because we want to not because there is money to be made. Also removing guns from civilians will cause you to violate a constitutional right which once a judge signs the warrant I might be the cop arresting you. I would change you're pitch and just say I will support the citizens and all emergency personal equally and do the best I can for the public. Just a Thought.

Just to add 10 codes in police departments are fading due to the issue with federal, state, city, and other towns using different codes generally brief speech would be used with the exception of the very common and broad use 10 codes.

There will be an elected Governor on the island with a staff that has the ability to change how the police force works by passing new laws/infractions. Since as you shown us there will be a progressive track how will an officer know how to deal with that new law/infraction? How do we know the officer just doesn't get into a uniform to rob people? How do we know that a player uses the role to push their criminal enterprise by calling code 4 at scenes that are not? So in the end there needs to be an application process and a training process. While also leadership that can make the training, SOP's, and help and guide officers to make the right choice. My ideas are to have a town hall election for higher leadership for the PD which then can use the town hall to recruit honest and law abiding players to act as officers with training and a comprehensive test.

@Heymikie53, @LuciousTimes, and @Turaxis First off I am running for Chief of Police not Governor. Also I see Turaxis does not like how myself or @Lil_Fish pick our top positions. Sadly currently its not about in the server experience if that is what you rather have then give the criminals a few weeks to get settled so they can knock the cops very fast. For a police department to work correctly on launch you need structure with experience in RL or Sim along with some people new to this field. You need structure and the ability to teach the police the Laws and server laws prior and during launch. A police department is not something just thrown together in two hours.

This is my plan for what ever official server we end up in. As I see it you're idea is more focused on no organization and let controlled chaos take over. As for "friends" getting high positions I am placing people in positions they are fit for. I am going after talent, real life experience, and RP experience for leadership positions for my proposed police department. If you would like to propose you're own that is totally fine but in you're own thread. I am trying to do what other people have done in the past make something organized. Just like companies, political parties, crime families etc.... I am just trying to bring organization to the police department. Thanks for you're concern. @Narc

Hello Law Enforcement Community, I just wanted to quickly touch face with you all regarding our status and developments. So far we are off to an amazing start to organize the police department more then it has been in the past. We will be setting up some Google Docs for everyone soon which will better show our rank system. There will also be a test function coming out soon for general acceptance, along with more job specific tests for certain groups within the department. As mentioned before we are just building this to give everyone a basic idea on how this will all run. Its going to be a learning experience for us all since we are unsure about the development of the PD. I also wanted to bring up the fact that this rank structure may not be what we all see when the server launches this is more for the developers to see the interest in certain positions and the structure we generally are looking for. I wanted to say thanks to everyone for the massive support thus far and please continue that while also spreading the word. Thanks again everyone.

I am looking for someone very good with Google Docs like making spreadsheets, Forums, and some other stuff to help organize the police department.
