As far as I know servers will be split by continents. @KevinLangston will play on US server, @FlyingDuck will play on EU. So I think their mafias would be on the servers they play on. Unless they want to branch out to other servers with clans or something...

There definitely won't be life sentences and I don't think executions are likely. Guess you can consider a permanent ban just that.

Boats are treated as vehicles, so they won't disappear. They'll just be stored at the garage... Or bay I guess. With houses, because they are unique and there can be only 1 owner per house per server- if you're not paying the "rent", you're evicted. Think of it as bills or something- you have to pay a small amount of money every X time. Why? Because it ensures you're EARNING money and actually are active. If it was "buy it- own it forever as long as you're active" you could just log into the game and go afk for 5-30 minutes, keeping the house, or HOUSES, taken. No clue about computers. There'll probably be a lot of designs of PCs and laptops in stores. Not sure to what extent you can personalize them!

My character moved out from her parents when she was 18 "to study". In reality she got pregnant by her boyfriend who broke up with her shortly before she found out about the pregnancy. Her parents were extremely Catholic and didn't even know she had a boyfriend in the first place. She knew they'd make her give the baby up for adoption, so she decided to keep it a secret. Didn't tell the father of the baby because she didn't want him in her life. She spent the money they gave her for university on baby stuff, but few months into the pregnancy she had a miscarriage. As a response to the emotional pain she turned to drugs and alcohol and got in debts, so now she's dancing.
