RP Encouragement
Vix replied to bigbangben's question in Tourism (Q&A)
There will be cults if players will create cults. So you can join an existing cult or make your own -
As far as I know they do have different "results" depending on where you got shot/cut, like limbs going limp. But I agree with @KevinLangston. Game is still a game and it's meant to be fun. Everything in the game, even prison, is still meant to be etertaining, not annoying or boring. And I fail to see how being pilled down to a bed in a hospital for a week, which might be hours or even days in rl, is fun. You can't work, you can't hang out with people, you can't really do anything apart from watching TV or browsing the internet, or eating, or taking pills. Doesn't sound like fun at all! If I got shot, endured the in-game week of boredom, got shot again and my life was saved by some doctor, I'd just quit the game until I could play again as a not-pilled-down-to-bed-character. It really sounds like dying would be a better option- you just wait a little while, respawn with less money/items than you had, but you're good to go and actually play the game and have fun! Even with broken bones- you can hang out with people, but you're painfully slow and in some cases can't work. For 2 weeks. Which again might be days in real life. You can't be a policeman with crutches. Or a stripper with a cast. You not only miss out on a huge part of the gameplay, but you also can't earn money, which means you can't buy basic necessities like food or pay your rent if you haven't saved up enough. Injury system you suggested here to me seems way worse than going to Identity's jail... The way I understand it in Identity after you go to a hospital, they treat you and you're 100% healed. Unless it's an addiction or something. You only suffer consequences of poor health/injuries before you see a doctor.

Aww thank you! ^u^ I'll do my best!
-
I don't even know what this means...
-
Add to that people "people who read but think that hour later devs got the answer to the question and just wait to be asked again".

If that's how weed works in real life. Can't really compare the stength of 2 from my own experience.

Yes but alcohol is still addictive and it still costs money. It should have some effects, apart from wobbly walking.

It'd be cool if getting drunk also made you receive less fall damage, since it also works like this in rl.

How will apartments and the pledge rewards work?
Vix replied to JamesLuck01's question in Tourism (Q&A)
You will get everything that was in your pledge on all official servers since they share data. Not sure about private servers though... Apartments and cars are unlimited as far as I know, so I think you'd have them there aswell. You should. It would suck if you pledged like $500, rented a server and got none of your pledge rewards there. So yeah, I think you'll get your cars, clothes, money and apartments on all servers. -
But... Identity will be have a big complex character customization. They've said many times they'd love for each character to be unique, individual, like real people are. I hope they'll do something similar to Black Desert, or at least B&S or even Sims. In a social game attack of clones would really ruin the experience!
-
Nope, that's all there was.

There's no actual list of weapons included in the game, so I'm going to link all weapons I know about that wil, won't and might or might not be in Identity. These are NOT all weapons there will be in the game! Just all I gathered so far, I might edit it and add more if I've missed anything... I'm not going to make a separate section for maybies, so I'll just put those that are most likely yes and most likely no in Yes and No. There are some things that are both confirmed and disconfirmed- it means there will be some specific items of the kind. Keep in mind that everything can change both before and after release. WILL BE: Guns 1 Guns 2 Guns 3 Brawling- meelee Automatics Assault rifles & automatics Hunting rifles 1 Hunting rifles 2 Tasers Purchase Explosives SWAT weaponry Police weaponry Police shotguns Rifles Non-lethal 1 Non-lethal 2 Tasers & paintball Meelee -------------------------- Realism Purchase Manufacture Black market Gun store Jammed Modification Skins WON'T BE: Swords Suicide vests Snipers 1 Snipers 2 Throwing knives Nukes Tranquilizer darts Explosives 1 Explosives 2 Tommy guns HK 416 Mounted guns Kicking Military

There's no info how long each will last. Private servers will most likely be able to adjust it, as well as the level of darkness. On official servers nights will be dark but to the point where you still see rather clearly. I think the 24 hour day should last about 3h-5h or so, with day time being about 65-80 of it. I'd want there to be times likes dusk, twilight, evening etc, so the time would pass smoothly.
-
Where would you smuggle guns? What border control? Identity is an island, one country, there are no borders to cross lol.
-
Well there has to be something apart from addiction when it comes to drugs, because no one would be like "Oh, I'll take meth to get addicted!", people would rather like to see the buffs/visual effects. And then addiction sneaks up on them.
-
There will be an airport on launch but with no aircrafts. Aircrafts might be added in future DLCs, but planes will more likely work like the train does- it's operated by an AI/NPC, can't be owned, can't be stopped, is used to fast travel.

Like on climbing walls?
-
I know, I read it. But I want to know where specifically, like a situation where it occurs so often to the point it should be added to the game because it's a rather "common" thing that'd add realism to the game. Where I live no one uses grappling hooks. Ever. So for me it'd be unrealistic to have civilians, cops and robbers climb stuff with grappling hooks, since only people who own them are weapon-freaks who collect these sort of things.
-
Yeah. And again- where do you see people in real life using it?
-
Where do you live to see people use grapling hooks? We're talking about realism here, not games. "Realistic hooks like in GTA V" is a contradiction. Realistic hooks are in rl. Not in games. And in rl no one uses grappling hooks unless they go hiking in the mountains.
