No, you can't steal clothes. Upon death you lose all things you had on you but clothing, it stays with you. I'm pretty sure you'd be able to change clothes though! Like if you kill someone you can go hide somewhere and just change your outfit into something different. Not sure if you could change clothes like in GTA V, as in you always have them on you and can change outfits whenever, but if not you'll probably be able to store them in your inventory. You can also wear a mask but that's just additional info.

I began to wonder if Sims franchise/EA has copyrighted the idea or something. I mean, Sims are a big franchise and they earn a ton of money. Everyone knows about Sims, even people who never played it. It's hard to believe no one ever tried to make anything Sim-like. o:

Your house won't disappear or be available for purchase when you log out, unless you log out and don't come back for long enough to miss paying your rent. There's a limited amount of houses on each server, you won't share houses from server to server, but they'll look the same by default. You can customize interiors when you purchase a house, can't change exteriors and I believe if you lose your house the furniture and decorations you bought are yours to keep and interior design changes to default. The only way to lose a house is if you stop paying the rent- you'll get kicked out and become most likely homeless, as the starting hotel will likely charge you rent aswell.

Yeah. It's great that such great developers figured out we're short on those titles Most people I know love roleplay and making their own characters but hate making or describing houses, interior designs etc. I have no clue why there are so many building games! I'd love more life simulators.

I'd call it a "Life sim". It's so weird that there are so many Building sims but when it comes to Life sims there's literally only Sims and few bad mobile games.

The thing is that Hitmen aren't "in game"- they're not supported by game mechanics, so there won't be a secret "hitmen command" in chat. Maybe in the modded private servers or if many users will want hitman to be a real job and the devs will implement it after release, but right now it's not in plans, so the only way for a hitman to get their clients is actively searching for them himself. You can request the client to pay you some of the final price in advance, or pay the full price in advance, but there's nothing forcing the client to pay or forcing a paid hitman to do their job, so you can get ripped off either way. And if you're "the average Joey" I really doubt you'll have 250k to throw at a hitman. Money in Identity will be realistic, you won't earn this much on an "average Joey job" and I don't know how about you, but if I saved that much I really wouldn't want to throw it on something that's so risky. There's nothing protect the deal, it's based on trust and role play. And the Hitman is doing their job for the money- nothing prevents them from accepting a counter-contract from the target they were supposed to kill and going after you instead. Nothing ensures they'll actually go after the target at all, they might just ask you to pay them "Half now, other half after the deal" and never come back. AND it's literally just few minutes of being dead. Few minutes that might cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. I don't see it being worthy at all.

Oh I'd love to live near the beach! In every MMORPG I play I try to swim everytime I'm close to water. Even if you can't swim in the game (F YOU FFXIV, MAKING A DAMN BEACH ISLAND AND SWIMSUITS AND NO SWIMMING ANIMATION, JUST WALKING INTO WATER UNTIL IT REACHES YOUR ANKLES). So if I'll be able to afford it and the house still will be there for the taking I'd be happy to buy it Otherwise I'll just seduce the house owner so s/he'll make me their roommate. ^u^

Yeah. It just doesn't seem worth it, in my opinion at least. I'd rather go with bounty hunter- you're sure to get paid because the job is "official" and you work with the law, so you won't get punished.
