Does the character's data will be saved in all the servers?
Vix replied to YotBox's topic in The Town Square
Everything that is unique will be server bonded. So things like apartments, clothes, pets, cars, crimes etc will most likely be servers-wide, character appearance and stats included. Buildings- no. Buildings can have 1 owner at a time on a single server. -
There are hotels with an infinite amount of apartments. When you start playing you're provided a simple apartment where you'll live until you can afford something better. Houses are unique and can be owned only by 1 player per server, so no, you won't start with a whole house!

@Kickapoo Limit: You have to wear sandals all the time and you're constantly being followed by 12 men in dresses. Power: Mermaid singing ability to seduce all the men!
-
Limit: You're a vegan. Power: All money you touch +1s! (like if you touch a 1 dollar bill it becomes a 10, if you touch a 50 dollar bill it becomes a 100, if you touch 1 cent it becomes 2 cents etc)

I started gaming when I was 9 so. *shrugs* As long as someone has manners and isn't a blatant troll I don't care if they're 95 or 11.

I think all of us would check out all the positions 1st day of playing.

Tbh, if they added the sexy stuff, my char wouldn't leave her bed.

I read an article about the game on one of Polish MMORPG News websites, watched the video and here I am. Generally I love mmorpgs, role play and life simulators with a wide character customization, so I fell in love with the ideas behind Identity immediately.
-
I bring up Identity every now and then on Black Desert Online forums.

Apart from aforementioned talking and social media- Identity aims to be very player-interaction driven, meaning you'll socialize whether you want it or not on every step. Unless you choose to live in a secluded forest or swamp. Identity will have a lot of places for you to interact with other people, including pubs, nightclubs, karaoke clubs, paintball matches, sports, time square, cinema etc, but even just casually walking the streets you'll meet players. Players will be policemen, firemen, strippers, thieves, homeless men laying on the street and so much more. It's pretty much impossible not to talk to someone every now and then, no matter what your career will be. But generally, if you're looking for a place to get some friends- visit a karaoke club or a pub and have a little chit chat over a drink or something. About kisses etc:

Limit: You can only do Hadoken when Dragon Ball Z is playing on a TV near you. Power: Whenever I dance on the pole people throw 100s instead of 1s!

Not sure if they will be specifically at tattoo parlors, but I'm sure we'll see piercings.

No detailed description yet, but I have some tweets from official @Identityrpg twitter for you. -
Will this game allow custom scripting and privately hosted servers?
Vix replied to Tashi's question in Tourism (Q&A)
You won't be able to customize the map. At least not on release, afaik. Maybe later down the line. You can customize various options that affect the map (weather, length of day and night, probably how often resources regenerate if ever, jobs, proffessions, laws etc). You can't move houses or lakes etc. -
I don't know the amount, but I know I'm going to dance on the counter!
-
I'm sorry, I've got nothing. If you won't get an official server for Australia/New Zealand/Ocenia, you should still be able to rent out a private server, but I'm gonna call reinforments either way and hope for the best. @Motown

As many as people keep repeating the same question.

Metal detectors have a little deceiving name- they're more like metal removers, meaning that upon entering a safe zone your weapons are unaccessible or just removed from your inventory for the time of your stay. Either way, you can't use them in safe zones. Not sure how shooting from "danger zone" into a safe zone will work (as in you're in a danger zone and you shot someone who's on the edge of the safe zone), but we also don't really know how zones will look like (are they OW, buildings?).
-
Cash in Identity will have realistic value (no shirts for $25 000, unless it's Identity's version of Gucci or something). You'll most likely earn money similar to USA's wages, and prices of items will also be close to those of USA. Not sure how expensive are cars or apartments in America though.

*sigh* Alright, there we go. 1. You can own as many houses/apartments as you managed to purchase, but you'll have to pay taxes for each one. They also want to make players able to rent them out to other players for money. (can't find tweets so has to be in either their video or an interview on yt) 2. I'm pretty sure Gun Stores will have only NPC as employees, but there will be in the game. You can sell firearms illegally aswell. 3. Uh... If you get into an accident, I guess? o: 4. Posted Black Market above, but there's "deep web" aswell: 5. 6. 7. Not sure here. 8. At this point I'm pretty sure you didn't watch their trailer on youtube, they clearly said they'll be adding instruments you'll be able to compose music with. 9. Afaik insurance is automated, taxes are automated (when it comes to house they're not automated if you're renting) and if you find a way to scam players- then there's scam. You have to be clever on your own if you want to go down that path, afaik there's not that much support when it comes to game's mechanics here. 10. They can be roleplayed between players, unless server has white listing or your boss doesn't want it. 11. 12. 13. 14. You can roleplay it, but it won't be supported by game's mechanics, apart from being able to kidnap players. 15.

#money phone who callin? Money should be an actual object
Vix replied to Iceyfresh225's topic in Ideas & Suggestions
^ There will also be strippers in game, so they'll probably make the "Make It Rain" animation. You probably won't be able to walk around with money in your hand though.
