I heard that communication will be done over VOIP but will there still be a typing feature, I know that back on ArmA if I was multitasking such as watching a youtube video on the side I'd prefer to type over talk and im sure a lot of people share this feeling as well. So will the typing feature be there?

I saw that as well but recently (looking at some of the dev updates) and forum posts its been mentionned less and less so I was hoping its still there

Is anyone here planning on starting up a small community, meaning a community that is not actively doing everything it can to tack on new players but rather a community with a fixed small to moderate number of players. IDK how everyone else prefers to play but I prefer a small community where I play with people I get to know rather than meeting a new person everyday. Leave your thoughts and do let me know if ur planning on starting one of those up

Im trying to look at this from another perspective, what if someone legitimately has to go for an IRL situation how do they deal with that, because I don't find it fair that they should be punished for having to go IRL(provided they aint abusing the system). IK ppl will quote me and give me the standard they should have planned ahead but keep in mind we don't always have control over RL and it is more important than any game so we shouldnt ban someone for that

I like that idea though it all comes down to implementation

@ST_Helios A3L had a pretty big map so were some maps for arma 2 Island life and small communities worked just fine on them

This may have already been answered but will the game feature an ingame cellphone that we can use to call other players halfway across the map

So I've heard the extreme side where a system exist to make virtually no crime happen but at the same time there still needs to be some for actual RP(that being said i don't want to see it overdone either and have this game turn into some sort of island life). anyone know how any of this is going to work
