Yes there can be new information, I agree with that. But they have been working hard on programming, bug fixing, and troubleshooting for over a month now on the ui system for the player housing. It is a complex and large part of the game as a whole. If it does not work properly, inventory system, placement of objects and interaction with said objects will not work. You have to understand that we will be placing possibly a 100+ objects in a house that all have to work in unison with each other. That takes time to get right. And there is a lot of credible information in these forums it just takes time to sift through all the posts to find them. It would help if people stopped posting, basically the same, but separate, posts every day that are just taking up space. It's almost like there is no comprehensive skills within majority of the people in the forum. The devs have their own schedules and deadlines. Some are met and some are not. Some are easy and some are difficult. Be patient, and the information will be there. We all want this game out asap. We are on the same side trust me.

You need to maybe read over your first whiny condescending post... bitching about a money grab, and whining about a dev update. It's not like a dev update is going to tell you anything different, then what they have been saying on streams. Also scattered in responses all around this forum are explanations of what has been going on. Get some information before posting something that is not original or even accurate.
-
I haven't seen one thing posted by a complainer on this forum, that changed a release date for anything so far. You are still left in the dark until it is released... I don't understand this idea that has been bred into majority of you guys, that bitching and moaning gets you what you want in life. It's a really bad habit that just makes you look childish.
-
Why do people always seem to complain on mondays? If you really feel the need to whine, at least do it on a Friday when you know the dev's have actually been at work. Don't bitch at noon on a Monday, when you know damn well they have been enjoying their weekend off with family and friends. Or the preferred option... shut the f**k up and wait for information to come out.
-
I think there should be a new rule in the forum... If you don't know what you are talking about, then keep your mouth shut. This forum has really just become a list of who... Is a complainer... Has no idea what game developers actually do... Rants about how much time they put into monitoring the forum... Complains about supporting a game in very early production... Compares identity to nomans sky, GTA V, and that other huge space game ( forgot the name)... truly understand the ups and downs of game development, and the difficulties a small-ish team are going to come across in the different stages of the game... Will be patient and try to defend Asylum and their team of great artists and programmers... Is just an annoying troll...

while on a telephone call...
Homicyd posted a question in Tourism (Q&A)
Say your standing in line at the movies and you get a phone call. When you answer the phone will it automatically become a private chat where nobody around your person can hear? Or will you need to be considerate of who's standing around you, and speak wisely? -
No, it comes with passport which is game access
-
Majority of the people starting businesses are doing it for the role playing.for instance, there isnt content to run a private sucurity service, but you can create a business with a specific uniform and gun permit and role play as private security, or bodyguard. The game will have the basics, which will allow people to use their rp imaginations. You don't need specific content to role play. These forums are not for answering questions only, but for people to enjoy rp as well. (Which i see you have a very tuned love of) People are excited. They understand the state of the game. Most people have been here for the better part of a year and have been following the game. For people asking about the game, their questions are answered from reliable sources (twitter, reddit, and other dev interviews) or they are told where find them. About all these "hopes" that people have about the game, let them enjoy the time until release. What people are doing and saying in the forum does not negatively affect people why does it matter so much. When the game is released we will all see what content is provided. BTW I'm not trying to be rude, just have a different opinion on forum actions I guess. I only believe what I hear and see from the devs. If people do their research about the game like they should, then when they stumble across a role play with unverified info, then they should take it for what it is ( ie an entertaining role play)

I know you did man I was typing while you posted that. I did write this in my defense. I also edited my first stetement... I feel so attacked.

He does all the things a moderator would do... he helps everyone, and does what he can to help get answers to questions. The "Moderator" tag isn't necessarily needed to help others is it?
-
Lmao! Probably because they could get in trouble if they were smoking weed anywhere you could smoke a vape. In Florida medical green was recently passed so things man change soon
-
Wow! Very harsh kickapoo. It was a joke. Obviously not a good one...
-
Your right! It was just an inconsiderate observation that most vape users are douchebags. A lot of people In my area do it to be hip and cool not what it's intended for, which is to help slowly break the need of nicotine in cigarette smokers.

Are you trying to start a Fake News issue in the forum? Lol Hairygrenade is a moderator whom speaks with the devs to solve questions needing answers. Jamesluck is like a moderator he uses all info available to find answers to as many questions as he can (like you should before claiming info Givin is false) he also states in all of his posts whether what he is saying is his own opinion. So, my two cents: when people like you make statements about people without mentioning names, about their inaccurate answers to in-game topics, rules, jobs, items, etc., please remind yourself that if you cannot possibly know whether or not (due to lack of searching on your part) its true, it makes you look really silly if you act all knowing.
-
This could potentially be a great idea for a business as well. Even more immersion
-
Are you role playing a douchebag?
-
If they were to add it that would be nice I guess. I have a feeling if they did it would run like selling drugs you do all the gathering and refining of resources and sell it to a npc. It would not affect the ability for players to purchase petrol ( prices may vary ) if nobody was collecting oil. It would just simply mean nobody chose that career. They can't put a choke hold on the whole server if nobody wanted to be in oil industry. This is all just my opinion.

About the logos... are we going to have the option to import a logo that we create with other software? Photoshop, Gimp, etc
-
There will not be undercover cop options from what I've heard. They want people to know who the cops are. Detective or not. They already have police uniforms, and they look very much like laps uniforms. There is also a light brown state trooper type uniform I believe. There will be player voted Mayors. Yes, they can control taxes and laws. Not sure if you will need to be initiated for gangs, but the gangs will be run by players not npc, so for rp sakes I'm sure there will be some kind of task to complete. There is customizing options and tuning options foe cars, there is a racing rp available in game as well. I believe there is going to be racetrack(s) and there will be illegal street racing. Not sure about nitrous systems haven't released that kind of info yet. For businesses yes you can hire other players to work for you. For boring tasks like standing at a register npc's will be in place. As for you being sceptic, it's completely normal. I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little sceptic. The only thing is, don't compare it to games like No Man's Sky or an rp mod. This is a built from the ground up RP game. It's not trying to be anything but a game where you can socialize and play in character completing tasks. It's a unique mmo, nothing else like it to compare it to. I suggest for you not to purchase anything until you see what the game is about through module releases, watch videos on youtube. Hope I helped Ps. If you need help moving into a new residence or you start a business and need inventory shipped just give Fox Freight a call!
-
My main focus is to own and operate a logistics company, making sure all the hard working designers, craftsman, artists, and shop owners get all their shipping and receiving needs met.
-
I agree with you jremi, I also think it would add to the immersion when you make detective and you have some senseless murders to solve. they said there would be a fingerprint and clue system that the police have access to. finding the murderer, presenting evidence in court and getting them a long prison term.

If the game is going to be as thorough as we all believe, then players are not going to turn it into GTA. Your not going to start with money, so you are going to need to do something to make cash legal or illegal. which means your going to need to get a job/career to feed your need to troll or kill people with guns or vehicles. guns need ammo (money) cars need repairs and gasoline (money) you need a place to live as well, I doubt the game will lack evictions from unpaid rent. so if all you want to do is troll or kill everyone you see, then the game itself will filter you out. rp is almost a necessity to a lasting great gaming experience with Identity. Only serious Rp gamers will get to really see what Identity is about. Trolls will realize early on that all the work you have to do in order to keep your stupidity alive is not worth it and give up. The devs will keep their promises and make it even harder for trolls to get their fix with safe zones and non-pvp areas. There will be killings and crazy people, that's what the cops are for. I believe the only way the cops will have fun playing is if they have some crazies to track down. Sorry for such a long post, I just think the game will filter out the non-serious role players and the ones that manage to stay will just add to the immersion. the game needs some people that don't follow the rules. ( and breathe ) lol

Does module progress carry-on?
Homicyd posted a question in Tourism (Q&A)
I just wanted to clarify if possible... devs have mentioned that modules will be up and running, and constantly updated until release of full game. So does that mean any progress ( money, cars, real estate, or business status) made through the modules is going to carry-on to full release version? -
Does module progress carry-on?

Ok, sounds reasonable was just curious. thanks -
I think running a backwoods still for moonshine in a stream somewhere in the back woods could be another great illegal activity to do. if alcohol consumption is going to be part of the game it's could be a good moneymaker. plus more drunk drivers another thing for cops to look out for on the streets.
