"Passionate kiss, like spider's web, soon lead to undoing of fly" - Confucius

(Obviously not, but it made me chuckle when I first read it :D )

Lol did he actually say that? Does it really mean what I think it means or was it meant to mean something else but it just sounds sexual?

lol I love it either way, great addition!

  2. Constructive Criticism:

Tax rates seem pretty good up until we get to the higher income levels. Perhaps having half of your money taken at 1,000,000 is a little too much?

Definitely need some more detail on the healthcare plan, ie: How exactly do you plan to achieve an affordable health care act?

Your slogan? are you implying wealthy individuals will be forced to give a certain percentage of their wealth to charities and such, or are you implying that wealthy people should feel obliged to do so?

How do you plan to run a business and an island at the same time? Hopefully you plan on having someone to take care of the business while you tend to politics? as well as when you first jump into Identity, which will you pursue first: business or politics?

Good Luck with your campaign and business!

i see many people have been claiming businesses already on the forums, would i have to also announce my business here on the forums first? also for example can i open a business similar to someone else and we compete?

Of course you can! Although it would probably be best to make sure your buisness has SOMETHING unique about it to prevent it from being outcompeted by previously established businesses. Also, this post would probably fit more in the questions area of the forums. Good luck!

  6. Hey there.

Yes, fishing will be a thing in Identity.

Please try using the search feature found in the top right before asking any questions, as this question has been asked before.

I can dig the real life movies, but I'd love to be able to play youtube videos and twitch streams in the cinema.

Well T.Vs in your house will have this feature so it makes sense for the cinema to only play actual movies, that way there is an actual incentive to visit the theatre opposed to watching the same thing from home on your T.V

  8. Hello there and welcome to the Identity community!

it has been confirmed that Identity will be available on steam upon release, so no worries there. As for development, I am absolutely positive the team will be able to complete it. They have been working on it for two years, which, contradictory to what you have said, is actually a long time for a team so small. Besides, with a great community like this, with tons of backing, why wouldn't they finish this amazing project?

feel free to do some more research on the game, weather it be through the search feature on the forums, or through YouTube videos and channels. Personally, I recommend watching @powergaming7 youtube channel, as he goes through every single prospect Identity has to offer and provides as much information as is possible, and if you haven't already, check out Identitys housing customization video, which shows some neat gamplay mechanics.

I hope this was of some assistance.

Weather it be a lone singer, a band, or an orchestra, every musician needs a manager, someone to organize events, concerts, interviews, fan meetups, autograph signings, everything a well organized music structure such as yourself needs and deserves. I would like to be that somebody, or should I say my company. I am Bob Ross, CEO of Bob Ross Inc: Promoter of the Arts. One of the branches of Bob Ross Inc is the Bob Ross Studios, soon to be number one in music production and distribution. You can click on my signature for more info but I'll give you a brief summary. If you manage to find enough members for your orchestra, we will fully brand you as one of the best in Identity with our top advertising methods. Radio, television, billboards, we will make your group a household name. Not only that, but we will scheduled concerts so that your music can be heard and appreciated. And lets not forget the fat checks your orchestra members will receive through all those concert tickets and/or all records sold (which we of course will handle the production and distribution of). Going through us, you have nothing to lose (except for a small percentage of earnings that go to us), and everything to gain. If you are interested, please do PM me.

    Thanks,

  12. Please feel free to correct me but I though that when you publish books they end up going to the Library, and therefore you can't really make a profit off of them.

  13. Cool Jaxen! I'm from Canada as well! Do you mind sharing what city or whereabouts you are in Canada?

I'm From Edmonton Alberta, for all you Americans it's pretty much the Texas of Canada.

And yeah the Canadian dollar is pretty trash right now

I agree that by establishing such a diverse company early you can potentially control the market of such things. I see a lot of potential ideas that could be incorporated as well with a larger support system. Perhaps you may be interested in working together in a more favorable arrangement? Take a look at this link for an idea I've posted and see if you'd be willing to sign on as an early representative, and potentially an accelerated recruiting rate?

My idea will require lots of delivery / trucking services as well as secure trade routes which I think we could all profit from. Having manpower and prestigious backers would also sway off unwanted threats and theft.

I took a look at it and your proposition sounds very intriguing! I will contact you in PM shortly.

So you think only movies that are in theaters require license fees for third party users? U mad?

Calm down man. I never said that. Im just saying that they are most likely older movies playing in the game theatres, and like @Luck was so kind to point out, copyrights do expire. Again, I admit I am ill informed in the matter and am providing my best insights, so please do KINDLY and respectfully feel free to correct me.

No, the real movies are the ones which are free or something as getting approval rights would cost a lot and so only movies which are not in need to have that license will be in the game.

Oh ok this makes more sense. Thanks for correcting me
