Correction, it'll be published to steam by the end of the month and then will be verified by steam which will take up to a few weeks and then we'll be able to play hopefully before November ends.

Then why are you even here? If you so clearly believe it's a scam why do you still care what happens here? If you were genuinely concerned about the state of the game to the point where you blatantly think it's a scam why not just go and get a refund and leave this behind? Always the same with the scam babies, happy to spend all your time here saying how much of a scam it is yet you won't do anything about it. If you've no interest in the game, which clearly you no longer have any then go and occupy yourself with something better to do than continuously giving your input which nobody is asking for. As for being defensive you can call it what you will, I'm just a backer who's fed up of hearing the same old drivel about how it's a scam and the devs are lying etc.

You'd have some merit but it's not a scam and just because a game takes time to develop and has snags that pop doesn't automatically make it a scam, furthermore just because people like you are developers doesn't automatically mean you know better than everyone else and doesn't give you the right to call scam just because progress isn't up to your standards

There's a difference between finding tiny bugs that can be fixed down the line and having to fix major bugs before release. I'd rather wait because the game and developers aren't going anywhere and let's be honest, severe bugs such as the apartment elevator and such need to be fixed.

The thread in particular isn't the issue it's certain individuals and they should be monitored for their behavior

The side that I heard was that he had multiple counts of domestic violence against his pregnant girlfriend and that he'd also raped her, on top of that I believe one of his music videos potrayed a white kid being hanged which I find bang out of order. Just because he might have been charitable doesn't mean he don't have skeletons in his closet and likewise we may only have heard one side, either way he's dead and if he has done all things people have accused him of he'll burn in hell. This isn't really relevant to forums so I don't understand why this is even a conversation.

Except we aren't blinded or fanboys. We're dedicated individuals who believe in the game and know by this point it isn't a scam unlike all the naysayers. We're people dedicated to backing this project with the intention of it becoming a success and if that makes us fanboys in the eyes of people such as yourself so be it.

Hear hear. I agree, we all stand behind John and the whole asylum team and have done throughout this entire process despite some blockades and delays happening. We should all be sticking together and helping the devs in anyway we can and if there are people who still think this game is a scam then I say bah humbug to you. My personal message to the devs is this: You have all of our support and love no matter what and we all stand firmly behind you. Thank you all and keep strong.

Finally got my steam key and it's activated yessssssss!!!. How do you go about streaming town square via YouTube? As I'd like to be able to.

Going to say the same thing I say to everyone else. Get some patience and wait like the rest of us, if that's too much for you go and do something until the town square releases. I swear to honest god if people keep moaning after TS comes out I'm going to be royally fudged off, this constant spam of wahing posts needs to stop.

Actually the whole point of these specific pets is that they're unique, you can only buy them on here and not in game. If you want unique pets buy them with real cash and help fund development.

It's everyone that's under 18 that are the worst. They have no patience and want everything right now. Fed up of reading it every day/week.

Judging from all these posts none of y'all know what patience is. Day after day of constant whinging posts, yeah we get it you all think the game is a scam because you can't play it right here and now. I swear kids and young people can't go a week without having everything when they want it and this is coming from someone in their early 20's!! I've said it before and I'll say it again, mods need to keep closing these posts because they're pointless and don't bring anything to the table other than people crying about the same things that have been answered and explained 100 times.

And why exactly would a class action lawsuits be coming their way? They haven't done anything illegal and it's not a crime to use real life images as a starting point to mold your work. The devs will be fine, whatever you heard is purely Chinese whispers and highly unlikely to happen, the devs wouldn't continue to work on this if they knew they'd be liable to be sued for some reason. Just because you may be a real developer doesn't mean you know for sure they're selling us garbage, it's a genre of itself and a dream. Nothing happens overnight and Rome wasn't built in a day.

Anything the devs sell in the store will never allow a competitive advantage other players. That's why we can purchase different clothing, apartments, pets etc. This isn't like GTA where it's blatantly pay to win with all the weapons and overpowered vehicles you can buy with cash obtained from shark cards.

I went all the way and bought the VIP package. I'm considering saving up and purchasing the standalone penthouse and maybe a cat or dog. I also purchased the vanity phone number because why not? Although I suppose it's pointless telling someone to purchase the VIP because A you need to be really invested in the game and B you need to have 500 dollars or equivalent.
