Hello all. As a potential future Governor, I thought it would be a great idea for all of the candidates get together in a group chat somewhere and discuss some political guidelines that we will all follow. Things like no false promises, etc. essentially just some guidelines that we all have to follow in order to be classed as an eligible candidate. In America you have to be an american born citizen and over 18 I believe, and while I know these don't apply here its the same concept. These guidelines can be ignored but it will seriously hinder your chances of becoming Governor. I also want to discuss certain laws. We should decide a set of laws that cannot be changed, for example murder. If you win the election, you must enforce these laws. So for example having a 30% tax wouldn't be one because each Governor can decide what they think will suit the economy, but things like theft should never be allowed no matter who is in charge. Again, you can change these set laws but we as candidates will do everything we can to ensure you only win if you follow these laws and guidelines. We won't include any that there is conflict on, for example maybe 3/10 people don't agree with you having to keep your promises, so that wouldn't be included. Once we have completed these lists and conflicts, I will make a post outlining everything for the citizens so that they know if we are breaking the standards. I think it would do the opposite. Arma does it right, but I dont see how me walking down the street and seeing someone instantly break into a dance animation with the same animation as everyone else around them it would actually take away the sincerity of the roleplay and make it seem more like a joke. If you have ever played Gmod you will know how bad it is with full body moving emotes.

I dont know if this has been settled yet but I would just like to say there is a huge difference between taking guns away and not allowing them in the first place.

Hello all. I am Joel Keys, founder & CEO of Keys High-End Apparel and The People's Party. I am here today to announce my official running for office in the game providing that I can own a business alongside my campaign. Information About Me and TPP If you haven't already, I strongly recommend that you read the policies of The People's Party so you are aware roughly of my principles and ideologies. Once you have read my party's policies, you are probably shocked that I am proposing higher taxes than most. I know that at first some of you may be disappointed, but I would ask you to read my most recent (as of 22:48 on the 20th of December) reply on TPP. I explain why higher taxes aren't all as bad as they seem. The ideals and policies of TPP are subject to change, and act as merely a rough guideline for anyone running under our party. Individual candidates do not have any obligation to strictly abide by the policies outlined in my post on TPP. If, for example higher taxes aren't doing much for the economy, I will lower them but only if it benefits the citizens. Probably one of the most reassuring aspects of me running for Governor is that I DO own a (projectably) successful business, so I have no financial agenda to accomplish by running for office. My only agenda is to assure that we all as citizens live the best possible life while earning a living. In fact, me becoming Governor will negatively impact my income due to my committees and programmes that I wish to put into place. Yes, those will be tax run programmes however I am having to take on unreliable convicts and newbies as employees and pay them, which won't be good for me. I truly urge you to think carefully about who you vote for, if it's not me PLEASE don't allow low taxes to be a seller for you, it won't work. Let me know your thoughts below.

I stated the following, "I do not intend on running for office.", meaning at the time of the post I did not intend on running which is true. I never said I would never run for office because I knew it was a possibility. If anything that sentence should make you trust me more, the fact that I could have very easily went back and changed it but chose not to shows my transparency with the public. Everyone changes their moods, opinions and statements. As a matter of fact I think Identity would be worse with a Governor who doesn't change his moods, opinions and statements. So long as you can justify it and the change is for the better, I don't see the issue. I did, however do some research of my own and I happened across a statement you made in a post which says, So yes, I do understand that you have to try and put the opposition down to get more votes for yourself but please, I implore you to make sure you're actually correcting a mistake or calling out something I did wrong rather than scrape the bottom of the barrel to gather any shred of material you can use to make the opposing candidates look bad. Also pick something that doesn't make yourself look imbecilic while simultaneously strengthening my campaign. Happy elections

I don't plan on joining anything like this. I want to be as law abiding as possible and earn my way to the top of the fashion industry. What I prefer to do with things like this is make friends with the leaders. This way, I am not officially affiliated with your group, but I can provide favours and receive them in return. No. God no. This isn't Rust. You can't "raid" peoples homes by crushing their wooden crates. You work very hard to earn a home, I don't want to be worried of coming back on to find by house has been looted. Do house robberies happen IRL? Yes, but not very often. Implementing this system would make every kid and every wanna be mafia break into houses galore and it simply doesn't work. Why do we not just put down wooden crates IRL in our homes? Because they are fuck ugly. A house in Identity isn't like Rust where if you are caught you can pack up and build a new one, they take a very long time to acquire. The only practical use for a home is to safely store items in and save your game, and I wouldn't fancy paying hundreds of thousands of hard earned cash for a save zone. There will be plenty of things to do as a criminal, but not all of us want to be involved with this kinda shit, not all of us wanna be criminals. Me personally I want to be a legitimate businessman who never has any run-ins with the law, I don't want to have to worry about some newbie with a lockpick breaking in while I'm not there and stealing my shit. Having said that, I do think a hit-man should would in theory be able to break into a home, wait for the target and kill him there and then. This is acceptable, but again a home is hard earned and should be everyone's safe haven unless you are wanted obviously. Please, for the love of all that is holy do NOT implement a home invasion system.

Hello. I recently had a thought spring to mind, that being how the making of items in game will be. With my field being fashion, I am most interested in how the attire manufacturing system will work, it would be a major letdown if the only clothes I could make was by mixing and matching presets to make a new unique item, i.e picking a predefined set of arms to go with a predefined set of pockets to go with a predefined set of lapels etc. On the other hand, I dont see you making us 3D model fully customised clothing, so I am very interested to know how this system will work.

I am the CEO of Keys High-End Apparel and I am trying to put in place a viable business plan so that I know who gets paid what and what my projected overhead is gonna be etc. but I am finding it difficult as we dont know alot about money. How valuable is it? Donating $5000 IRL will get you $15,000 in-game, is this how valuable money is? One real life dollar is ~ three in-game dollars? Meaning a decent in game pay would be $750/week? Basically I need to know roughly how much a reasonable pay would be and what the estimated costs fir manufacturing clothes are etc. so I can work out contracts with other businesses etc. Thanks.

Ah, that makes a bit more sense. Again, fully agree with that. The security firms are especially annoying, claiming to have amazing response times and armoured cars etc.

Its called advertising sweetheart. If you claim that you are a well known company now, that helps to make you well known so that when the game does come out people will notice you and remember you from the forums. Its getting your name out there, AKA business. Instead of telling businesses not to advertise, tell potential customers to keep their expectations low. Real life companies use these tactics all the time, its just how business works. Fully agree with your first point though, some hierarchies are unneeded, but I do understand the need for some. Its better to have a structure now and leave empty slots than change the structure down the line.
