No actually I won't attack this post. This a reasonable response, and instead of digging a deeper hole you admitted to a few mistakes. Good luck with your campaign, THIS is how you should answer criticism.
-
You are inconsistent yet again. See below. So no. You didn't only mention it because of my claims. Also, my claims are 100% true. Here is a snippet from an article written by www.pscu.org. Also the following statement comes no where near close to an response to my first point. So, I have given you the facts. I cannot wait to see your poor attempt at an argument back. You are a BANK owner running for governor who wants to implement a money making scheme into the government.
-
Well you just made yourself back on my list. I have made criticisms about other candidates and they seem to go into full defensive mode and turn it into a full blown argument. You regarded my points, admitted they make sense and are saying you will consider them if and when your own system doesn't work out. Very respectable response, I appreciate that a lot.

Oh dear. You just excluded yourself from my list of people I may potentially vote for. I can't stand these potheads who think that they are doctors. Marijuana does harm you whether you like it or not. You can view the NHS's official report on effects of cannabis on the body here. I well and truly despise the attitude of "oh its just a plant" or "its natural", because that logic and thought process is quite frankly bullshit. Cyanide comes from nature, it is in nuts, fruits and beans and cyanide is a poison that will kill and I quote, "90% of 43 people in 3-6 hours". Cannabis is a health risk, and while I am certainly for the use of medical marijuana, legalising the recreational use just shows how childish and misinformed you are.

Voting for the "Dark" sides will probably work ?!

Slavery was once legal. So was doing whatever you wanted to your wife because by law you used to own her. Legalising things does not change the fact that the actions are despicable, just removes the punishment. I do not understand why he thought this was a good idea, I am glad you agree with me though. -
My question isn't what if you fail the election. My question is what if you succeed. Then you will start this bank in the government. So what happens when someone else wins after you, do you take the bank with you or do you leave your idea to someone else leaving you with nothing? Why would you leave yourself with nothing? I raise the argument again that having a plan in case you don't win just shows a lack of belief in your own campaign. As for the separation of powers, I think the rest of the candidates failed to mention this because let's face it, it's common sense. The US has a separation of powers, as does the UK, and Germany, and most other countries which are ranked high on the best countries registrar, has a separation of powers. This is just obvious, because the game will probably have this mechanic built in any way. If it doesn't its probably because there is a max of 300 people per server, meaning an extensive government would take up half of the player base. And yes, I know what a credit union is thank you. But you change the terminology so frequently that I find it hard to believe you are being honest about any of the rubbish that comes out of your words. First it was a bank, then a national bank, then a credit union, who knows what's gonna be next. You mention how you were the economic adviser of Gene Smith during his campaign. This, combined with the fact that you own a bank which you intend on merging into the government, shows that money plays a huge part in your life. You are indecisive, you have a questionable agenda, untrustworthy, and you try to patronise me because I am arguing points about your campaign. You will not be receiving my vote, and hopefully no one else's vote that has their head on right.

Alright you appear to be misreading my words so allow me to paint it clearly. You cannot run a bank and pretend like you will make it non-profit just because you get Governor. I don't know what world you are living in to think that banks aren't ran for profit, because they are. Banks are a business, not a charity. You state that you will go back to for-profit if you fail, showing us that you do care about money more than winning because if you truly wanted to win there wouldn't be an "if I don't win i'll do this" it should be a "I will in, no doubt about it." You have shown us that you have little faith in your own success yet plead for the public to put faith in your leadership. If you are elected, you will be running the government. The government will be running the bank, so you will be in control of the bank. You can spew bullshit at us all day and say you will give your bank to congress or whatever but that would also imply that when you stop becoming governor you will leave your bank behind for congress. It wouldn't be yours to take. If this is true, then it is inconsistent with your claims that without being governor you would run your bank. And do not try to say that when your term is over you will start a new bank, because that means one of two things. It means either you will have to try and outdo your own bank, or you won't try to make the national bank as prosperous as you can as to leave room for when you leave the governors chair. Please try to think more carefully in future as I am sick and tired of explaining very simple concepts and facts to someone as incompetent as yourself. I am blown away by the arrogance you have showed in your reply.

You mention in your business plan that you intend on running your bank as all other banks do. All other banks have a business plan aimed at turning a profit. How can you sit there and say that you don't care about personal wealth when you own a bank.
-
The whole point of a business is to make money. You just admitted that governing will be your business. You also say that the national bank will be made with the same business plan, yet later say that you will use a different business plan if you aren't elected. I personally run a high-end clothing business and I know that it is important for me to keep my business, political and personal life separate. I could say that I will supply my suits to our government for free but that would cause problems for me because I then have to personally pay for a governments uniform. It causes complications. I do not want to be rude or seem like I am attacking you on a personal level but from multiple inconsistencies I do not believe you would be a viable governor.
-
I care about money. That's it. I'm not gonna make money if my products aren't top quality. I make quality products, but I make them for the money. Not for the quality.
-
I have to agree. Call it a national bank if you want, a bank is a business and a businesses main and only focus is on making money. Whether you label it national bank or not, the goal is still to turn a profit.
-
And this is why I find it hard to see you as a worthy competitor. I care about one thing when it comes to my business; money. Now I have a business plan and I have many strategies thought out, which will ensure customer satisfaction, but as a business CEO, when talking about my business, money is my only focus. That's how business works. You can't expect to succeed if all you don't view your inventory as property and money. Good luck nonetheless, but I doubt I will have an impact on sales due to this company. P.S. You cant label yourself as a high-end clothing line if your priority is making affordable products for the rich and poor. It is certainly a great idea to cater for this demographic, but you aren't high-end if you will sell to any Tom Dick or Harry who danders into your store. Kind regards, Joel Keys. CEO of Keys High-End Apparel. Please keep in mind that I am in character when posting comments and I mean no harm to you or your company when I make these criticisms.

I think that idea is horrendous. That is like saying lets make a rapist governor so that he can legalise rape and if we legalise rape then there will be less rape. Just doesnt work. -
No problem!

Sporan I believe you should host one-on-one interviews with candidates with these questions. I feel as though being able to answer on the spot will greatly help candidates prepare an answer that the public wants to hear rather than the truth. Get the questions, and then do one-on-one interviews so that we don't have time to prepare answers.
-
Hello all. I have decided that I am going to host a small Q and A session throughout the next few days. I won't be answering anything huge, I will leave those answers for the upcoming debate. Just clearing up any misconceptions or answering queries about my policies etc. Post your questions below
-
Currently not. If and when I see the need for one or if somebody can further my political standing with the public, then I will consider hiring one.
-
Yes. We will be creating all kinds of formal wear, we specialise in clothing but we will do accessories as well.
-
If any farmers would like to discuss some deals with me feel free, I would prefer to buy my materials locally rather than from big companies.
-
I would be happy to participate.

Also if you are referring to the business tax, that doesnt count as the same as your personal tax so you cannot compare the two. That 30% tax is AFTER you have paid out what NEEDS to be paid out, which includes your own salary. With the money you have left over AFTER that, you get taxed on it. Again, read the post before criticising
-
Excuse my french, but fuck your comment. The maximum tax I proposed is 50%, and if you help out smaller businesses you can get 45% of that tax back. So if you are earning over $100k per year, you could potentially be paying 5% in tax. Please read my post before criticising it

I want to promote safe trading, safe practices and the power of the community should be in the hands of the community and not a single person / group

Players will sell their own made products for in game money, but the Identity devs will put up cosmetic items for purchase with real life money. -

Hello fellow citizens! I would like a logo made for a company I am planning to open when I move to your wonderful island. My company is a high-end luxury clothing store called "Keys". The logo should make all of this apparent, and I'd like an actual key on it although its up to you. In return for this you will recieve a place on my design team as well as a free lifetime supply of any clothing which is produced by us until the point comes (if it does) where we decide to use a new logo. Thanks in advance.
