  1. Suggestions

-Add a changelog so we can see the updates https://robertsspaceindustries.com/roadmap/board/1-Star-Citizen https://changelog.survivethenights.net/ These two are a good example of what we should implement on the forum.
  2. Identity was a Cashgrab

It make sense, they promise lots of thing at the start (november 2016), they were actively responding to the forums and discord. Year passes, they literally dont respond at all (given they raised over $1m dollars), the moderators are supposely backing the developers (which I have no idea if the moderators can even get into contact with the devs) Any concerns raised in the discord gets you banned, as well as the developers are constantly online in the discord but they never talk. Very similar thing happend to RAW, except that kickstarter flagged them as fraud
  3. The newsletter

    I agree
  4. New Information from paratus

We're still at it, but development is much slower than we'd like it to be for financial reasons. The income we're receiving currently simply isn't enough to employ many working hours. The developers all have families, so they can't work for free (understandable for any developer with experience). While we're moving along slowly, there will be an update very soon with systems that were needed for combat/SWAT, mainly player movement mechanics and animation. What we have in Town Square now was just too clunky for good combat. Because the pace is so slow right now, we're looking into other development sources, too. I plan on putting out a lot of information with the coming update, but if you guys have questions.. fire away. I've been ridiculously busy, but I'm going to make it a point to poke my head in here more often. Source: Discord
  5. IdentityRPG is a disaster

The devs are not being transparent, and also the progress is indeed slow. We know the game wont be like in GTA, but how in the heck does it take 5 years just to make a town square module?
  6. hypothetically you could lawsuit them
  7. Identity was a Cashgrab

Thats one of the most bullshit excuses i ever heard
  8. Identity was a Cashgrab

How are people still defending the devs? literally not responding to their playbase makes them a SHIT devs, oh and not to mention the game hasn't changed in over 2 years! this is a lost cause.
  9. Identity was a Cashgrab

    I disagree
  10. Identity was a Cashgrab

Ok I am not against mods or anything, but why do I get keep banned every god dam time I raise a concern about the devs? Developers not responding for over 4+months is not normal
  11. What's happening?

That would be fraud though, Im not calling the company a fraud, but it seems like it is. Additionally, they raised over $1m Dollars which can get them in trouble if they actually did mis lead the public
  12. Wasted 3 years

The concept was great, but the devs were too incompetent. i don’t recommend buying the two square module because there’s 0 thing to do
  13. Just refund everyone

God I just realized this thread is more than a month old, and no update by then. Time passes by so fast, but I dont think the progress does.
  14. No update for 2 month??

Why do you guys keep making excuses for the devs? it's blatant that they had more than enough time and more than enough funding
  15. No update for 2 month??

I feel like we just got scammed
  16. No update for 2 month??

Buddy its 2019 and nothing changed from the 2016 town square aside from little tweaks.
  17. People need to understand

Yes but look at the current state of the game, there shouldnt be any excuses. I've seen smaller teams doing better than that Come on, its a SOCIAL MODULE, okay? SOCIAL, its not rocket science. I took into account the budget, the team size, the time, and Il be hella sure they could have pulled off something better than this
  18. People need to understand

Ok so how exactly are they spending this money? We must take into account that they raised over $1million dollars+ (by the way, that's alot in terms of a kickstarter), and look what we get. This project took 4 YEARS to make and $1M Dollar just to make this crap module? This is a joke
  19. Lack of communication from devs, no dev blogs Good luck
  20. People need to understand

They promised to "we will be releasing new screenshots, information and videos on a vary regular basis" . "Imagine where we will be in a year with your support"
  21. No update for 2 month??

I agree, but if I see that the developers are actually working hard on the game then hell i'l give them respect, if somone actually complained in this scenario then the person is either an ignorant or has no sense of reality. But in this case there is a BIG lack of dev-investor relation, which is the breeding cause of "assumption", which can be used as a weapon to attack the developers. These attack can go from anywhere to calling the developers lazy to fraud.
  22. No update for 2 month??

At least its like at least 80% finished, while identity is like 1% finished. Maybe some of the games already has the base of the game finished, just required some tweaking. Identity is no where close to being finished, yes the social module is completed, but keep in mind EVERY game you see has a social aspect to it (vrchat,arma3, ect). So releasing a social module isnt very impressive, nor should it be that expensive. my point is, they should have seen the negative reviews coming from a mile away, if they released on a somewhat completed basis (the full RPG expirience) with bugs, there would be much less negative reviews My opinion: This company is a mess, lacking a structure, lacking of dev-investor relation, too many postpone dates. Do I believe they can change as a whole? Of course, just like No Man Sky which completely remade their game (and now looks sick), but they had the passion for the game. I believe the develoeprs from identity lack the passion to complete the game, you think I am wrong? then give us a complete product in the given time. Prove me wrong. Oh wait, how can they prove us wrong if they don't even read the forums TIPS for developers (they might never read this oh well): Do not annouce something if you are certain you can't release it by then
  23. No update for 2 month??

The thing is why even bother to sell the game at that current stage? I know it would help with funding, but would people even respect the title of the game anymore? Do you expect a flow stream of positive reviews? To be sincere, I dont think so. A $30 game should bring you a maximum experience, otherwise, you are just inflating the price. As the price of a game increases, the quality of the game should also increase per say. Not meeting this "balance" point would just amplify the negative reviews. Honestly releasing the game on steam at that stage just diminishes the company's value and reputation.
  24. No update for 2 month??

As developers, they are required to disclose information to its funders (which there seems to be a lack of).
  25. No update for 2 month??

This is the internet, what do you expect lol? publishing a non completed game on steam will always end up with bad review. If you actually read some of the reviews, most of them reflect on the basis of the module, not the game itself. Actually, I kinda agree with some negative reviews. Example: Wierd animations, people teleport through walls, people fall of the map, lack of gameplay, lack of anything to do ect
