Found out about this game today through YT, I had thought of the exact same idea for a game months ago, but never knew it existed. Always was inspired because of San Andreas Multiplayer servers, but this is on a much bigger scale and i have high hopes/expectations, such as Wildlife and hunting aspects(Skinning, tracking,etc). This may sound like a suggestion thread, but I shall probably make a mega list of suggestions. These are the main ones that I'd just like to see the vision the developers have for this. I'm also guessing that things like Powergaming, Metagaming, death matching etc will still exist here? If so, how will rule breakers be moderated? Since there's going to be a large playerbase, are the staff team prepared? Some more features that I'd like to know the developers insight for, Speed cameras Courts/Sentencing, (prison roleplay?) Festivals(Glastonbury, Download, spring break?) Theme parks Easter eggs / references Pets (Incl ride-able horses, dogs, lizards) World Disasters Car customisation Presidencies Santa?

I hope some precautions will be placed, being screamed at by a 13 year old telling me to put my gun out of its holster and on the floor for no reason when you have a license for it isn't exactly help the moderator team with moderating. -
This is just what I would think: I : Yes, I'd imagine an "academy" of sorts every so often. II : Id say no, but officers being able to go off duty. Corruption within police is something I'd like to know how the moderators would go about. III : I'd imagine after a player has been arrested, it would log it on the server, so whenever another officer checks his name it would show his previous arrests. IV : I personally would hope and think it would be through high ranks or Field Training Officers that would promote them after they have been recognised. Having different stations as I'd also think they would and having different FTOs and other officers stationed to a specific station would be best and fairest way to be recognised. Having 50-100 officers on a server under supervision of 10 FTOs wouldn't really work. but as I said, this is what I THINK would the route they'd went for.

I imagine it will be as simple as 911 calls show up on screen, and over the radio they say who's responding. It's how it's done on SAMP RP servers. Same for officers calling for back up etc, as well as other emergency services. Having a dispatch means one person having to be on at all times, or maybe even more than a couple. I don't see that happening imo. As for voice or text over command would be the same as arma, or differentiated by different keys.

I think pool or snooker will be possible to be honest. I don't think they'll find it difficult if they are able to have the literal freedom aspect.

They said they might after pc release, which I think is fair as I think they should focus on their original before releasing to consoles. Bare in mind moderation of rule breakers.

I hope so, same reason why I don't think I'll pre order until beta. Games like the war z I have bought before and look where they are now.. It's gone through 3 different developers and still the worst mmo on the market. I just hope they meet their own expectations as well as ours. This game could be huge, which would be great for the RP scene since I'm not aware of anything like this concept of a game where it's strictly role play, especially with the "literal freedom" -

Modding would mean spreading across different servers, I'd imagine 3 servers depending on playerbase, it seems the developers are wanting to bring more immersion to the scene, seeing people drive on the road, walking the streets,etc would create more of an experience, instead of seeing 1 -3 cars pop up every so often.- 6 replies

Wouldn't both make more sense, allowing the player to choose would attract a wider range of people. Some people just have anxiety(I guess?) to even talk. Text is how I've RP'd in previous experience on other games. A problem I think the game is going to have is moderation. Even though it's a pay to play game, trolls are extremely likely to get on, as I expect with every roleplay scene. EDIT, I saw a post from a dev saying that they will be using both. http://prntscr.com/dearaf
