Really looking forward to roleplaying with the developers and the roleplayers and everyone who has contributed to the community with their ideas and pledges. The devs deserve a sincere round of applause, hugs and a lot of recognition for their work. The Identity Administration seems to me to actually care about what their peers think about their product and not just ''We're not doing it. It's too difficult''. Guess what? These lovely little buns did it , and as each day goes by, we're closing in on the release date to this wonderful creation because of them. #Hugs4TheIdentityRPGDevs

I feel like we should just make a thread where we all say our thank-you's to the developers. #Hugs4TheIdentityRPGDevs

They're tiny buns full of love and they all deserve a hug, to be honest.

I agree with what you're saying about this post being a food for thought for the devs. One shouldn't look away from the possibility that a staff so involved with their peers like the Identity administration is, will launch a poll when the time comes to launch updates.

What about a plague? It'd require players to team up and fight each other for survival. I know some people prefer to play without NPC's (you were talking about zombies), and the expansion could include clothing/gear, weapons, the possibility to arm your car (bulletproof tires, windows etc similar to what I believe was the Heist update in GTAV) and rebuild your home into a safer place as people will be scavenging and do whatever it takes to survive.

I love the idea of rich players being able to throw parties like fundraisers and masquerades for the public. It gives people a chance to get together despite their choice of career, side of the law etc. Another thing would be to have some kind of underground fight club environment going on.

How do we become cop and is there an age limit?
Acrane replied to CamdenAnderson's topic in The Precinct
I'm aware of that now. I've spent the time after posting that reading other forum threads, getting to know when the modules are released vs the actual game etc. The friend that introduced me to this said the beta would be released somewhere early next year. Pro tip for anyone reading this: Read up before you post. -
I do understand what you're getting at, and I would've asked the same thing. The creators of Identity appears to be VERY committed to this and they seem like they want to make the best possible arena for people to roleplay in. In communities similar to this, you'll have the possibility to send a ban appeal to a moderator and they'll take it into consideration which (in the case of a troll) will result in what I believe would be a permanent or at least long-lasting ban. You do after all have to pay a minimum of fifteen US dollars for a citizenship to be able to play Identity and if trolls are willing to give up their money, mess around and get banned, Identity will benefit from it.

Just felt like clothing like this could be used in a diverse range of styles. The boots are also gender neutral.

I'm sure that even if the creators begin with some basic clothing, more will come. As long as we have the possibility of choosing colors ourselves, it shouldn't be a problem to use the same t-shirt for different styles. One could easily use the same jeans for a more k-pop looking style as well as punk-rock or casual. It all boils down to what we decide to do with it and we'll just have to deal with having to wait for a while. A friend of mine told me about this game a few hours ago during class and I'm already so psyched about it that I don't care if my character has to look homeless for a few months until they get around to creating more outfits. I'm not bashing anyone for having wishes about what they want for their characters or expectations to the game, but I think we should cut the creators some slack and give them a hug because I'm sure they've been working their butts off for the last few years to get this going. How do we become cop and is there an age limit?
Acrane replied to CamdenAnderson's topic in The Precinct
Personally, I'm 17, turning 18 in August of 2017. Quite a lot of people have said that they'd prefer an 18+ age limit (To play, roleplay as a cop or both) and even if I want to roleplay as a police officer (and planning to apply for the police academy in real life), I can't help but agree with them. There's going to be players in their twenties through thirties that actually wants to spend their time with advanced and serious roleplayers. I'm not saying 12 and 13-year-olds can't be good, but there's going to be people that have roleplayed for longer than they could talk. I have a decent amount of experience with roleplay and a good amount of experience with building characters, but due to the possibility of an 18+ age limit, I can't get my hopes up for being able to roleplay as a cop or even be allowed onto the servers if it's released before my birthday. And that's fine. There are multiple reasons for why anyone under the age of 14 shouldn't be allowed near games like these, but I think that a trial period or a certain set of servers would be appropriate to test this out. People under a certain age could also apply to play Identity and be set under a stricter set of rules than their seniors. (This was somewhat of a brainstorm and English isn't my native language. My apologies if some of the sentences may seem incoherent.) -
Becoming a citizen on Monday/Tuesday. I was afraid people would be impersonal and just avoid each other, but the people on this thread makes me want to join even more!
