I'm not going to own a server, what i meant is, if the devs think they can raise the bar over 300 players but the server providers can't follow that'll be a problem, well, just keep it to 300 but what if they can't even reach 300 ? do you see where i am going?
-
Well, if you play as a delivery man, i think you'dd enjoy having a steering wheel, i'm personaly used to drive for hours with a keyboard on A2 and A3 but i understand the need i still wouldn't mind the usual Xbox360 support on Windows

Is it weird that I think they should add more animations?
ST_Helios replied to Kenny_14's topic in Ideas & Suggestions
Honestly, while i think it is nice, this must be at the same rank of priority with seasons, weather and other graphical things, it is nice for immersion but i'dd rather have the game first -
I think on a money perspective it would be better to leave the expensive packages cuz moar money = moar feature? = profit? BUT if they do that it must have different bonues, i don't want to see non backers have the same goodies as backers who bought it on kickstarter or later, maybe moar special items for backers? Right now i'dd rather see the game done but if they can get more money after release and not make it P2W then i wouldn't mind

Personaly i'm more worried about the server quality than the price even if the price is important, i don't give a crap if it can't run 300 players and potentialy more without issues or at least annoying ones

@PlayerOne You should calm down first, no point being so agressive On my side, i think having servers outside of asylum reach is a bad thing as if something goes wrong, i believe it's more likely to loose more data than internal servers also, the selected server providers will have the exclusive market of identity, i do understand it sounds silly firsthand but if the game grows big (we all hope to i hope) they will have their money idk why you want to have a cloud server so badly when it can work out just fine with regular servers

@Mentality Was there such a specific video? if yes i must've missed it, could i have the link please?
-
Well honestly, the forum is well disciplined compared to others (steam ones being the worst) so i don't think anymore moderators are necessary atm
-
Also, i've seen in the forums that the devs will actual warn ppl before removing the pledge store, @JamesLuck01 or @HairyGrenade , could you confirm please?
-
Well... personaly i already have my place in @JamesLuck01' server and i doubt he would do such a thing but i could be wrong Anyway, as always, the quality of a server depends on it's staff and community, the first being largely influent on the second, bad staff often result in a bad server, i guess it'll be a trial and error for some players about fanboys issues i think the staff leaving viewers doing anything they want just because they are viewer aren't doing the job correctly, neutral jugement is supposed to be the priority when deciding bans or not but i see why this happen i'm trying to see this from a logical point but stupidity is far from logical
-
i know theses ppl are there but i think it's a minority otherwise the servers would get a bad reputation quite quickly no? i mean... it's stupid to do that, only childsish guys do (i hope) You seem to be talking from experience

Why does streamers/youtubers seems to prefer being the server owner? a sense of "i play however i want?"
-
How much can you bend the rules in a private server?
ST_Helios replied to Jakeyninja's topic in The Town Square
I think i've seen that the privates servers will have the maximum control over the game outside of modding and so on, as they have stated multiple times that they want to give the tools for the players, it seemed obvious to me that it would be a 100% possibility However, i'm not interely sure, so i'm going to wait and quote so @HairyGrenade or @JamesLuck01 can confirm as they are way more knowledgable than me -
Europe is a mess man, French, English, German, Spannish, Flemmish and so on, ppl wants to be able to talk in their native language most of the time but i expect private servers to fill this gap not the official ones, French servers are usualy there on GMOD or Arma, no reason for it to change
-
I read somewhere (in a old Q&A?) that Multiple servers in france were confirmed, maybe they'll use france as a hub where other game usualy do with amsterdam a logical layout would be something like western europe somewhere around belgium - france - netherland and use it too for UK, southern europe for Italy and spain (they aren't neccessary but well) and so on, or they could just do EUW - EUE - Russia NAE/NAW and so on we'll see but they do plan having public servers for every continent IIRC @HairyGrenade can be more precise, what i aid is from what i read and logical though, @JamesLuck01 sure knows more than me tho
