Sweet! I've now got an incentive to go on Reddit (why don't I already use it hmmm)

So after recently buying a locally made fizzy drink I thought, what if you can make your own food products to sell in Identity? These would be things such as soda, burgers, hot dogs, etc, each made and customised by the player. By customised I mean the player can choose the effects of consuming the foodstuff, choose the labelling/ logo and choose flavouring/ ingredients. This would add another level of realism to Identity's economics markets and can be a fun business to run. The player could even set up fast food joints to sell their products or even operate a hot dog stand or ice cream truck. -Just my 2 cents

Sorta hoping there'll be foodstands (hotdog etc) which you can buy things at. Maybe even player owned foodstands which generate a profit.

Can't wait to see how this turns out in-game!

So, the flag would be a somewhat important part of Identity. It could appear on government buildings, peoples walls and properties, apparel, political campaigns and even on bumper stickers. Here are some ideas I have come up with; http://imgur.com/gallery/i6rnI (St Ives ,Feilding, Kane, Lytton, etc, are just examples of what the flag could look like with the Island name on it) EDIT: Btw the wavy lines represent the fact that it is an Island, 3 stars for the 3 main cities and colours because USA obviously. It's supposed to look a bit cheesy too, as in my opinion a lot of the states flags do Post your own flag ideas below!

I'd like it if the basic character models were carried from server to server, along with some basic clothing. Money and other things I doubt will carry

Hey again guys Just wondering how renting and leasing would work. Like, will a player be able to become a landlord and rent the apartments/ shops to other players? Or will the server take care of being the land lord? Also, would the land owners be able to become land developers and develop the shops/ house to increase value? -It seems that there's more activity on the forums recently, which is very nice! -

City Councils would add a life-like feature to Identity. They could regulate public transport, waste disposal and keep the streets and parks clean, as well as public buildings (ie library). They could set taxes within the city for leasing shop buildings etc to help cover the costs. Councils would be comprised of a few players. They could even organise street fairs, festivals and market days (ie farmers markets and craft markets). Markets could be a fun way to interact with people, as well as a place to make profit. (I swear i'm not spamming the ideas topic )

I was thinking it would be neat if land owners (probably only owners of commercially zoned lots) could change the style and exterior of the building. Example; The player wants to upgrade a gungy looking convenience store to a slightly nicer looking one. Or, the player wants to change the colour scheme on the exterior, or even add foliage and seats outside to make it look more welcoming. Obviously this will cost the player money, but will affect the land value of the property. The changes to the building don't have to be big, as that would put demand on the servers with all the change

I'd like to see it! Even a smaller residential shopping centre with just a few shops and a car park would be cool in the suburbs.

Hi everyone. I noticed in the new video that the only way to select colours on walls, ceilings, etc is to select it on the slider/ selector. While I think this is good, I think that there should be a Colour Palette selector as well. This means that you can get pre-selected colour schemes which are stylish and match.

Do you think that there will be abandoned buildings throughout the island? Such as abandoned mines and cabins in the woods and factories near cities. You may find people such as the homeless and druggies hiding in there, but it would also be cool to explore these buildings out of interest.
