The official servers will be English Speaking only. If someone so chooses to start a private server they can restrict it to french speaking if they wish.

It is good. Buying in-game currency on a game like this very easily breaks the economy, We've experienced it on Asylum unfortunately.

Most probably Canada, however, I am not sure if Paratus and Motown may be looking at other Datacentres as well. As to ping. I live in the United Kingdom and on Asylum which also are hosted in Canada I get around 90-120ms ping and my internet is a very bad 6mb Down 0.1mb Up. I have no issues with playing at all. @lamarr Oh God what am I reading *FacePalm* 1) Avoid bringing IRL logics into a game it doesn't work (trust me). 2) Avoid criticizing someone else " RP " Style everyone has the right to interpret RP how they wish I am gonna answer the original question very simply. So Regarding Private servers, this really is up to them how they wish to manage it do they want Hardcore RP or more of a light RP server. Regarding the Official Servers So I've spoken to Motown a bit around the way the fear system works and this is how I have interpreted it. I will be double checking this with him tonight as I am not a fan of false spreading information but this thread getting a little crazy. Below are 2 example scenarios. Scenario 1 Someone tries robbing you, you decide to roleplay and comply your "fear/threat" level is fairly low therefore if the robber tried to kill you it would be much "harder". Scenario 2 Someone tries robbing you, you decide to either Raise your weapon to try to defend yourself of decide to run away at this point your fear/threat level increases making it "easier" to kill whilst you attempt to defend yourself. This is my little introduction, My name is Will I am a Mech Engineer living in the United Kingdom. I have been gaming for a very long time it's my little getaway from reality. I play a variety of games at am currently into Far Cry Primal alongside Rainbow Six Siege. I also play a lot of Star Wars the Old Republic I am also one of the Administrators on Asylum's Entertainment's "Altis Life" mission file on Arma 3. I have been a member of the community for 2 years + and the Identity project is something that I am hugely anticipating for the future. I am usually quite busy over on the Asylum forums and haven't been very active over here so hopefully, this will change as I've got a bit more free time to myself. In my free time other than gaming I do a lot of cooking, fishing and various other bits and pieces. I am also completing my Private Pilots License with an end goal of moving out to Florida and getting my Commercial Pilots license hopefully sometime in the next couple of years. I am also a big Disney and Star Wars Nerd! I really look forward to being a bigger part of this community, and hopefully, I'll see a few over in the Town Square !!

I think of identity being that Carboard box you were given as a child and told it was a car, but then you decided it was plane and that box could literally be whatever you want it to be. Identity much the same if you want to roleplay as a detective you sure can whether there will be actual mechanics to aid being a detective I am not sure either way what you can do in identity is only limited by your imagination

It's more than reasonable to be skeptical. Who knows what can happen but this is what I think will happen. As soon as Town Square is released we actually have a small portion of the game and how it really is going to work. I think that will be the turning point and I personally think its going to be awesome and I would hope that other people with a bit more money than your average person would invest in Identity and see it as more of buisness opportunity if that makes sense. The publicity will also increase. The difference I see is that from talking with Motown is that both Motown and Paratus are making the game because they want to and its there like little love child Someone like Rockstar will be making a game to make money.
