Rev. 6:7 – When He opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, “Come!” And I looked, and there was a pale green horse. The horseman on it was named Death, and Hades was following after him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill by the sword, by famine, by plague, and by the wild animals of the earth”
Death, the one thing everyone is entitled to in the end. The rich and poor. Mean and nice. But depending on what you believe, you have the power to change where you'll go. But one thing is for sure, you'll always be at the bad end of my bat.
Somewhere in The Island, 1998
As the rain falls upon Roseport, the heat rises and the Steam with it. The sound of feet splashing in puddles with with the faint sound of heavy breathing. A man running with the thought of death in his mind.. His death.
"Run, run as fast as you can."
"Leave me alone!"
"You'll meet your end with me."
The man panicking as he's reached his dead end. His back turned to the wall looking down the alleyway. Eyes pacing back and forth erratically, trying to see anything movement through the rain.
"You know what you did." The ghostly figures voice echoing through the narrow path. "It's time to pay the toll."
"Ahhhhh!" The cornered rat of a man fires his gun in fear until.. Click, click, click. Out of ammo. "Why do you care so much?!"
As the rain falls, drops as big as hail, you see him. Long black hair, a sack doll mask. And a baseball bat, stained with blood.
"I care, because if you want success you pay in death. You took a life, now you pay the price."
As the moon shines through the thick clouds it shines down the terrified screams of a killer afraid of death. How ironic.
(Like the idea of these.)
