Good point @Hanshi-Toshiro but hopefully the developers are able to put a lot of checks in place to make a life of crime not as easy as it sounds, and also as tough as a career as a truck driving company. I mean think about it as a criminal your lifespan will most likely be alot shorter like it is in real life. You will usually have a target on your backs whether it be from the cops or rival organizations. So therefore just like your going to have alot of obstacles I think they will too. Those who are choosing the life of crime immediately I think are watching too much breaking bad and scarface and think its gonna be all thrills and riches, but I think not I'd rather earn my money the legit way that way I can sleep at night without having to have one eye open.

True yeah they have total creative freedom right now which is pretty genius on there part I would keep it that way. There's so many triple A game developers that can ruin a game's overall experience due to their own personal interest.

You know what i dont get how come a game like this doesn't get as much backers as a game like gta5, the game has so much potential you would think there would be people knocking down the door to help out but yet they have a very small team -.- . Is it because they want to keep it that way, or because they have to due to lack of resources...

I gotta admit it would be nice to see some actual character movement in world that would be epic. kinda tired of seeing screenshots. I also want a good game and am patient but if i were to see that i'd be even more crazy hyped for this game

@Shimozukachi Honestly I have a little more faith people that people will want to stay in the roleplay experience. I'm sure there's gonna be those few bad apples who try to ruin everything and go chaotic. But hey who knows maybe the developers will implement some type of restrain features for police to cut out that abusive activity. They all played Arma 3 So i think they have a better idea on balancing than any of us are gonna have.

THis would be a cool little feature since the main role I want to play is a succesful miner in the game selling things like gold silver and diamonds. And it would give the career a mechanic to actually go out and search around the map for treasures that'll make you income

I agree that everyone is going to start on the same slate when it comes out but I think you can get a tiny advantage in already knowing what your goals are and what kind of company you want to start so you can rush to getting into that as soon as the game begins. However I have seen some ads for some business that say we have been top manufacturer in identity for 12 years and things like that. I think that is false advertising, straight up. I know its called role-play.... but still

Well thanks frank I am glad you are confirming that there will be private security in the game, however I personally will not be hiring criminals for private security because I am associated with the Gentleman's club and we are Barons/Gentleman of legitimate business. It's what separates us from the the savages

James luck what ideas do you have to prevent a criminal from shooting me in the head when i am doing absolutely nothing wrong gta style? just wondering because I don't know what the developers are going to do to prevent this. And on the tax system I agree i believe you should be taxed according to what you earn.

I dont know if this is possible yet since the game hasn't come out yet but I would really like to go a different path from legitimate business man and/or criminal. In the trailer it said there would be mining in the game so I would definitely like to become some sort of a entreprenuerial baron with mining say, OIL, GOLD,DIAMONDS, SHIPWRECKED SALVAGES... I would really like that to be my main source of income and play like this rich dapper gentleman kinda like John D. Rockefeller or Andrew Carnegie who has "old money". That would be so cool.

I think business owners or legitimate career people are going to be allowed to be strapped as well for protection so they are not going to necessarily going to have to defend with their first. I like the idea of gun licenses however though it would be a good way for cops to put up a red flag on routine traffic stops and be like "Sir we are aware you are not licensed to carry a weapon we need to take you downtown for questioning". I think this would be a good way to make it harder for criminals to use guns and get away with crimes, therefore keeping the peace for legitimate business people in the main areas of the cities.

I try to stay as neutral as possible, and not let political parties sway the importance of the issues at hand at the time of election. However, it is human nature for everyone to get swayed or influenced to a particular side, even I am guilty of it. However, I guess on the political scale or spectrum I would be much closer to right down the middle as opposed to extreme left or right. I do believe in the issue of securing our borders I just don't agree on his method of building a very expensive wall that professional criminals are just going to be able to dig under. It would be a waste of our tax payer dollars.

This is hilarious, you tell me not to bring up real life political candidates because it creates arguments and yet you all are the ones arguing :D. I just simply stated that he is going to create tax cuts for the rich, although he hasn't done it yet because he is currently the president-elect and the not the sworn in president its not to hard to realize that tax cuts for the extremely wealthy are going to occur. I'm not a Hilary supporter, I don't like either one. And the point was that I just don't want that to occur in Identity. Someone could use a propaganda type campaign to get into power and become abusive on the taxes for the poor which is why I mention short election terms in one of my balancing points.

5) yeah but what if you get a president that is trump like and gives tax cuts to the incredibly rich and raises it on poor that would be...not cool for the average people playing the game who are simple farmers or do regular jobs. haha

I have no idea but I would really like them to make their own unique currency as opposed to a US currency or so on
