Even outside of the buildings, there's gonna be a lot of people, just imagine all the players trying to run people over on the official servers, you know it will happen, just straight up vehicle trolling by players, it's inevitable so there's gotta be some type of system to stop the trolling like that at least in cities. I like their stress system they have for killing in cities and whatnot, but there's still gotta be something done with vehicles, hopefully insurance just does the trick, the amount of vehicle ramming and whatnot will probably be a whole lot, I mean something that can help it but not completely prevent it, I still do believe you should have complete freedom to do whatever on official servers kind of like GTA;

The scale will be enough, they said the map will be about twice the size of GTA 5's map, and I think they said it'd take about an hour to walk across it or something, but with no aircraft in the game you will be able to see players quite often.

Obviously there will be private servers such as RP ones with more rules and people to enforce them but, I'm thinking it would be harder to stop trolls on official servers, I don't think it'd be a good idea to have moderators enforce random killing or anything like that on official servers, people should do what they please but there's definitely things that can be done to straight destroy a server like in places with a lot of people such as towns or cities. It seems they have a pretty well thought out system to reduce the amount of random killing in cities which I think is great. But I'm curious as to what if someone buys a car just to smash into everyone and troll, whether it be running people over or wrecking other people's cars. I couldn't find anything about a system for that but I was just thinking about all the possible ideas people can do to troll such as: Mic spam ( I'm sure there will be a muting option ) Random killing ( I like the system they explained and am fine with dangers outside of cities/towns ) Vehicle trolling like smashing into people, cars, or anything to mess with someone ( Maybe they could make getting ran over by cars not take a whole lot of damage, not sure how it will go if someone smashes into your car, seems like it would be pretty annoying to deal with ) I can't think of any other ways to troll someone that would be really annoying. It's not too big of a deal that people will try to mess with you outside of towns or cities, I think it's understandable and something you have to be ready for, but think of all the shit you could do while in a town where there will obviously be a lot of people all in one place, something would probably have to be done for vehicles, I know there's cops and whatnot but they can't always be there and obviously can only react to what people do, not really prevent it.

I'm not sure if you'll be able to go over 300 on a custom server people rent, but for official servers they said they are aiming for a max of 300 players.

They said on twitter that the more a gun wears down, the higher chance it will have of jamming, the reason for that is they don't want people hoarding the same guns, they want them to be cycled out and having to keep on being made. Personally I like this idea because it will stop people hoarding every gun they get, if they use it, eventually it will be unreliable due to jamming.

As long as there's a text chat it'll be viable, like in g mod a lotta people don't even use mic's and people are fine with it, but obviously it'll be more inconvenient to type in some situations, but it's not like people aren't going to read the chat if they're trying to communicate with someone.

Yeah, no hate at all towards the devs, but the release of the video will make or break the hype for me, I saw on their twitter about 7 months ago they planned on releasing a video, so if it doesn't come out now then I can't keep hoping it'll come out.

While we wait for the vid I was wondering what's everyone's plans are when the game comes out, I know there's roleplay threads already but I'm talking about features that are actually in the game, I think it'd be interesting to see other people's ideas they have when they start. For me, probably in the beginning I will try to grind and make money off of small time jobs, and try to work my way up to maybe an apartment/car. Once I do that I've always wanted to be a gun dealer but on other roleplay type servers that I play on like SAMP/Arma servers, they don't have the features for it. Not sure how getting ahold of guns works illegally but I REALLY hope there's some way of manufacturing/creating them, because buying them from an NPC is boring. I heard there's a black market NPC that is randomly located on the map that you can put illegal items up for people to see and buy. If you're able to manufacture/craft guns I'd invest in doing that and try and sell them on the black market, or even do personal gun deals with gangs/anyone in need would be fun too. Who knows if I actually make good profit I could buy a warehouse which I heard you can store items like weapons in there, I could have a huge storage of weapons ready to sell to any large gang or customer that wants it. I just think it'd be fun getting into crazy shit like meeting up for a gun deal and they try backstabbing you, all the action comes from the players so I think stuff like that would be fun to do. Even getting people behind me to help with the gun business and make a lot of money. Again, I've seen some threads with roleplay on their companies/gangs they already have, but I was wondering about with the knowledge of in game features they already talked about, what are your plans when it starts.

I'm pretty sure I saw on their twitter that the black market NPC's are for putting items you want to sell for others to see and buy, I'm not sure about legal items being sold but that's basically an auction house for illegal items.

A simple solution to this would be you would still need evidence of the person murdering the victim, so even if he knew, the guy who killed the victim can still get away with it if there's no evidence for the detective to use on him.
