"Yea, meetup is still on, I am glad you called though, I need your opinion on something. Should I bring the Shelby, because it has been a absolute blast driving her, or should I bring my old Skyline GTR, I just finished some tuning and graphics work on it, and finally got around to installing a lighting set" *Kevin notices the bikers behind him, and notices them nod at each other. He tenses up and prepares to unleash the powerful engine at the first sign of something going wrong*
-
*Kevin wakes up the next morning, makes a quick breakfast of eggs and toast, and has a shower. He then gets dressed, electing to put on his favorite plaid button up shirts instead of his normal graphic tee. He sits down and starts to watch some movies, but starts to go a bit stir crazy, so he grabs his hat and sunglasses before heading out to his car. Kevin heads to a gas station to fuel up before cruising around for a bit. As he drives through a bit of a rougher neighborhood, he gets stuck behind several bikers* *Kevin tries to stay calm behind the bikers, but the itch, the need to go fast starts to creep towards his foot on the accelerator. Eventually Kevin looks behind him, and checks the road ahead, and being satisfied it's clear, he pulls into the next lane, dropping a gear and mashing the accelerator. The 7 liter v8 let's out a mighty roar as the accelerator lifts the front of the car slightly. After passing the bikers, Kevin pulls back onto the proper side of the road, before slowing the Gt500 down to a stop at a stop sign, where he turns off of the road. It is then that his phone starts to go off. Kevin answers without looking at who is calling* "Hello?"
-
*Kevin finishes his food, and leaves a fifty dollar bill on the table as payment. He gets into his car and sets off down the road. Kevin pulls up to a stop light when a newer Dodge Charger pulls up next to him revving his engine, and the driver rolls down the passenger side window* "Nice old man car you got there, bet you won't have a chance against my ride" *Kevin looks over* "Be careful about running that mouth it might just cost you your car one of these days" *The Charger revs it's engine a few more times* "Come on, what are you, a bitch" "Alright, lets do this, when the light turns green, first one to the next set of lights down there wins" *The two cars start revving up, and when the light turns green, they both launch off the line. The Shelby Mustang quickly gains the lead, passing the Charger like it is standing still. As Kevin drives through the next set of lights a smile comes on his face as he can see the driver of the Charger swearing as he pulls up to the lights. Kevin then heads back over to the Underground Chop Shop where he sets about the day to day business of running the business, as well as trying to keep his drivers in check. When the clock hits 4pm, and the shop is slow, he decides to call it a day early and heads back home to his apartment, where he gets cleaned up a bit and decides to watch some movies. At around 1030pm he decides to call it a night early, and heads to bed, with the thoughts of the next nights meetup running around in his head*
-
*Kevin jolts awake in a office chair inside of the Underground Garage, he takes a look at his watch* "Fuck me, its 2am" *Kevin heads out, locking the door behind him. He walks up to his Shelby whistling as he twirls his car keys around his finger. He gets in and starts up the engine, and almost immediately the fuel light turns on* "Fuck me, at least the gas station is nearby" *Kevin drives slowly to the gas station so as to conserve some fuel. Once there he fuels up and notices just how much it takes to fill up* "Damn Eleanor, your thirsty tonight" *Once the tank is full of fuel, Kevin heads inside and picks up a pack of smokes. Kevin puts on some music as he drives off into the night. Several hours pass, and day begins to break. Kevin decides to head over to his favorite greasy spoon diner for some breakfast. On his way there he notices a blacked out Cadillac pull up next to him at a red light, and he gets a strange feeling from it. He goes straight through when the light turns green, while the Cadillac turns left. Kevin parks his car a few blocks later in front of the diner, where he sits down and orders a large breakfast*

"Its all about the tools you use, that and doing it several hundred times. I won a legal race back before I moved out here, and that was the prize, one of the cars used in the remake of "Gone in 60 Seconds". Only like three of them survived the filming, so its worth several hundred thousand. I heard that the 'hero car' was sold for a million. I finally finished the paperwork to have it sent over, and it arrived two weeks ago. I spent some time on the engine to beef it up a bit more, and threw on a new set of tires that I have probably almost burned through" *Kevin lights a cigarette, offering the pack to Mia*
-
"You know that you get what you pay for, and fuck me if these tires didn't cost a arm and a leg, I guess its pretty lucky for you that I'm not charging you like a normal customer" *Kevin pockets the cash* "Let me do the swap, it will take like 5 minutes. However, if someone knocks at the door I do need you to tell them to fuck off, I am not doing jack shit after this" *Kevin fires up the air compressor, and grabs the pneumatic impact wrench and sets off removing the tires, taking only a few seconds to get each one off*
-
*Kevin heads inside, turning the lights on* "If you see the tires let me know, I need to find something in my office first" *Kevin rummages around in his office before finding his pack of cigarettes, he puts them in his jackets pocket, and heads out to the shop. He heads to the back where there is a room full of tires. He walks in, searches for a few minutes, and rolls out four tires onto the shop floor* "Four off-road tires, on GTR rims"
-
*Kevin laughs as he unlocks the door* "The tires should be somewhere, fuck if I know just where. And before you ask, yes I just showered, yes I know its the afternoon, and I am like 90% sober" *Kevin opens the door, and makes a over exaggerated sweeping after you motion with his arm while holding the door open*
-
*Kevin brings the GT500's speed down to the speed limit as he enters the downtown area of the city. He begins to weave between traffic as he makes his way back to his apartment when he sees blue and red lights flashing behind him. Kevin looks down at the fuel gauge and notices that it is low* "Next time girl, next time" *Kevin pulls over to the side of the road and shuts the engine off, and rolls down the drivers side window, waiting for the cop to walk up* "Do you know why I pulled you over" "Honestly, not a clue" *The cop takes a whiff of the air* "Have you been drinking today" "Today, no. I had some drinks at a friends place last night and had to leave this morning before I could shower" "Step out of the car sir" *Kevin gets out of his car* "What now" "Walk that line over there" *Kevin walks over to the line the cop pointed out, and walks it perfectly straight* "Happy now, can I just head home" "Your free to go, just drive a bit more careful" *Kevin gets back into his car, starts the engine, revs it a few times, and heads out. He parks his car out in front of his apartment complex and heads inside. Once upstairs Kevin takes a quick shower, and gets dressed in fresh clothes. Once dressed, Kevin looks around his apartment for a pack of cigarettes* "Fuck it, I bet I have some back at the shop" *Kevin puts on his flannel jacket, hat, and sunglasses before heading back down to his car. He drives off towards his shop a few blocks away where he sees Mia's car parked* "Not a customer, if there is a god, then please let this not be a customer" *As Kevin recognizes who's car it is he relaxes a bit. He sees Mia knocking on the door, so he slowly drives up behind her, hoping she doesn't turn around. When he gets to a few meters away, he stops the car, puts it into neutral, and quickly revs the engine before getting out*
-
*Kevin wakes up lying on a couch that isn't his own. In his hand is a half empty bottle of beer. He sits up, looks around at the mess surrounding him, takes a whiff of the beer, and takes a sip. After tasting it for a moment, Kevin shrugs his shoulders, and finishes off the bottle, placing the empty next to a collection of them on the coffee table. He looks at the mess in the rest of the small apartment, with several other people sleeping in various places. Kevin stands up, and grabs his flannel coat that he had been using as a blanket and puts it on before patting down all of his pockets, confirming that his wallet, phone, and keys where all on him. Kevin grabs his hat and Oakley sunglasses off of the coffee table, putting them both on, before quietly leaving the apartment. As he walks down the stairs, the night before begins to come back to him. He was there celebrating his latest race win against someone who had underestimated his skill* *As Kevin leaves the apartment, he looks at his prized car, one of the few surviving 1967 Shelby GT500's named Eleanor from the movie 'Gone in 60 Seconds'. Kevin gets in and starts the engine, letting it idle for a few moments, enjoying the low rumble. Kevin slowly backs out onto the street, before popping the clutch and leaving two long black marks on the road surface*

*Kevin walks around the small store picking up several bottles of oil, a air filter for Michael's bike, and a fuel and oil filter. Kevin walks up to the counter, where he rings a bell, waking the lone worker catching a nap in the office* "Kevin, it's been too long, good to see you again" "Hey Randy, I hope you didn't sell those parts I ordered" "I would never do that, at least not to you. I'm pretty sure you're the main reason we are still in business" *Randy heads to the rear of the store, returning with a large box filled with smaller boxes* "Anything else you need?" *Kevin slides a piece of paper across the counter* "New project" "I will order this stuff in for you" "Thanks" *Randy rings up the items, and Kevin pulls out a wad of cash and pays for the parts. Kevin nods farewell as he exits the store with the parts. Kevin skillfully balences the box in one arm as he opens the trunk, putting the box inside. He turns to Michael as he gets in the driver's seat* "Did you see anyone leave that car?"
-
*Kevin smirks at Michael tightening his seat belt* "That's probably a good call" *Kevin slowly drives the powerful car out before getting out and closing the barn doors. He gets back in, puts the car in to gear and heads off down the driveway until he hits the road. After stopping to make sure that no other cars are nearby, he floors the accelerator, causing the car to leave two long black lines on the road. As the car begins to get traction, Kevin shifts into the next gear, the car rapidly gaining speed. As a corner comes up, Kevin slows the car down* "Don't worry, I'm not suicidal, I know this car will not corner worth a damn" *After driving for a while longer, Kevin parks the car in front of a small parts shop. He notices a black SUV park nearby that had been following them for the last little while. Kevin grabs his 1911 from the center console and turns to Michael* "It is probably nothing, but that SUV over there has been following us. I shouldn't be to long, but it might be best for you to keep a eye on it"
-
"Lets see here, around 20 bucks for the air filter, and a solid excuse to drive my Cuda" *Kevin pretends to do math in his head* "A 20 should be good enough" *Kevin walks over to the car, grabs the intake manifold with the three Holly carburetors already bolted on, and sets off bolting it onto the engine. Kevin then grabs the shaker scoop, bolting it on top of the engine. With the hood still removed, he starts up the engine, creating a thunderous roar from the exhaust system. He gets out and starts opening the doors, calling out to Michael* "Those parts aren't going to get themselves, hop in"

*After 20 minutes of careful disassembly, Kevin pulls a small bolt out of one of the cylinders. He then takes a closer look at the air filter and spots a small tear* "Looks like you had a bolt punch right through your filter, go through the carb, and got trapped in a cylinder. It's lucky it didn't do to much damage, just made a lot of noise. I don't have a filter that would fit here, but give me a few minutes to put the carb back on my girl over there" *Kevin points to the 'Cuda* "And we can head to town and pick one up, I have some parts I need to get and order anyways"
-
*Kevin shakes Michael's hand* "I will pass on that smoke thanks, I only smoke when I'm stressed, but out here I can relax, so I only smoke that green stuff. Sorry about blackmailing you like that, but you gotta give me props for pulling that off. It's been a while since I worked on a Harley, so just give me a minute to get the doors open, I'm sure there is some room" *Kevin heads inside, undoes a latch, and slides one of the doors open*
-
*Kevin is eating a homemade breakfast burrito when he hears the knock* "For fucks sake" *Kevin pulls out his phone and opens a app for the security cameras on the outside, and while the video playback loads, he grabs his 1911 out of the bedroom, and comes back checking the magazine. He looks at his phone and sees that it is Micheal outside* "You must be kidding me" *Kevin chambers a round into his gun, puts it in the waistband of his shorts behind his back, and heads down. He opens a smaller door made inside of the larger door, takes a bite of his burrito* "I don't know how you discovered this place, and I frankly don't feel like dealing with bullshit right now, so lets hear it, why are you here" *Kevin takes another bite* ((Waiting for @Herzog's responce))

On the npc front (and I will only mention npc's here) I feel that including more npc's than are necessary would be a bad move for Asylum. Not only would it make the game feel like a GTA (I do enjoy GTA, but still) when you look at the AI made by companies that make hundreds of millions, with thousands of employs, and more often then not there AI are terrible. While I have faith that Asylum will be making a fantastic game with Identity they are a very small studio. And finally added the mechanics would greatly delay the release of the game, and likely ruin immersion. Should modding be supported (and I hope they do), someone one day may try to make a mod that would satisfy that, but at the end of the day Identity will most likely be like the Arma life mods on steroids (after all, that is where Asylum began iirc)

*After driving for several uneventful hours, Kevin directs Ryan down a road just outside of town. After driving down the road for a few minutes, they come up to a driveway with a locked gate, leading to a barn with some old rusted out cars scattered about. Kevin gets out and opens the gate. Once parked outside the barn, Kevin gets out again* "Get the truck turned around, I'll open the doors up" *Kevin walks over to the doors of the barn, and removes the padlock, and slides the doors open so Ryan can reverse inside. Once he is inside he steps out to help unload the pickup truck from the back of the ramp truck. Ryan takes a look around and is surprised at what is inside. The inside of the barn has been converted, so that most of the main floor has been converted into a garage, with a small bit at the far end set up as a living room, with stairs off to the right hand side* "Holy shit man, this place is crazy" "I know, it's where I go when I want to get away. Lets get this unloaded, then I can give you a quick tour" *Once the two of them have the truck unloaded, Kevin takes Ryan to the upstairs area* "A few years ago when I first started to get some money I found this place for cheap, so I bought it and did a renovation. Most of this floor was added onto what I am assuming was a hay loft" *Upstairs there is a small bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchen. The two of them head back downstairs, and as Ryan gets back into the ramp truck to leave, Kevin takes out his wallet and pulls out a wad of cash* "This is a thanks for the help, and to make sure that you don't tell anyone about this place, aside from you no-one else knows about this place. If anyone asks where I am, just tell them I had some business to deal with out of town" "Sounds good boss, see you around" *Ryan takes off out of the converted barn, and Kevin closes the doors behind him. He heads up the stairs into the kitchen, and grabs a beer out of the fridge before heading back down to the main floor. He goes into the living room area and puts on some music. He then walks over to where the truck is parked, and goes over to a covered car. He pulls the cover off revealing a 1971 Plymouth Barracuda 440 Six Pack ((7.2L V8))* "Just a little more work on tuning, and you will be blowing those fucking hot rods out of the water" *Kevin walks over to a work bench with some parts for the Cuda neatly laid out, before turning to the half-ton Chevy. He opens the hood and takes a look at the 350 V8 ((5.7L))* "What the fuck did I just get myself into" *Kevin works for a few hours before flopping on the beat up couch in the living room. He pulls a mason jar out from under the couch. He opens it and deeply inhaling the sent. He quickly rolls a joint before returning the jar to its place. He lights it and begins to smoke while staring at the now mostly disassembled front end of the truck. He walks over to a white board near by and begins to write out a list of things to do, such as rebuilding the engine, and removing some of the dents. Next to this list he looks at a second list, with "'71 'Cuda" written above it. Kevin then walks back over to the couch, ashing into a empty beer can. He lays down and turns on the 60" tv on the wall and watches some movies until he passes out*
